The service and the food was excellent. it made a very pleasent evebing. will be definatley dining here again, and would highly recomend to everyone.

menu wasnt great. found the food expensive for the quality. I also ordered a childs dinner this came out as an adults portion on a hot plate. the hot plate was placed infront of my 2 year old son.

Really great food, so if you're looking for something different from your usual stodgy pub grub, they have a great menu. Very attentive staff too

Fantastic food that you could tell was freshly cooked, portion size was just right. The staff were very friendly and didn't make you feel rushed even though it was mothering Sunday and they we're busy.

Food was lovely, unfortunately it was the night after Valentine's so understandably a bit quite. It was all freshly cooked - which can't be said of many similarly advertised establishments. Will definitely go there again.

The food was excellent, very friendly staff and the service was prompt. The were accommodating with our baby and large Pram. We will definitely visit again.

Lovely food but not enough of it and far too expensive! Staff nice and friendly but shame about quantity and value for money and restaurant in same room as bar so very noisy!

Staff were great The food was fantastic i had breaded Brie and the Mrs had the chicken to start the homemade beef burger was full of flavour and filled us both up 👍

We were a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 children, one of 2 the other 5. The meal was great, lovely food,enormous portions, the service could not be faulted, All the meals were superb and the 5 year old declared the cheese pasta was the best ever.

We had excellent food and service and all served on Chrsitmas Eve. much improved since our last visit and we would recommend the restaurant again now

A very warm welcome on arrival. The menu had some excellent specials and after having beef carpacio and rack of lamb and chocolate mousse I was full and had a great time highly recommended.

Excellent meal served by very friendly and efficient staff . We requested and received a quietly located table, however, the open fire although welcome was a little bit too hot.

Been going here for many years for family meet ups. Excellent food with attention to quality and choice, friendly and efficient staff without being intrusive and a lovely relaxed feel to the venue - modern touches without losing the original age/feel of the building. Will definitely be returning again.

Service good. Food delicious. Setting perfect. Assorted bread and dip not assorted 🤦🏻‍♀️ Selection of cheese? All soft. No hard cheese. Would go back to try other dishes as perfectly cooked and presented 😊

We went for lunch with friends. The food was excellent & the staff were very helpful. There are gluten free options although they are not shown on the menu but some things on the menu an be adapted for gluten free We will definitely go again

Relaxed, nicely decorated surroundings. Enjoyed a pleasant and tasty lunch. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend to others, certainly for lunch. I believe that there are special steak nights.

Lovely restaurant great food excellent service. A bit pricey but you certainly get what you pay for. This is my 2nd visit and I will definitely be returning.

Plates were cold. Had fish and chips, batter was not crunchy and felt it was an average meal. Standard has dropped since our last visit.

Food & service excellent, the only negative I can say is there is no gluten free menu, although there are options we weren't advised the roast beef wouldn't have cauliflower cheese & roast potatoes, a menu would eliminate the uncertainty

Lovely pub, amazing food, clean & tidy, nice atmosphere, very friendly waitress who went the extra mile to accommodate us. Reasonably priced also. Highly recommended.

Lovely setting and friendly and helpful staff. Three of us had delicious lamb shanks but they would have benefited from a little longer cooking, not quite tender enough. The other two were delighted with their choices.

Good service, perhaps a bit quick with not much break between courses (but this is personal preference) lovely food that was perfectly cooked and reasonably priced.

Good food, attentive service together with a really nice environment within the pub. good and varied choice on the menu - the only (minor) issue was with the roast bef where the Yorkshire pudding was massive ( and a little dry) and the potatoes were' solid'without the crispy edge that one normally associates with this roast vegetable.

The Snooty Fox is a beautiful building and dining space. Lovely food, and excellent service; staff were attentive- all in all a very enjoyable evening.

Lovely pub,but four out of six guests did not enjoy their meal. Only two of us decided to have dessert one of which was sent back. I was really disappointed as the venue was my idea. Shame.

They didn't have the restaurant open and sat us in the bar. I was very disappointed as for a dinner for 2 that cost £80 surely deserved the restaurant and not the bar where the dogs were sat!!!! The food was really nice though and worth the money, I was just disappointed where they sat us.

Been here before on a Sunday afternoon and the experience was fantastic. This time I took my family there for Mother's Day and it was not as good as our previous visit. Food was of a high quality, though the roast potatoes were rock solid that my 11 yr old could not cut into them. There staff seemed inexperienced behind the bar but this might be due to getting extra people to accommodate the busy day and not being fully trained. Price wise I thought was expensive, but overall a very good place to go for the special occasions.

We have eaten at The Snooty Fox many times now - it is an ideal place for meeting friends from a distance. The service is always impeccable and the food has always been fabulous. Today the roast beef was delicious, as always, however today the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were over-cooked and mainly just crunchy with little else and we were disappointed that the cauliflower cheese was tiny. The rest of the food was great and we will return.

Quality food and friendly service. Slight mix up of order but great all the same.

We went to the Snooty Fox for lunch on Saturday. The choice of starters and main courses was varied and there were several of each we would have liked to try as well as the meals we choose. The food was really fantastic and as usual the service was brilliant. The desserts were mainly traditional which pleased me but I think my Wife would have liked something lighter and maybe a little more exotic.
