Food is nice looking and good taste. Price is fair.

Decent food and sound staff service. Only issue was portion size - moderate at lunch time, and one person in the group needed a top up from elsewhere.

Late ultimate weekend brunch. The Iberian Charcuterie & Cheese were an irresistible start off cold dishes followed by a variety of starters to share. Missed the main course dish (Juicy Lobster Rice). To avoid disappointment, pre-ordered the rice while making table reservation days before. Gave thumbs to the soft and tender Charcoal Roasted Chicken. Wouldn’t feel complete without tasting the mouth watering desserts. It was a friends birthday and staff immediately asked if there was a special occasion. They surprised us later with a birthday song and candle with our desserts. A very sweet and memorable lunch and warm greeting from the staff will definitely recommend to people.

The music was too loud for a Sunday lunchtime. I asked the staff to turn down the volume which they did. The room was already quite noisy with people talking rather loud.

went there for lunch with 2 other friends and they did not have 2 of the entrees (lobster and can't remember the other item) on the menu. Also waiter service was slow and stiff. Did not feel welcomed there.

We had an amazing time! Food was incredible! We visited in May and decided to bring our friends back while we are all visiting in HK and didn’t disappoint. Riya our waitress was lovely, so kind and attentive. She even drew a nice message on our dessert. Thank you so much!

We had a family reunion on New Year Day. We were a party of seven, requested a quiet corner and they gave us a private room. Very nice indeed! The wine was very reasonably priced for the quality. The dishes were all wonderful and great for sharing with a large group. My only criticism was the pork ribs. It was good but tasted like American bbq (not Spanish to me).

Thank you everyone for taken good care of us from our early arrival to the happy hour until a very pleasant and enjoyable dinner. We will come back and recommend The Optimist!

I invited my friends to the brunch for my birthday. Food was nice as always and the staff was great making us some pictures and giving me some birthday gift at the end.

As a Spaniard I sometimes miss Spanish food in HK, so I am grateful to be able to eat some home food and share it with my friends.

Everything was good except one of staffs on 2nd floor (An English guy, he wears eye glasses and a white color shirts). We asked him to give us a shopping bag for take out our food but he refused and asked us to bring our food in aluminium foil. We saw other staffs packed food and gave shopping bag to other guest but he refused our request twice and simply said there's no shopping bag in your restaurant.

Brunch is good value for money with a good variety of dishes and buffet. Amazing dessert

Our table was not ready when we arrived at the time of our reservation. We were offered a glass of Prosecco on the house which was a nice touch. The food overall was good, but the service was very slow though courteous. We had the sharing sampler, which was good value. The desert, however, was disappointing (cheese cake and chocolate brownie flooded with cheap chocolate sauce and average vanilla ice cream). The restaurant, especially downstairs, was very loud due to the music they were playing.
