Good pizza, friendly staff. Good vegan option. Highly recommended yes.

The food was excellent. One member of the waitstaff answered a question curtly during one visit, but everyone else couldn't have been nicer.

Good food but I ordered a vegan dish and it came with cheese on top.

Totally yummy veggie pizzas best in Edinburgh huge so go hungry!

I enjoyed my food but felt it was a little on the expensive side for what we got. There are other vegan/vegetarian places in Edinburgh that I think offer better value for money without losing out on quality of ingredients.

A little confusion over paying 20p for my partner not finishing her meal and getting a takeaway box she did not ask for which was a bitter end to an otherwise nice night. She also found her calzone to be very wet. There was also a customer kicking up a fuss about waiting but I understand that is on them and not the restaurant. I really enjoy it here and while it is expensive I love the food and I like taking vegan and vegetarian friends here knowing they can have the whole menu.

Pizzas were excellent, everything can be made vegan. Booking recommended as it’s a small space that fills up quickly.

Absolutely amazing, we have been here a couple of times. Can’t fault the service and the food is wonderful. We booked it in advance of Heading up from Lancaster. Definitely be back.

The best vegan friendly restaurant I’ve been to in a while. Tasty pizzas and desert dishes - a definite must visit (but make sure you book ahead - it’s very popular!)

It is not cheap, but the food is delicious and it is so lovely to be able to choose anything off a menu, instead of searching for the one or two vegan options you get in a chain Italian. Long may they prosper!!

Greeted by lovely staff, waited a while to order but she was busy so it’s understandable. Food took a while but it was worth the wait. Pizza’s were lovely, but felt that the lasagna was a little bit on the smaller side for the price, definitely required a hearty side or starter with it.

Fantastic place - the lemon steak was slightly too lemony for me (but that's entirely down to personal preference) but the pizza was phenomenal!

We visited Nova Pizza Vegetarian Kitchen twice within 1 week. We made reservations ahead of time, once via phone and once with the online booking. The service was excellent and food was amazing. Will definitely be back next time we are in Edinburgh.

We had the best time at Nova Pizza. The food is amazing and the waiter is the cutest Italian guy who makes the food even better! There are a ton of vegan options, which makes it hard to choose because everything sounds so tasty! Definitely opt for the vegan cheesecake if you are there. It was a lovely night - from the Netherlands

Fantastic vegan food and a huge selection. I've never been anywhere with more choice for vegans and the restaraunt was a lovely little place, full of character.

Lovely food! The pizzas were massive and very tasty with lots of different toppings to choose from. Small inside but cosy. Staff were great too.

Service and atmosphere was lovely as always. We chose the valentine menu. A generous glass of Prosecco was given at the start. The appetiser with the mock salmon was unbelievable. Starters were small pizzas, very tasty, and a seitan skewer served with a creamy sauce, which was ok but not extraordinary. The waiter allowed us to get a half and half pizza and gnocchi. The pizza was lovely as usual, the gnocchi were fantastic but I may be biased as I love radicchio. We ended with tiramisù and Sacher torte, which were good. The tiramisù could have done with a little more coffee in my opinion but my girlfriend loved it so I guess it’s personal. Espressos which came with dessert were delicious, real Italian style. As expected, we walked out with full bellies and smiley faces.

Food was great but the service was very slow. I can understand that with Valentine’s Day it’s a very hectic time juggling waiting a restaurant and also dealing with take out deliveries, but waiting 40 minutes on drinks and reminding the waiting staff numerous times of what I was waiting on due to them forgetting it kinda ruined the experience a little.

I've just had a really lovely evening at Nova Pizza. The food was excellent, as was the service, and the atmosphere and total ambience were very inviting and enjoyable, as always. I highly recommend a visit here!

Pretty much my favourite place to eat out in Edinburgh. Fabulous options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free alike. Lovely cosy place brilliant and service every time I’ve been in. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Superb food and excellent service. 95% of the menu can be made to suit vegan or veggie tastes. Couldn't recommend it higher for those looking for high, restaurant-quality food.

I’m a vegan and my friend is celiac and between us we were overwhelmed by the options available. The pizzas are delicious, as are the vegan puddings. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent if pricey vegetarian and vegan pasta, pizza and Seitan dishes. Good if slow service. Delicious food with multitude of choices. Go you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely love Nova Pizza. It's cozy and sweet, and the staff are all excellent. Because it's a bit small it's safe to have a reservation in place, which makes me all the more excited and looking forward to going there. Everything I've tried so far off the menu has been amazing, and the option to make an order vegan is great!

Amazing pizza, and I’d go as far as saying the best. My friend who is a meat eater even tried a vegan pizza and loved it. The atmosphere is quiet and enhances the experience. The staff are also very friendly and attentive. I’m a regular here and will keep coming back :)

Nova Pizza is my favourite restaurant. I'm a carnivore but the food is so excellent it is my first choice if I want Italian. Totally recommend.

nice food although the constant in and out of delivery drivers and people seeing if there were any seats was quite annoying especially as we were sat next to the door. was strange to have a bread basket with toasted bread. nice fresh bread not just white would be preferable to dip in oil and vinegar. the bread served with the aubergine dish was again same as bread basket and white and way too heavy. would prefer desserts which aren't all predominantly vegan as this restaurant is a vegetarian catering for vegans I believed but chocolate cake was vegan as were other desserts with only ice cream for non vegans.

The food is amazing and our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The pizzas are a great size and the espresso martini was delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

The food here is delicious! Great service and a lovely friendly place. Can make any meal vegan or vegetarian and they have a large menu selection.

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Edinburgh. The food is excellent, and their range of vegan options is great. The Deliveroo folks going in and out frequently through the restaurant’s thoroughfare can be detrimental to the otherwise cosy atmosphere, but other than that, it’s a wonderful place.
