Lovely 3 course meal. Good menu with a nice selection of options on the starters, mains and desserts. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have visited a few times now and I like that the menu changes on a regular basis.

Good food, good ambience, good service. Had a lovely meal with our niece and her partner. Sharing platters as starter, followed by venison, burgers and vegetarian "steak", followed by cranachan cheesecake, brownie, and lemon posset tart, finished off with coffees, plus good selection of bottled ales. We'll be back!

This was a lovely meal in a relaxed setting with very good service and excellent food! We had scallops, apple and black pudding as a starter with one of our group enjoying the soup of the day. Then we had a range of mains - venison, soufflé and steak - each full of flavour and beautifully presented. A sweet and wine completed our meal and for the quality, it was all very good value. We'll be back!

Delicious meal and good service. Will definitely be back. Didn't need to wait too long for food - Just long enough to drink an aperitif.

Great food, good staff, sensible pricing- what’s not to like ? It was my wife’s birthday tonight and without prompting the service matched the occasion. Well done 🤓👍

Was there for my fiancé’s birthday meal. The food and service were both excellent. Great menu with normal food, not trying to be too weird. 2nd visit and will return soon.

Food was good and service from the team was friendly. That said, this restaurant suffers from the same issues that Livingstons did. The kitchen is too small for the number of covers and they cant get the food out quickly. It took ages for our food to be served.

We had such a lovely evening at Mason Belles! The atmosphere in the restaurant was cosy & welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing. Obviously all freshly prepared and presented with care and attention. There is nothing to be improved upon, we all left feeling what an enjoyable evening it had been with amazing food and wine. We will be back without a doubt & would definitely recommend to friends & family!

Firstly, Mason Belles occupies an important location on the Hight Street in Linlithgow. As a local and regular diner I want to support local business and increase the options available. On the positive side, the food was very good and the menu showed imagination and creativity. The greeting and host lady front of house was welcoming and enthusiastic. A good start. On the negative side, the service was average or poor. The (very young) waitress staff seemed overworked and inexperienced. I’m sure this is just a matter of time to cure. On arrival we were shown to a table, but then ... nothing ... no menu to read, no drinks order ... nothing. Service was slow and impersonal. This is a training and monitoring issue that reflects on management. I’m sure in time this will improve, but I will wait a few months before heading back. Promising start with massive opportunity for improvement. And (as a Mason), I cross my fingers.

I had high tea at Mason Belles which was very nice .Something had gone wrong with the reservation but the staff made me feel very welcome. The restaurant is set away from the High Street and looks out on gardens. Very peaceful.

My husband and I visited for our date night and we were absolutely delighted with everything. The service was very prompt and friendly without being intrusive. The food was the best I have tried in the local area, the flavours of every dish were spot on and portion sizes were good , not too big that you couldn’t fit a desert which you have to have. The marzipan icecream was sensational. The menu has a good veriety of dishes . Great place to come if you want top class food in West Lothian .

Welcome was friendly however overall service was poor. We had to ask to order drinks, for the vegetarian menu and for the bill. We weren’t offered the festive menu either. Found layout/food on menu a bit unusual. Think they should have a separate breakfast/brunch menu then a lunch/dinner menu with vegetarian options on both. They were no vegetarian starters and mains as such just dishes, most of which I though were more starters and sides. Partner wasn’t impress with Sunday roast, small piece of meat and not much veg. Though I enjoyed starter found main disappointing. Pre bought garlic flatbread with small amount of roasted squash & feta. Nothing exciting! Kids menu ok bit babyish and again nothing special and burger was dry.

Had a fantastic meal! Though received bottle of rose wine warm told waitress who filled wine cooler with water. I then asked for ice which I got about four pieces and then had to keep asking for more as wine so warm. The asked for tomato sauce with meal said they had ran out and gave me mayonnaise. I love good food but also ketchup.

Lovely wee place. Food was great and staff very friendly. The only trick they missed was not offering us drinks while we were waiting for our table to be prepared.
