The ambiance felt lovely walking in. The staff were attentive, if perhaps a little too enthusiastic at times! The food was well presented and tasty. However, the mains were very slow to arrive and the prawn salad main was very light - it would have made an adequate starter.

Staff were lovely but food was disappointing. Steak was full of fat with very poor quality meat. Monkfish tail was so small I thought it was a starter. It was bulked up with frozen peas and sweet corn. The frozen fruit desert with a teaspoon of meringue was equally disappointing. Not worth the money I paid. I won’t be back nor recommend to anyone. Shame really as there is potential to be so much better.

Every thing just perfect, who could ask for anything more.

We really enjoyed our visit. The service and food were excellent. We visited when it just opened and found the service a bit odd and the food average. However this time the young lady and man who were serving were first rate. I really enjoyed the hake and the cauliflower bites as starter. We will definitely be back.

Lunch was just what we wanted - set menu, choice of drinks and a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere with food that was full of flavour, light and good to look at! Highly recommended.

1st visit since change of ownership. Only slight negative was size of table. We were a party of 5 at a table best suited to 4.

Ribeye steak was good with lovely flavour. Cheese plate rather over priced as was 200mls lemonade £2.60 come on.

Everything was just lovely. I had not been for a while so a new menu with more lovely options. The food and service was great, just right and, we felt, very good value for money. The restaurant has been decorated since we were last there and looks very nice. The garden area was looking lovely also with tables outside.

This was our first visit and it was perfect to celebrate my parents anniversary. The team offered superb and attentive service in beautiful surroundings, and the food lived up to our expectations! Well done to Lindsay and her team for creating a real gem of a find in Linlithgow. We will be back.

We had an excellent dinner with excellent service. Only one small complaint - my husband's steak which was ordered medium came far too rare for his liking. However it was returned and came back nicely cooked.

For 3 of us our meal was good. One of our party, however, had the Piri Piri Monkfish and King Prawns Unfortunately, we felt that for one of the dearest plates on the menu, it was not good value for money There was only 1 prawn on the plate although advertised as Monkfish with “King Prawns” We did complain at the time, but the only offer we got was that they could bring some bread or potatoes. The waitress then said she could get some more fish, but it would take some time. My wife and I have eaten at Mason Belles a few times and have always been impressed. It was annoying that when we brought some visitors for the first time we had a problem

The staff could not have been more helpful and really lovely. 3 allergy children so lots of questions which were no trouble to be checked out & very patient with us. The 3 adult meals were absolutely delicious-I have only 110% positive comments from today’s visit and can not wait to visit again! Many many thank you’s MBK!
