Jashan Indian Restaurant

This has become one of our favourite local restaurants! We have never had a bad meal. We enjoy trying different dishes from the unusual menu and the service is always friendly.

Service was not like it use to be new staff dont care food wasnt as good didnt even get wet wipes had to beg 4 times for a coke was a joke

Great food, very reasonable prices and good service. Last time we went there we had to wait ages for our food as the restaurant was busy sorting out Deliveroo orders. They seem to have sorted out that problem as the service was very good & we got our food in good time.

Return visit and not disappointed. The food is really delicious and service spot on, polite, friendly and efficient.

I have been to this restaurant a number of times over the years. It is a first class curry house and one of the best in North London. The staff are friendly, the portions are generous and the food is excellent and very well flavoured. Last night we waited quite a while for our food, but this was a good sign. Too many Indian Restaurants serve the food far too quickly and last nights meal was carefully prepared. Also from a price point of view it is exceptional value.

I would like to inform you that the restaurant was unaware that one of the patron had an allergy to nuts despite me highlighting it in the special dietary message box when I made the reservation through you. This has serious implications as it can be life threatening. Other website reservation services like Bookatable or Opentable inform the restaurants about it before hand & as soon as we arrive at the restaurant we are asked which of us has the allergy. this gives the assurance to us that the message has been passed on to the restaurant staffs properly & it is safe for us to have food there. This is a feedback for you to implement better communication between yourself & the restaurant staffs. Food was delicious. Nice variety of foods on offer that tasted home made. Great and fast service from the waiters. Would recommended for a great meal.

This was excellent as always. Distinctive and very different Indian food that is a cut above the average Indian diner. The service is friendly and helpful and the complimentary pappadums and dips, accompanied by a pint of cool Kingfisher set the meal off to a great start. Couldn't be better!

Excellent food and friendly service! Can’t wait to go back again. Best grilled lamb chops, sag paneer, dhal and biryani that I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.

Have been here many times. Delicious food. Lots of choice. Friendly service. Good value. They need to renovate the ladies toilets where they have a big damp problem. Will go again

Great food and very friendly staff. Also excellent value for money. We were there on a Friday night and were there for several hours and the staff didn’t rush us and made us feel welcome.

Ambiance and Food is very good as usual, but Service is NOT up to standard. Over all we had good time. We intend to continue going there on a regular basis.

A wonderful local Indian - the food is always delicious, each dish distinctive. There is no standard sauce or flavour that pervades everything, as can often happen. This time we went with vegetarian friends so only ordered vegetarian dishes and everything was excellent.

A great Indian restaurant, food freshly prepared, always delicious, best seafood I've had in an Indian Restaurant which makes a lovely change, tandoori fish, prawn curry's also good veg particularly smoked aubergine, yum, yum. All washed down with pints of ice cold Kingfisher. Excellent.

Lovely food, quality ingredients, cooked beautifully and really tasty. Very nice staff Good atmosphere - air conditioning works! We are really looking forward to visiting again.

Excellent local restaurant, reasonably priced. Modern Indian cuisine with a wide range of ingredients and flavours from all over India. We go regularly and would recommend highly. One of the best Indian restaurants we have visited in London over the last 35 years.

An ok menu , nothing outstanding, slow service , if you have nowhere else to go. Curries ordered had same base of spices which were poorly prepared, starters had food colour and was a poor effort. 70 pounds spent on nothing extraordinary.

Food was tasty, and service friendly and quick, just took a while for our food to come out. Will def eat there again though whenever I feel like a curry.

It was as good as ever. We have been going to Jashan for many years and it has remained remarkably consistent in quality and good value.

Food was tasty, had maisur masala dosa which was excellent! parking is free after 6:30 pm & 100% vegetarian which is a plus. need little work on washrooms maintenance.

Very tasty and spicy Indian food. Nice atmosphere, sufficiently quiet. Everything is done fresh, but that also means a good amount of waiting. Certainly one of the better Indian restaurants! I will come again.

Decidedly average food; not the best atmosphere- one customer who had been waiting over an hour for his takeaway kicked off; the 2 girls on the table next to us received an incorrect main and were asked to leave after paying as other people were waiting for their table! We won't be back

Food absolutely outstanding. Probably the best Indian food I've had anywhere. Some of the decor is looking a little tired, and the toilets, although clean, seemed a little neglected, but apart from that everything was ok including the service. I will visit again.

Good restaurant. Happy to return any time. My favourites are the lamb keema and fish starters and they serve the best garlic naan. Yummy! :)

We arrived to find we had no booking!!! The restaurant had no record or email from Quandoo..... Despite being packed they found us a table which was a relief. The food and service was excellent so they score full marks whilst Quandoo receive a 1 as this could have ruined our evening along with our guests.

The food was superb. Really interesting menu and beautifully cooked. Be prepared for large portions and if you want to try lots of different things you will end up taking some home - or very, very full!

It took almost 30 minutes for our food to be served, and despite asking three times, no one came to take additional order. Food quality was also mediocre.
