Food and service were excellent as was the unexpected special offer. It was a shame they hadn’t picked up our on line booking correctly, we booked for 5 people but they only thought it was for 2!! To be fair though they did fit us in even though they were extremely busy. I’ve marked down on atmosphere as there was a children’s birthday party in so there was quite a few children running around, not something I like when looking for a relaxed dining experience. Would definitely recommend and return but would make a telephone booking next time.

The guys were really accommodating, we were the last in the restaurant just enjoying drinks for my birthday and were really friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Gorgeous Food and Welcoming service as always. We live in Bowburn and love having Italian Farmhouse close in next village to come to for good value food dining out for a treat.

Main course was ok but poor portions, dessert was supposed to be chocolate orange cheesecake but the bright orange thing that came was awful and tasted nothing like orange or chocolate. Service was very slow and had to go and seek out someone to fetch the bill in the end as we were sick of waiting for someone to pass by. Would not be returning.

Lovely food and decent price. It came out quick considering it was a busy Saturday night. Friendly staff too so overall a lovely night in a lovely place.

this was our first visit, and overall we enjoyed it the service was friendly but a little slow but the food was tasty my partner said her veg was not very warm but apart from that it was enjoyable maybe the place could do with a little revamp as looking a little tired but we will go back as the food was good.

The food was lovely but was disappointing that 2 ordered fillet and they didn't have any, unsure whether this was down to using a tastecard?

Overall good , service was a bit slow taking orders drinks ect we did wait what seemed a long time once we were seated to be asked about drinks then again taking food order . but food was lovely.

Great Italian food we will definitely be going back again. The staff were friendly & helpful. I think it also has a micro-brewery next door as there are a selection of real ales. 🙂

The food was well worth waiting for, freshley prepared! There was a lovely friendly atmosphere, that waitress was very helpful. The home brewerd bear went down very well.

From walking in to leaving could not fault it. Greeted well! Ombiance spot on!! Amazing food!! Will definately be back!! Sunday lunch to die for!!

We always love the Italian Farmhouse. It's in next Village to us. Staff are excellent friendly attentive and helpful. Food is delicious and good Value.

Food average. Anglicised Italian, not authentic. Staff need to learn how to pronounce what they're serving - as an Italian speaker I was very irritated at being told that 'bruschetta' is 'bru-shetta', arancini is 'arunseeni' etc. Also, if you're going to write a menu, use spell-check. Even the English spellings were off. On the up side, staff were very friendly and service was good.

Lovely food and service. 4 of us ate all having different meals and they were excellent value and quality would definitely recommend locals to a visit

Aside from slow service which they said was due to shortage of staff But The taste of food was very good.👍👍 Thanks for the good service

Great service, excellent food, really recommend this place to eat Best Itailian food that I have had for some time. Atmosphere was also nice only negative is that people using the garden have to access the bar via restaurant, that said would certainly go again.

First visit here. Food was good, service was very good, nice atmosphere. My only gripes were the bruschetta was stone cold & I chose a side of veg to go with my mains & was expecting lovely Mediterranean veg like peppers, courgette, red onion etc but instead I got boiled broccoli / cauliflower & carrots which was not a good accompaniment to my Italian chicken dish. That saying I would return & try something different as the staff were very good indeed & my chicken dish with the prawns was delicious as were the mussels my husband & parents had to start .

Great service, polite staff and tasty food! A relaxing atmosphere for a catch up with friends. This was my first visit to Italian Farmhouse in Coxhoe, I shall be returning soon 😊

Good atmosphere, great food and really pleasant staff. Moisture in the air causes the furniture to be a bit sticky otherwise it would have been perfect :)

Fabulous food service and value for money which I would highly recommend. We had the 2 steaks and bottle of wine for £20 which was outstanding value

Great food, traditional interior, nice atmosphere, friendly & helpful service. We've been before & will certainly go again. They are flexible & will make small alterations for personal tastes if asked. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious and very friendly staff. Food was fresh and full of flavour. The beer was also very good and we later discovered they have their own gin so definitely going back

Food and service was amazing, staff were attentive and I never had an empty glass. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The only downside was the room temp it was just way too hot but we left the dining room to finish our drinks and the air was cooler in the bar

Lovely food and very friendly people 😊 kids enjoyed making their own pizzas, would definitely go back again. My little one loves going in summer as likes playing in the beer garden outside.

Lovely food and friendly staff. The children really enjoyed making their own pizzas. Only negative was one of the kids ice creams didn’t arrive with the other desserts but this was quickly rectified when pointed out to staff.

Was ok! Meatball starter, the meatballs were cold. Main of fillet was ok, pepper sauce had no taste. Seems to have gone downhill. Very quiet and still had to wait a while

Food was beautiful. Plenty of choice. Reasonably priced. Excellent service. Great time was had by all. Never known anywhere with such a choice of ale. Will definitely be returning.😊

Good tasty food as always, although only a few tables we were left waiting for service quite a bit, like ordering and between courses. For some reason only half the plates were cleared, we waited to order ice creams for our children and the waitress still left the plates on the table. Fortunately we weren't in a rush but a little more attention would have made this visit a higher rating.

Service started off a little slow. Then once seated, were attentive, food was quick, staff asked if our meals were good, if we needed anything else. Food tasted good, and they do good deals at certain times of the day.

Lovely rustic surroundings. Great choice on the menu along with happy hour deals. Enjoyed our food, friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Will certainly return soon.

Food and service was lovely, kids made their own pizzas. 3rd visit and would return again 😊 The restaurant is seperate from the bar area making it family friendly.
