Great food in a quirky setting. I have been a few times & would definitely revisit.
Great place. Really good korean food. Very sad that they are closing the place. If you ever reopen I will be there, for sure! Thank you
The food was very delicious. The staff were quite helpful and nice. Everything came quickly. It was a very fast service. I recommend Kimchi jjigae. It was quite good!
Great service, nice and pleasant waiter. The atmosphere is quite welcoming and cool - you can stay closer to the kitchen and the bustling come and go or more on the outside, where it's quieter. The food was really good and authentic. BYOB without corkage charge. Will come back.
This was my second visit and as before we received attentive and friendly service, fabulous food and all reasonably priced. Would recommend the bibimbap for something fresh and hearty, or the yang-yeom chicken if you're feeling naughty!
I went to Hurwundeki on Thursday 20/10/2016 for dinner with two friends. The staff was very courteous and nice, the service prompt. The food was delicious and the prices very reasonable. We all had an excellent time, and I can only recommend Hurwundeki! Two tiny snags: I tried to book a table by phone at first, but couldn't (despite many attempts). Also, the food cam nearly too promptly (not really a problem, but I enjoy looking forward to the next course...).
Great food and fast service which was ideal as we were in a rush. Thanks! Recommend the glass noodles.and fried chicken. Very reasonable price too.
Starters were fab (can't go wrong with chicken wings), mains bland. Service was slow but servers were very nice. Overall the byo policy made up for it !
The food was great, service was friendly and accommodating and it is very well priced! Not the first time I've been and I do intend to come back!
Amazing food and friendly service. Only downside was the very loud repetitive music, but maybe that only happens on Saturday evenings. Overall would recommend - especially takeaway.
A big fan of Hurwundeki. The food is really good, it's incredibly cheap and you can bring your own wine/beer. That's why we keep on coming back.
Good food, nice atmosphere, ok service (forgot one plate), only thing is super loud music, don't bring your parents there or older people. Might be difficult to hear anything
Great food! Fried chicken is new on the menu and tastes great. Need to dim the lighting a little to make the atmosphere more relaxed.
Food was awesome and authentic. Great that it is bring your own booze too. 3 of us shared 2 starters and 3 mains left a tip came to £55.
It was a very lovely atmosphere and the food was pretty good! I liked the open door concept and that it was not very crowded, so overall I highly recommend Hurwundeki :)
Lovely accommodating staff, we all had Bibimbaps and they were very tasty, great place to sit outside in the sun, it's BYOB so bring a bottle of Prosseco!
Great place, great atmosphere. Quirky decor with good waiters and waitresses. Even have your hair cut while you wait. Will recommend this place to friends
Built in to arches beneath an old railway line, I liked the premises. Also with a fair size outside seating area. Most importantly, great tasting food.
Amazing experience, great place and friendly staff. Higly recommended if you're looking for an authentic and not ordinary place to eat a great meal in London.
Food was nice and authentic. The service was very friendly and quick. The atmosphere is very relaxed and more importantly BYOB is really great along with the food.
Great restaurant, great food, great value and you get to bring your own booze with you. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a good meal at little expense.
This is the fourth or fifth time I have been to Hurwundeki to eat and yet again I had an amazing meal and lovely experience.
Great place with authentic Korean food in a relaxed atmosphere. Brilliant value for money. There were 7 of us, most people had starters and we all had a main. Bill came in under £80 including service. BYOB. Would highly recommend for groups or couples or indeed anyone looking for a good meal at a great price!
I had to make a last-minute reservation for dinner with my fiance, I was lucky that there was still space and we had a lovely meal as always! My only gripe is that the Kimchi portion seems to have reduced in size over time...
The food was average at best- Bibimbap with 'beef' was almost vegetarian in its lack of meat. It was basically a big bowl of rice with barely anything else. Staff were a joke - incredibly rude and sarcastic throughout, which was topped off by their distaste at our splitting the bill at the end. We will not be returning.
Interesting setting, friendly staff, simple menu and choices available for spicy or non-spicy food eaters. Food however wasn't as great as other Korean restaurants I've been to
Really friendly service, quirky place and the food was really tasty. The kimchi jeon, Topokki and pork bulgogi were all excellent, the beef Bibimbap was ok.
Lovely atmosphere and food. Greeting and service timings could be better/more attentive/more polite. But it has a great vibe and love that it is byo
Portions are a bit small and the place is a bit cold but other than that: excellent!!! I love love the food and the atmosphere.
Always great - delicious Dumplings and tofu bibimbap. Great vibe and friendly staff, they've expanded since last time I was there and it looks great
Not the best Korean food but great atmosphere and experience! One of the best BYO places i've been too in London, try their kimchi stew!
loved it such good service and the food was amazing. I had the Bip m Bap with beef and it was delicious! I will definitely be returning
it was nice. The food was good. We got served very quickly. The prices are not what their web page says by far, which was disappointing.
Love Hurwundeki! The food is great value for money, the interior is quirky, staff are friendly, BYOB with no corkage fee, they take cards. ❤️
Strange and interesting set up they've got going on here. Lovely food and great service, plus the free corkage on BYOB made for a great night!
Cool atmosphere, great that it's BYOB too. I chose the pork belly dish which was fantastic and good value too. I would definitely recommend for a low key occasion.
Enjoyed the food (but I've never had Korean food before, so don't know how it compares) and nice friendly service (good tipping policy - all tips go to the staff).
amazing value and good atmosphere. Plastic cups only but no bid deal with food that cheap and good! Cheers for a great night, from D x
As always... fabulous service, delicious Korean food, cool music and all in a fun and quirky environment. I would definitely recommend Hurwundeki. Just love it!
Always brilliant at Hurwundeki. The food is always fresh and comes quickly. The atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed, BYOB is much appreciated and adds to relaxed feel.
Amazing food - so tasty, and such a cool quirky place! The BYO option is fab, but the food is priced really reasonably and so fresh! would highly recommend in, and will definitely be going back again
Nice place, a bit quirky, food was good, not too pricey and arrived quickly. They don't have an alcohol licence but BYOB. I liked the ginger lemonade and Dalston cola. Unfortunately they have a lot of single and double steps which makes this place not very accessible for wheelchair users. Could be changed easily.
Appalling service. Staff was extremely rude because I sent back a bibimbap that was cold with no beef in it. Waiter extremely snotty and rude, tried to overcharge us. Luckily I can add. I am never ever going back.
It's a relaxed BYOB neighbourhood joint. Great food. I love the bimbimbap and the the chicken dumplings are amazing. Book ahead though, esp Thursday to Saturday as it does get busy.
Great food, atmosphere and experience. I've been here several times and it is always brilliant! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! The bimimbap is my favourite!
The food was being served hot which I like! Love the BYOB... We enjoyed our valued meal with own beer & wine... Will visit the place again.
It was great and the food is so nice and delicious. The service was friendly. The spicy noodle was my favorite dish. The one thing that needs to get improved is the mussel as it is not really edible.
The food is authentic and simple Korean food with some great homemade options like Khimchi and pickles. The service is fast and attentive. Great choice
yum korean food - especially the starters, good for night out with friends. bring your own alcohol is great, no complaints there. thanks for having us.
Great staff, delicious food and incredible BYOB :). Such great value for money and in such a funky little building. A great night out with the girls.
