The food was amazing, the service was good and the value for money was ok
Excellent food.. nice casual relaxing restaurant, staff very pleasant, good value
Nice and cozy place. Great Indian food. Can recommend it.
Great food and service will definitely be back very soon
Fantastic menu, with really tasty and unusual dishes. Friendly staff without great service. Absolutely recommend.
Stunningly good food in an informal venue. Not a place for a romantic meal but great for a fun date. A million miles from tikka masala land.
I have been many times before and come back with different friends, the standard remains consistently high. Look forward to seeing you again soon!
The best Indian food I ever had! A contemporary twist to traditional Indian food.
Absolutely gorgeous food in a relaxed but stylish setting. Modern Indian dishes that look and taste great. Genuinely can't wait to visit again :-)
Great service and unbelievably good food! Can't wait to come back!!! 😁😁😁
Visited after a bit of online research. Horn Please is a small, intimate restaurant serving small plate contemporary Indian cuisine. The waitress explained the menu and told us the evening variations. We ordered 5 different plates all of which were superb. The lamb curry is by far the best we have ever had. Don’t miss if you are in Glasgow and looking for an authentic Indian meal with a modern twist.
Food was delicious, I’d recommend Horn Please if you enjoy curry
Excellent Indian food. Good flavours and the best take on Indian in Glasgow.
A little bit confusing menu, but everything tasted good. Nice location.
We really didn't know what to expect from a Contemporary Indian Cuisine restaurant but we were hugely impressed. We're usually city centre diners but was recommended this newly relocated restaurant by friends. The service was first class and the food was exceptional. Our small plates choices were helped by the couple sitting next to us who had been a few times - and the waitress - who, managed (very admirably) the full front of house by herself. Highlights for us included - the boneless masala chicken curry, spring lamb and potato curry and the chicken tikka breast with the cream and fenugreek sauce. Delicious! We had 8 plates between 3 of us and found that plenty. A very impressive first time visit with my husband already arranging visit No 2! Well done everyone - a true hidden gem!
Good food as usual but smaller venue meant slightly cramped and more noisy. Would still recommend for food.
Great food and service! 2nd visit, will be back. A little disappointed at being rushed out of our table after 1.15 after arriving 30 mins early at restaurants requests. Booked online last minute, must have been a mix up. Will check time available first next time.
Cosy atmosphere; fab music soundtrack played at pleasant low volume, superb food - great flavours & presentation; delightful, efficient service. Loved it!
Excellent food and service, good value for money and we will be back
The flavours in the food were absolutely delicious. A great night and really great price for food you shouldn't miss. Staff were all lovely too
Turned up on time for meal which was booked in advance. Only to fine the premises in darkness doors locked. Very disappointing situation. Certainly would not book again.
My husband and I had dinner at Horn Please last night. We went with another couple and had a lovely time. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the service was excellent! Thank you! We will be back!!!
Indisches Restaurant mit hervorragenden Angebot. Aufgrund der geringen Anzahl an Plätzen ist eine Reservierung sehr zu empfehlen. Ausreichend Zeit einplanen, da der Abend bei indischen Tapas lang werden kann.
Visited restaurant with my husband for the first time. Will certainly be back. Food was absolutely delicious, fabulous atmosphere and staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved being able to taste a variety of Indian inspired dishes tapas style. Fabulous gin cocktails made it a perfect evening. Would highly recommend everyone to give it a try.
Brilliant highly recommend. Had 3 dishes each and was just perfect for the two of us. Parking on street outside so was convenient for us travelling about 30mins drive.
Deliciously tasty food in a relaxed and trendy setting with great service - love this place and would recommend to anyone who loves Indian to experience this different take on it. I love the fact it’s tapas - makes it more fun as you get to try more and they are decent sizes too. Very good value.
Third visit. Food always spot on. Lovely fusion of spices and herbs. Presentation of every dish is done with care and attention. Very relaxed atmosphere and staff friendly and helpful. Definitely a great eating place.
The food was excellent, the cocktails were delicious and the service was impeccable. It seemed to be a very lovely group of staff that worked there and they took great care of us.
Charming and cosy little hidden gem. The flavours of food we ordered were so light, delicate and fresh. Our waitress was professional, courteous & attentive. It was a lovely dining experience. Thank you!
Mid-week and we were the only people in the restaurant. Shame, as the food is great and the place is really nice. Good service and will go back.
Its a nice change to go to an Indian Restaurant like this, bit off beat, very self consciously shabby chic. Its very relaxed and quite a fun place to eat. I didn't expect to rave about their gin and tonic but it was amazing! The food is delicious and not the usual at all. Really very nice indeed. It was good value too. My only complaint is I just don't really like the whole tapas thing. To me it always feels like it's at the restaurants convenience to provide you with food as and when and in rather small portions and sold to you as the customer as a novel and trendy way to eat. We certainly ate enough but would all have preferred to get larger portions that we could all share all at one time. Service was friendly and good.
Food, service and timing was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back and recommending horn please to all my friends and family. Thank you for a great meal
A hidden gem, well worth the visit. This was my third visit and i’m already planning my next one. The service, as ever, was excellent. Staff knew the menu really well. I e mailed a few questions before hand and received very prompt reply. On arrival, the chef came out to personally address my queries. The food when it came was wonderful. They have managed to keep to authentic Indian tastes and have a very modern presentation. I sampled tastes that took me back to childhood in India. While my gran would not have recognised the presentation, she would have approved of the flavours!
Fabulous food unusual combinations but amazingly good and excellent value Staff very knowledgeable about the menu Recommend the cocktails and the desserts are simply amazingly good. What’s not to like?
First visit and will definitely be back, the food was excellent quite different from other Indian restaurants, great service and very comfortable, we had 2 appetisers and 3 dishes all great
Superb food and quality service in a charming setting. Highly recommend the Grilled Duck Breast dish along with the Masala Lamb Meatballs. Hope to be back there soon.
I have been twice recently to this restaurant and intend to return. The food is excellent as is the service and the environment is quirky and relaxed. The staff are super-helpful and helped me design a delicious menu for my son's birthday at very short notice. Thank you again, Goda, and see you soon!
