Superb food, wonderful polite, efficient staff, excellent service. Also what made the evening was the fact they remembered my friend's birthday with a complimentary delicious coconut ice cream.

All the food was perfect. 2 of mains didn’t arrive with the others which left us all waiting to eat. Would have preferred our drinks first. A lot of staff just very busy.

The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was simply outstanding – every dish was delicious and beautifully presented.

Food and atmosphere was good however experience was significantly dampened by one staff member constantly reminding about the restaurant closure and rushing us to order our food. We arrived hour and half early before the closure time of 10pm and there were people arriving after us, some even after 9:15, yet he was rushing us to order. Felt like a fast food chain instead of fine dining.

Such a wonderful restaurant, we arrived early and went next door to the cocktail bar also a great place for a drink before the meal. The waiter was very helpful as we were not sure on all the dishes he advised what would go best with the mains as side dishes. The whole experience was wonderful, we can see why they have so many awards. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Ambience and servers were fantastic! Wish the dosas were made of ghee (or the variation allowed) then would have 5 stars from my family!

Absolutely love the food, the style, the restaurant and the food!!! We come every year for our Xmas get together but also throughout the year. The only negative was the music was too loud and not as relaxing as it normally is. I haven't ever noticed this before, normally lovely music. The food is just gorgeous and never disappointed. A visit to Leicester for another reason led us to book a meal here - we last came here 6 years ago! Everything stood up well to our memories of this fabulous veggie / vegan Karalan restaurant. The food, value, atmosphere and care were all fabulous. Long may it last!

Fantastic flavours, really great vegan food and absolutely wonderful service

first visit and it won't be the last! Everything was excellent! I'm not vegetarian but it made me think that there is little point in eating meat when so much flavour can be found like this. I would highly recommend everything about this restaurant.

Having seen it featured on television, as we were passing, overnight stop, and a meal at Herb. WOW, super food, lovely surroundings, great staff, added up to a fantastic meal. We will pass again next year, so we will visit Herb then.
