El Inca Plebeyo

One of my favourite places in London. Food is delicious, staff are very friendly. Very good value, and is definitely worth a visit - we go about once a month!

Really enjoyed it last night, chef Jorge made us some HUMITAS, a speciality in Quito which I had when I was there last year. I've looked far and wide for them in the myriad of S. American restos in London but to no avail.They were so good we (well actually I) had them twice. As a vegetarian I like to see at least 2 dishes that I can eat and as this was my second time I've had them both now! I would've liked to have sampled the Green Banana Soup but it wasn't available last time and because I'd eaten so many humitas I was stuffed to the gills even if it was on the menu! Sat up on the terrace both times as it's great for a bit of privacy, however it looked like a fab atmosphere downstairs too! Jorge and the staff are really friendly and when they're not too busy they'll come and have a proper chat. Loved the food both times and I highly recommend this place for something a bit different.
