Ok, but no more. Frankly overpriced. We are hear 6 months ago and the service was more attentive and food just tastier. I can't see them surviving much longer if they don't connect more with their food.
Friendly and attentive customer service. Fresh ingredients and flavoursome dishes. A cosy restaurant but lively ambience, without being noisy. Overall a lovely experience and would go again
A great evening. Delicious food and great drinks as well as lovely service and atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back for more soon. Would recommend.
Really delicious, authentic Ecadorian food. The cerviches were universally adored. The fish stew was really delicate and the roasts highly acclaimed by my friends. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to those wanting to try something a bit different
Overall our dinner involved great service and tasty food! The waitress was kind and really helpful, the place is cosy and the food is amazing!
Amazing restaurant - perhaps my favorite in London. Beautiful dishes, exceptional service, excellent atmosphere/interior design. The Cevice's are truly amazing, and have single-handedly derailed a recent fling with Vegetarianism... Henry
El Inca Plabeyo is a lovely family run restaurant. It had a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere and chef Joges take on traditional Ecuadorian dishes is out of this world!
Great dining experience! Service was excellent, our server explanimed the dishes to us and offered great recommendations. The food was delicious!perfect to try amd share. The quinoa pudding is a must. We will be coming again soon!
Amazing food and great cocktails! I had lamb and it was cooked to perfection. Staff is very nice, I'll come back and recommend this restaurant.
The place was very quiet. i hope they do get busier. the food was very nice. i particularly liked the tuna starter. i will come back soon
Great overall dining experience, lovely place, amazing food, service was impeccable! I wish we had been able to eat other items from the menu but I guess we will just have to go back again and again for more.
This was the second time I have visited El Inca Plebeyo. Great food and great service. Highly recommend the coconut fish stew and a pisco sour!
Great restaurant, fantastic flavours and attentive service. Try the plantain with cheese as a starter, the ecuadorian roast specialty and the quinoa pudding as a dessert.
Really friendly staff, nice decor and great food. All four of us really enjoyed our time there. The plantain and mushrooms were really tasty, but the chili chocolate desert and pisco sour cocktails were the highlights.
Transformative interiors took us away from London and dropped us into a South American evening which consisted of really polite and amicable staff, visible pride in their efforts and of course, the quality of their food. We chose all the recommended dishes and were left wanting nothing more. Except for an extra plate of chicken wings one of which had to packed for the journey home. We will definitely be back!
Cool quirky little place with great atmosphere. Staff were really nice, helped with food and drinks orders. Food was very good, really enjoyed the whole experience and will be going again.
Excellent food and friendly service in a fun atmosphere. The variety was great but the menu not too long. My friends will be back with others.
Great taste and interesting flavours of the Ecuadorian delicious food. Should be more of this places distributed in several parts of London. It's amazing the quality of food and variety.
It was our first visit at El Inca Plebeyo and for sure we'll be back. Nice and cosy atmosphere with beautiful ceviche as starters. The mains were good. Too but not as exciting. My wife's seabass was cooked to perfection and so was my chicken. Limited but very good choice of wines. Staff was very nice and helpful. Perhaps but that's because I'm french...I would have loved to have some bread to slurp that sauce with the ceviche :-)
Amazing original South American food. The guys there were awesome. Very friendly and prepared to help you with your choices !! It will definitely become my local!
This is a Lovely little place with Really friendly staff. Good fresh seafood and delicious cooking. An unexpected gem on Essex road. Would recommend to try it for yourself
Lovely staff, beautiful ceviche. Everyone was very friendly and very professional, the price was very good considering the amount of food that we had. Highly recommend?
A group of 5 girls visiting for a late Saturday lunch. Very tasty food, lots of great flavours in a cute restaurant with lovely staff.
Good spicy food. Ceviche and scallops, followed by pork belly and mushrooms. Colourful decor, folk music, cocktails and low noise levels contribute to make for an enjoyable night out.
The food was nice and the waitress was excellent. The ambience was excellent. The stairs to the toilets are a bit steeply though not good if you are disabled.
Nice food, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Value for money! We particularly enjoyed the spicy ceviche with tiger milk and the very succulent baby chicken. Recommended for a cheerful and informal dinner.
The food was excellent and the place was very cool. Staff were friendly. We had a great time and will definitely go back. Fairly priced too
Great tasty food and Latin like atmosphere. It will be even better if the plates hasve more food on it. Good location, I recommend it.
Very attentive service, knowledgeable staff, great authentic food with no frills, the portions are huge- you would have a quarter of it at a Peruvian restaurant somewhere in soho! great local place.
The food was excellent. We did not know anything about Ecuadorian food and the waitress helped us in our choice without "pushing" us to over-order. The service was very good and the staff very welcoming
Nice Ecuadorian restaurant, good food choices and very pleasant staff. It lacked a bit of atmosphere as we were the only people in the restaurant but perhaps because we went for lunch on a rainy Saturday. Overall it was a lovely meal with authentic Ecuadorian dishes. Loved the sea bass ceviche and my grilled sea bass was delicious.
My wife and I had a nice dinner at Inca Plebeyo using a voucher. The flavours were interesting but the portion sizes were small (I have a big appetite!). If I had paid full prices then I would've been disappointed. However, this is often the case when I go out to eat and the service was fantastic! Very friendly and that made the experience very enjoyable. I will be back to try the happy hour!
Lovel food, lovely staff. I'd been there once, finding it almost by accident, & ate a delightful dinner so went back a few months later. A treasure trove of delights, the ceviche is delicious & my main, an unctuous barley risotto, delightful.
Really lovely staff, they remembered us from last time. Lovely food the mains are absolutely amazing! Lovely feel would defo recommend it to anyone wanting to try the cuisine.
An excellent experience of equadorian food. It was a real treat! We would recommend the pisco sour as aperitif and the seviche, but anything is delicious! Will be back soon!!
A lovely restaurant with very friendly service. The starter was excellent and also the main tasteful and traditional. Unfortunately a bit pricy as portions are not very big and do not come with sides.
I have never had Ecuadorean food before and was a little apprehensive, but the food was wonderful. We tried the chicken wings and plantain for starters and they were great. The lamb absolutely melted in my mouth. Reasonable size portions. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff highly attentive...
The food was absolutely amazing and served very nicely. Delicious white wine, impeccable service and a very nice ambience made a perfect evening. We will go there again for sure!
There were a lot of things on the menu that were not available but she did not tell us when we first ordered. So we ordered about 5 times before getting our food. Maybe the staff should know his pre service
Took my wife there for a special occasion. Superb food with quality service. Very interesting combination of flavours. The lamb was to die for. Quinoa dessert was amazing.
Service at the restaurant was fantastic, good welcome & personal care during the evening. The athmosphere at the restaurant is great, feeling transported to south america as you get in. Food was very especial, although dishes contained a little bit too much coriander for our taste, we liked the varierty of new dishes and flavours, new to our palates. We loved the plantain with homemade cheese and tomatoes. Unfortunately we were too full to try desserts! Constructive criticism is that the terrace could do with a bit of work and change in decoration; we only spent few minutes in the terrace. Overall great ethnic experience, totally recommended!
Not only for the signature pork dish, sea bass plate far our expectation! Friendly staff members assist you even if you are unfamiliar with Equadrian cuisine.
A delightful Ecuadorian restaurant in Islington, London that was a pleasing eating experience. The food was interesting and very nicely presented (pottery dishes, traditional woven cloths on the table). We shared ceviche with fried plantains and then the weekend barbeque special -- certainly enough for two people. The serving staff were very attentive and helpful, making good recommendations. The bill was reasonable (around £35 for meal and drinks) but they accepted the Gourmet Club card which cut the price to £25. We'll be back.
A lovely welcoming restaurant with fabulous food. So good that I visited twice in one week! The ceviches are the best I've had in the UK, and the Vieiras con Ají Amarillo are fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Panza de Cerdo, crispy pork belly on a bed of sweet potato was tasty, but I much preferred the flavours of the Pollito a la Brasa. The fig dessert is excellent but beaten hands down by the quinoa pudding.
Fantastic Food, really unique flavours. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and even though it was a Tiesday night, the atmosphere was lovely. Our waitress was very friendly, helped us to decide on dishes and explained each dish. The food was unlike anything I've ever tasted and my boyfriend and I couldn't help but stuff ourselves. The seabass ceviche is a must and the quinoa pudding dessert is something you won't find anywhere else. The head chef, Jorge, came and spoke to us after the meal and gave us more information on his inspiration for the dishes. It was a perfect evening.
Very good food and staff were very attentive and knowledgable. I would recommend this place to anyone. The pisco sour cocktails were amazing!!! Thank you.
The food is brilliant , service good however I have a gourmet membership which offers 25% OFF from total bill including drinks however they refused to apply the discount on drinks which was very dissapointing. Otherwise the food was good and the Spanish waiteresess was great. Only my issue they have no clue what offered in gourmet. That's why I scored them low
Fantastic pisco sours and the food was great too - I don't remember having ecuadorian food before, but it certainly tasted like authentic Peruvian, I guess they are very similar cuisines!
We had a lovely time at this charming restaurant. The fish dishes in particular were excellent. The service was attentive and reasonably quick. We will be back!
Great food and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Truly recommend it. The waitresses was really helpful and welcoming and there is a vast array of yummy dishes to choose from!
