Excellent service, accommodated us with 1 extra guest even though fully booked. Stuff very freindly and welcoming, and food absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back!!!
Superb food, service and location. Breadth of choice is excellent and the quality of the food is 1st class. Meal choice assistance is actively offered and the staff constantly seek to get the best for the customer. Attentive without being over-bearing.
Having read a number of stories about diners being rushed to leave, our experience was completely different. We booked table for 2 for Saturday at 8:30. The restaurant was buzzing in a very positive way. OK, we had to wait 15 minutes for our table, but no problem with that as we were served drinks while we waited, before being taken to our table overlooking the river. Our waiter was Ali (Excellent in every way) and the meal was both well presented and delicious. We left just after 10:30, there was no rush, in fact quite the opposite, we were asked if we would like a break between courses, which we had and which made the evening all the more enjoyable. We will certainly be returning in the not too distant future.
Sat down for our meal at 1900 hrs. West facing table with full sun in my eyes. Unable to see the menu, had to walk to the foyer in order to select my menu choice - Back at the table, when our starter arrived I was faced with having to eat my food with a hand over my eyes to see what I was eating! - A waiter then asked if we were enjoying our meal, to which I answered 'I think your establishment need invest in a set of blinds on your waterfront facing windows' at which the waiter burst into laughter' ... I'd rather not say what my response was - The food was excellent - the experience was not. Graham Robinson
You must book in advance, and this is easily accomplished online. We were seated on time and found the food and service at Bombay Quay to be excellent as was the ambience. I look forward to going back soon.
Shaky start when theyou didn't have us booked in although I had booked online and received confirmation by email, but they did find our booking eventually so all good. We had a table to accommodate a baby with us, food was excellent and the service too, my only observation was that it was very noisy in the restaurant menu not music just talking but did seem very loud, we couldn't heare each other on our table for 6, but apart from that it was first class,
The staff were really nice, very attentive and recommended food. The food was really good and arrived quickly. Prices are very reasonable. Would go again
Food ok if a little harsh. Had better curries locally. Staff very hospitable. Also dishes are quite expensive especially if you have the 'specials' although portions are quite big. Would I go back? Possibly but I wouldn't rush.
Very friendly to young children at early mid week evening dinner. Good meal as always, lovely fresh naan. Special effort made for birthday, Thanks we will be back again soon.
Our 4th visit to this great restaurant. The staff and food are amazing. We have booked in again in 2 weeks time. Fantastic place to impress with friends in Northwich
Bombay Quay is a lovely restaurant with a great ambiance and fantastic food. Service was good despite it being very busy. Will definitely be returning.
It was my Husband and Grandaughters Birthday. As soon as we walked we were made really welcome. They had decorated the Table with a Birthday Garland and Balloons. It was so thoughtful of them. The meal was amazing nothing was too much trouble for them. They even sang Happy Birthday to them. All in all a really great Night for all of us.
This was our first experience of the Bombay Quay. To be honest it is probably not the best time to formulate an opinion. It was the week before Christmas and the restaurant had only recently opened so on two accounts it was very very popular/busy. In my opinion tables were too close which meant that staff delivering food were constantly brushing past you as you ate. Food was not at its best. It arrived at the table warm rather than hot with elements appearing to have been prepared earlier in bulk rather than fresh. We WILL go again but at a quieter period where Im sure our experience will (hopefully) be a far better one. On the positive plenty of staff on duty, lovely surroundings.
Excellent service staff were lovely and the food was amazing. We would definitely recommend Bombay quay and will certainly be returning with our friends and family.
The most amazing food, beautiful restraunt and staff were so welcoming friendly and helpful will definitely be returning, amazing value for money, had a great experience
Excellent food and atmosphere. Made birthday special with a cocktail and firework. Curry tasty and starters were excellent. Visited with family and friends and will go again.
the staff were great the food was great drinks were on time and the food was very good we will be back soon thank you
Brilliant service, food and friendly staff. Lovely setting too. Celebrated 3 birthdays in a party of 14 and they really couldn't do enough for you.
The food was excellent, the service was great always someone at hand if required, we will be returning there again soon. Best curry in the local area.
Really nice atmosphere, the food was very tasty. We have had takeaway previously, first time sitting down for meal. Would recommend and def go again.
Great food and service. Nice setting. Would have liked some vegan options as well as vegetarian. Overall a good experience and will no doubt visit again.
Excellent food, service and surroundings. First visit with our 2 year old and she loved every minute. Chicken korma, madras and garlic chicken were amazing.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was excellent. The restuarant was the highest quality and it was very easy to park our car.
visited with my grandson. we had a good evening, lovely surroundings, great meal and good service. i had sea bass which was excellent. we will be booking another visit very soon.
Delicious food excellent service by friendly courteous staff combined with a great ambience.although this was our first visit it will certainly not be our laste,
Beautiful restaurant, good value, quality ingredients .polite staff and friendly. Hope they continue to keep this up and carry out their plans for the future.
Nothing good to say about the experience. Food was poor: over cooked, reheated and tasteless. Service was totally lack lustre: couldn't even be bothered to see who ordered and what to out the right plates in front of the right people. No-one asked how our meal was, no offer of dessert, no hot towels and no-one even bothered to say goodbye as we left. It'll be be back the The Indian, half a mile up the road, next time.
Very good value for money .All staff were very polite and helpful with good advice of on the menu..looking forward to another meal here with friends .
Great range of food available and good size proportions, service was very good and staff are friendly and polite. Family of 4 went on a Thursday evening and there were tables available but we booked in advance.
It was very busy but despite that, the customer service provided was excellent. They catered for all of our needs and went above and beyond in their service to make us feel valued as customers.
Professional service and nice meals but wasn't that spicy and missed the taste of my main meal. Expected to be more tasteful and authentic. Generally I was happy with but rather average than exceptional.
Excellent excellent and excellent. The service, the food and the ambiance were amazing The best Indian in the area. The restuarant that everyone is talking about Thank you
Can't fault them in any way! Fresh, quality ingredients made a delicious meal. Lovely surroundings and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend but make sure you book as they get very busy!
Excellent food friendly service definitely going back. Waiter recommended us a dish as we explained what we liked and was realy nice ....palace was very busy but still had time to chat and wasn't expansive..
Very good food excellent service good value will be going again. Modern new venue staff very attentive. Very clean good selection on the menu. And clean toilets as well!
Staff very rude to our table when we asked for a spare "clean " plate.....food ok but not brilliant and you were made to feel that others were waiting for your table
Exceptional food, really well cooked and friendly staff combined to make a nice night out. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Also, the curries come in a natural heat that is sufficient to enjoy, none of this "wimpy until you convince them it's hot" rubbish.
Food was really good. Waiting staff were charming and very helpful. However we got the impression that they were trying to get us in and out as fast as possible.
Slow service, but reasonable price. Food quality and taste is not great, but probably better than many in the area. Not sure if I will go there again.
Lovely meal, great service, & friendly staff, room is decorated to perfection, didn't have to wait too long even though it was busy i will be visiting again soon.
It would be better to have one waiter rather than lots of different ones repeating questions already asked. Food excellent . Third visit and quality is consistent
Lovely new place, Staff were brilliant. The food was fresh and tasty, would have liked hotter but will ask for hotter next time so easily fixed. Really good and we'll be back.
Could not rate highly enough the service received. The whole meal was excellent. Best naan bread ever. We will definitely return again to Bombay Quay.
Fantastic food and great service will definitely be going back for more, very attentive waiting on staff nothing too much trouble, generous portions of gorgeous food.
The food was excellent could not be faltered. Went there to celebrate my two daughters birthdays and there were no complaints from any of the six that attended.
Food and service excellent, especially given it was very busy. Only downside was that it was a bit noisy. The first few times we have been have been on quieter nights, and we will favour those in future.
Had been trying to book a table for weeks so was looking forward to finally going.Great atmosphere. Excellent food and friendly staff. Can't wait to go again.
A Friday night at Bombay Quay is very busy. Our table had been booked for 7.30pm but we didn't get seated until 7.50pm, and the waiting area was packed. Once sat down the service was good as usual - fascinating to see 4 waiters lay the table in about a minute! The food was excellent, It can't be faulted. Obviously on a busy evening it can be pretty noisy, and the repeated birthday music and song did interrupt our conversations several times, but all in all we had a fab meal. Such a joy to have a quality restaurant here in Northwich - finally! No question in our minds that they should expand into the empty space next door - they would easily fill it.
Really tasty food - freshly cooked. The tandoori mixed grill was juicy and flavoursome. The service was good too, polite and friendly but not intrusive. We will definitely return.
Great food, great service. A little noisy but it was Saturday night! Will return asap to continue exploring the menu. Very welcome addition to Northwich's otherwise poor restaurant offer.
