Bombay Quay

considering there wasnt many people in the restaurant quite a few things went wrong , weve been coming to bombay quay for years and never had a bad experience , but this one sure made up for it , the popadoms came out wrong there was supposed to be 2 each for 3 of us only 5 came out , no problem another one came out , then my 2 x brothers mains came out and mine was supposed to follow it was my birthday after all , 15 mins later i had to call them over and asked where my main was , OMG said the chap who was dealing with us i will go n check , another 5 mins later out came my meal coldish and the lamb chops had no meat on them just fat , in the mean time my brothers byriani, he only had 2 x sml peices , by this time i think they realised stuff just wasnt going right , they offered my brother a take home byriani as a replacement , i however they ignored , it upset me but my brothers said it was a birthday treat and they would pay for it , however i will not be returning anytime soon l have never been so dissappointed in this place , hope it doesnt happen to anyone else!!!!

As usual the food was excellent, very tasty, plenty of it and served by staff who enjoy their work. An overall great experience.

Proposed to my girlfriend and the service couldn’t have been better!! Brought out extra sparkles and free drinks, played a song when I proposed that fitted the moment perfectly, couldn’t have asked for better!!! The best service I’ve ever experienced in my life!! Thank you boys!!

Great night out to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Shown to our reserved table straight away and the service was fantastic. Starters arrived whilst we were still finishing our popadoms but no big issue. Nice space between starter and main, and food was flavoursome and plenty of it. Liked the touch with the dry ice too. Funky. We are new to the Northwich area, but we will be back here for sure.

The food was delicious and the service excellent. The restaurant was very busy but we didn't have to wait long for our food. My only quibble was that out table was next to the toilets.

We just love this place. A “go to” restaurant for many in Northwich. Consistently good and consistently prepared. Also caters for specific dietary requirements. No need to go anywhere else. Staff are lovely too!

Once again an amazing meal with superb service and except food. Good value for money and a great choice of traditional and special dishes makes this the ideal choice for an Indian meal in Northwich. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
