This is the first time I've been here but I was impressed with the service. We were served by a very attentive waitress. The food was good value for money. As we were going to The museum this was an ideal location for lunch. I will be back.

Quiet midweek evening visit, but the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food ordered at our pace and was brought to table quickly, and hot 👍. The restaurant has a relaxing friendly feel to it, open street corner location with huge windows but still felt cosy. A lovely enjoyable family meal experience.

Friendly helpful staff. Food average - steak was tough, tomato was just seared on one surface and not cooked through.

It was ok. Had a steak which was fine but the soup was more starch than corn and had a hair in it! The Apple pie for dessert was also ok only. Pity given the good location, cleanliness and atmosphere was good too.

Great experience price was good food was good and fast but we did wait around 15/20 minutes for a drink to come once ordered.

Good service the staff are very friendly food ok typical pub grub I had the chicken with haggis only got mash no veg. My son had the steak which was ok for the price. Overall good experience would return

Great 18th birthday meal for my daughter. Staff very attentive serving 9 of us. Starters and Steaks both fab. Cocktails- yum. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back.

I tried to reserve a table but didn't receive a confirmation email. However, luckily we found a table. I enjoyed the fish and chips, although there was rather too much batter on the fish. The drinks were reasonably priced. Overall, it was good.

Good place, warm and spacious. The service was nice and we went for the lunch deal (£8 for 2 courses) which was decent enough for the price. Would recommend.

Excellent food a special mention for the fish and chips a whale of fish cooked beautifully and crisp. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only slight fault decor looks dark tired and a bit dated.

Food was decent, Place was infested with flies and staff need to find something to do other then stand at the bar and chat. Also need to not spray cleaning product on tables when people are trying to eat...that was the height of rudeness...only thing saving this review was the food tbh

Lovely food and a lovely atmosphere. The only criticism I have is that the drinks took a long time to be served, particularly soft drinks which we found to be odd as there didn't appear to be a reason for it.

Great food and service as always. Better to sit upstairs in the back area if you want to hear conversation as it can be noisy downstairs.

Table was all set and ready for us well in advance as we arrived a little early. Meal was very good, service quick and friendly and excellent value for money.

Food average pub grub. Lots of floor staff but not much attention given to their customers. Maybe just a bad night? Got very loud with music just before we left at 7pm

The food was good quality and value for money. The staff were very friendly and efficient. They were also attentive without being intrusive. Toilets very clean.

Terrible didn’t get our food as women tried to order then she tried to make us pay for our drinks when we had specificly said we had the theatre so then didn’t have time to have a meal so ruined our whole evening

food was good and the watiress serving us had great chat. Probably one of the better places for good price and good quality in Edinburgh city centre.

Great food, good service as always although we were sitting next to the back window and there was a terrible draft coming in. Had to wrap my coat around my shoulders Brrrr!

Biblos is a cool place to enjoy food drinks and music. Staff is welcoming, friendly, they give you advice on what specialty is there, whether a gourmet burger, an enjoyable starter or a craft beer. One of my favourites and it's just a few steps from royal mile. Highly recommend

Good choice. Meals delicious, especially the salmon. Daughter had the nachos with chilli. Portion was huge. Consider sharing! Friendly helpful staff too. Only downside, it's quite a trek to the toilet. Will definitely go back again.

Enjoyed a really lovely night out at biblos. We had our Christmas night out, full three course dinner which was very good and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend
