Love this place so much. Staff always brilliant. Regular here. Amazing food
Wonderful place to eat and meet friends. Staff so nice and food lovely
This is a usual restaurant or cafe I did go every week now
Lovely as always great staff and lovely atmosphere:) see you soon
Lovely little place to visit with friends and family. Staff are well trained and never had any complaints about service waiting times or food quality
Great place to visit and eat. Friendly staff and friendly atmosphere
A wonderful place to visit when in the area. The staff are friendly and the food is outstanding
Food and service great as always. Il be back ;)
Great visit as always, nice food and friendly staff :)
Always a pleasure to visit this place food is amazing
Great as always will be returning again. Fab staff :)
Ambiance was cosy , perfect for small groups, highly recommended
I was allowed to book a table on your website and drove to the cafe only for it to be closed when we arrived: complete waste of trip.
Great freakshakes! Lovely sandwich and chips as well. Staff lovely.
Had a lovely sandwich and my friend enjoyed their nachos.
Great food and quick service, would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere quirky to try.
Friendly cosy delicious cheap great value for money highly recommend
Food was delicious and came really quickly. It was served on a slate though and was quite hard to eat.
Everything was perfect. Crowd starts pouring in after 10am so it did be beneficial to book in advance. Love their concept of having a Rubik cube one each table for the guest to solve whilst waiting to be served :)
Amazing food and great service! My favourite place for breakfast!!
Booked a table for my Daughters 14th Birthday. Sat down on really low couches could not read the menu then ordered 2 beers only to be told thet sold out the evening before due to a party?? Really not good enough so left.
Food was tasty as usual and service was fast. The Nutella mocha was just a mocha and a very bitter one at that. Was expecting the taste of Nutella, but the sweetness was no where to be found. We all enjoyed our meals, even though my fried egg yolks on my breakfast were hard. Will return again
It was ok overall. I asked for my egg on my breakfast muffin to be hard cooked and it came runny. I hate runny eggs to the point it makes me feel nauseous so, I had 2 bites and left it. The waitress came over after everyone finished and asked how the food was. I explained the situation with the egg and she said she would knock it off the bill, which was fine as a resolution. However, she told the lady on the counter what happened and she stated "If it was such an issue, why didn't I come over and say something?". Firstly, noone came over to ask how the meal was until everyone (except me) were finished. 2. They were too busy overall for me to get up and raise the issue 3. Having worked in the food industry, I'm aware that servers should ask how the food is around 10 minutes after its been served and not when its the end of the meal, regardless. I would have been fine and left it at not paying for the wrong order owever, the poor attitude from that one member of staff is really off putting for myself and the other members of my party so, I would not attend there again due to the unprofessionalism shown.
Quiet when we arrived for breakfast at 10am in a Sunday. Service incredibly fast, plates are huge so definitely worth it. Staff very friendly. My only concern was they gave us a shot glass with peanut m&ms in but didn’t specifically say they were peanut.
We enjoyed our visit to Barley and Beans, the staff were very friendly, the service was extremely quick and the food was well presented and delicious
The best French toast I have ever had! The staff were lovely and we had an excellent brunch. Would definitely come back if were in the area.
This place is a little gem. Excellent food, friendly staff, and the most amazing freakshakes!
Staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Food was done so fast and the staff couldn’t do enough. Definitely will be returning again Kids loved it
Good venue for brunch and reasonably priced. Really tasty food and super friendly staff. I advise to book of a weekend as it does get busy.
lovely food, good portions and served very quick however.. not very clean.. stained soft furnishings, toilets very grimy with lock missing off the door and right nextdoor to the rather small kitchen, on the way past the kitchen noted cook/kitchen assistant sat on food prep area using mobile phone with blue food prep gloves on, the friendly one of the two servers spilt the shot of peanut MM’s on the grimy serving tray and then with fingers lifted one by one back into the glass and then preceded to serve them anyway 😖 Disappointing to find no longer serving bubble waffles or pancakes won’t be going back ☹️
Staff could not do more for you. Service spot on. Griendly attentive but not intrusive. Foid, fresh, generous portiions and beautiful. Freshshakes, fabulously outrageous. Worth a visit for these alone. Sugar and cake overload but look like an art masterpiece and taste as good. Group took a friend for her birthday and what a fuss was made. Great value for money. Just a really cosy lovely restaursnt. Coild not fault
Excellent place. Nice atmosphere. Milkshakes are something else...... don't order any food with one. Eggs royale was lovely but poached eggs a little overdone. Overall, great!
great food and fast service friendly and helpful staff. getting a freak shake is a must if u go plus the main meals are very big and value for money
Amazing food and great cocktails. Definitely book a table as it's a small place and very popular. Will be going back to try the other freakshakes.
Great atmosphere Will definitely be back when next in Liverpool
It’s was good nice milkshakes! And atmosphere staff where very helpful
Really friendly and helpful (part?) Asian waitress, she was great. Big guy behind the counter was brilliant when our son was feeling unwell. Thank you
See went for a milkshake before going to the theatre. The friendly staff were quick to come to the table but went pushy and we didn't wait long for the shakes I would recommend it.
Really friendly staff, beautiful food, cool ambience. Only missed 6 points for minor things which aren’t worth mentioning here. Will definitely be going again. ..........oh yeah, AWESOME FREAKSHAKES!
Lovely staff, quick service, however our food wasn’t the best. The eggs were over cooked and the Corn dog cold. If you are looking for great pancakes and milkshakes this is the place for you because they were exceptional!
Really fab menu, and great food, unfortunately we had really rubbish service due to completely uninterested staff so food and drinks took an age to come and was a struggle to get and pay the bill
Lovely food but the service was slow and there was a lack of attentiveness. We felt ignored at times but couldn’t fault our food there
We were looking for something to do with our 8 year old son. My sister recommended this place. Great atmosphere. Lovely food. Excellent Freakshakes. A fun afternoon was had by all!
Great service nice food staff very friendly absolutely out standing price for food Quality of foods were amazing Drinks were fairly priced and really nice
Excellent food and really good service. Went on our lunch break and food came out really fast so had time to eat it. Would recommend.
There was only one thing stopping this being a 6. There were beer flies floating around us as we ate. As soon as we'd swat one away another would be flying around us
Great little place, brunch was good and freak shakes looked amazing. Slight miscommunication between staff meant we were unable to order what we wanted despite it being available, but the owner was very accommodating and kind about it
Wow my wife and I enjoyed the most delicious food with starter of calamari and pork & leek meatballs, roast dinner as a main which was huge we had no room for desert. On arrival the staff welcomed us and gave us advise regarding menu. The atmosphere was lovely, will be returning. Also if you like milk shakes they looked amazing. Well done to all at Hatton Garden Liverpool
The food service is average with not much options but milkshake look incredible and taste good. However, the staff is not very friendly and helpful
I went for breakfast and milkshakes the food was excellent, friendly and great service. The milkshake was one of the best I have ever had.
