Nice place to eat, lacked atmosphere on the Thursday though
Chicken dishes were lovely, lamb dishes poor. Service was good and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere. One of the best curries in the West End.
Excellent service. Perfect table. Very attentive staff. Very reasonably priced food and wine. Will definitely return for celebeations with all my family and friends as well as work colleagues.
Excellent service, excellent food and excellent wine. Will certainly return on many more occasions for birthday and graduation celebrations with family and friends in the future.
Great food, great service, great prices. Highly recommended. This was my second visit and the experience was every bit as good as the first visit. Well done to all the staff for a very enjoyable evening.
Best ever peshwari naan! Lovely vegetarian dishes and sweet lassi, very attentive and helpful staff, all in all a perfect Indian meal out, will definitely come back
Very attentive staff. Huge portions and lovely tasting food. It was a Saturday night but it was quite quiet, this meant the service was excellent.
Been once before and will definitely be back. Superb freshly prepared Indian dishes that are very taste with lovely friendly staff that make for a lovely relaxing atmosphere.
Great food, great service .. one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Glasgow. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice relaxed night out for curry
Excellent service. Excellent table. Music not too loud. Food very tasty. Fine wonderful. Excellent company. Reasonably priced. Will inform others about the restaurant and suggest they try it for themselves.
Haven't been here for over a year but it was great to be back. Great buffet and excellent value. Good to see Dillon again and hope to be back soon!
Haggis Lakota was perfect followed by a lovely lamb garlic chilli. Minor point website said pre theatre was £9.95 But it cost £11.95. Update your site.
Good food. Good service. Great price for the buffet. I would recommend the buffet (we dined on Saturday lunchtime) for a quick lunch when you have other things to be getting on with. Overall would recommend. Remember this is a good value lunch. If you are looking for anything more ( with Champagne) then look elsewhere.
Amazing food, service was amazing and I couldn’t fault it! Will be back. Would recommend the veg curry and the naans were to die for!
Great place but the guy tried to bump us with the menu, said we couldn’t get the set menu but we could
Restaurant was buzzing ! Friendly, courteous staff and delicious food! Definitely worth a visit. No criticisms whatsoever! Will definitely return in the very near future ....
Wow.....the best Indian meal I have had for a long time. Small atmospheric restaurant, and such great value too. One not to miss. Will visit again.
Delicious food - good menu to choose from - attentive staff - pleasant surroundings in heart of West End with taxis handy outside. To be recommended.
Great meal and very efficient and friendly service. Would recommend the South Indian Garlic Chilli Chivken. Ww are all looking forward to the next visit.
The food was excellent and the service was exceedingly prompt and friendly. The staff were, without exception, helpful. If there was anything to fault it was that the service was a little too prompt at times, but the staff were nonetheless considerate with it.
Super delicious ! Nice and friendly staff. Waiting time for the food was short and Service good. Would reccomend this Indian Restaurant to many friends.
Super meal and lovely staff Very impressed We were a party of 6 All enjoyed it and will return Nice bright restaurant beside the subway and Ashton lane What more could you want
Had a very pleasant evening. Great company, Delicious Food and Excellent Service.
Amazing staff. Friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the food. Great food. Ideally located as well along Byres Road. Definitely recommend to any Indian cuisine lovers!!!
Went with my daughter as had heard good reviews about it as she studies at the university. Asked to prepare the food desi style and it was delicious. Friendly staff. Definitely go back.
Excellent food and service, overall very good, great location and great value for money 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁
A fine curry in a pleasant atmosphere. The place was not that busy for a Friday night. Service was good, as was our food. We'd go back.
we were a party of six and each of us enjoyed everything we ate. Food was lovely and the staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.
This was our 1st time in the restaurant, we were seated upstairs and felt it could be upgraded. The food was ok, the chicken Pakora was a bit dry, the accompanying sauce was nice but the tiny dish was certainly not enough. We also felt rushed with our meal.
The food was lovely and the staff were great although we had a little wait.We wouud definitely go back again and give it seven out of ten.
Great meal and great service, it was delicious. We had the pre theatre menu and it was great value for money, will certainly visit again
Fast service the mushrooms in the pakora were a little too big which meant they weren't cooked fully through. Everything else was very good and tasty Nan was lovely and light
Décor looked nice. Ordered 2 Cobras on draught one arrived. Second one appeared had things floating in it - sent it back and it was replaced. Interesting menu. Ordered lamb chops as a starter to share after a wait we were told there was none so ordered kangaroo to share instead. Then they both arrived. Starters including the one we did not want, were okay but not great. Mains were good and we got a large garlic nan which was lovely. We were not offered desert menu it was after 10 and we were last upstairs and got the impression they want to clear upstairs. Bill had the 2 starters on it we could not be bothered arguing.
Fantastic restaurant, the food was amazing (both starters and main course) the starter portion size was perfect, and the main course was very generous! Service was served with a smile, will definitely return
Took my fiance here for his birthday as he loves Indian food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made a dish my fiance wanted that was not on the menu and the waiter advised me on my choice for my main course as I don't have a lot of experience with Indian food. Everything was delicious and the food was brought quickly. The waiter even gave us free ice cream when he found out it was my fiances birthday. We had such a great time and will be going back for sure.
Nice starter. Waited way too long for main courses although the food tasted nice when it eventually arrived. The staff were friendly and the plus side was a 20% NHS discount. The restaurant was freezing cold as the entrance door leads straight into restaurant. Quite a few customers were cold around us. The toilets are downstairs which are " fire escape" style stairs and quite tricky after a few drinks. We had a 5 o'clock booking and arrived an hour early which was not a problem for them which was good also. 4/6 seems fair as the positives were better than the negative. That said I couldn't stand the cold again so would go back.
Friendly helpful staff and delicous food. Very reasonably priced and online reservation was a breeze. Try Scotlands' hottest curry if you're brave enough , or mad enough !!!
Great food and service and great value for money. Looking forward to new branch opening in Dumbarton. Will definitely visit again in the near future
We had the buffet lunch. Very good selection of dishes. Very good quality and value. We will certainly go there again and recommend it to friends.
Food was delicious with a great menu and service was excellent, even on a busy Friday night. We enjoyed it very much and we'll be back again soon!
We visited Masala twist with friends! Great food authentic cooking! Great service and friendly staff! Set next to hill head subway station it's easy to get too well worth a visit.
Excellent food, friendly staff and reasonable price. Great location right next to Hillhead subway. Clean and tidy restaurant. Madras was hotter than the Ashoka. Would recommend this place as an alternative to the Ashoka.
First time dining at Masala Twist. My good lady and I had Masala Tokri and Fish Pakora between us for starters, which were both delicious (esp. the Fish Pakora!) For mains we enjoyed a Lamb Rogan Josh and a Murgh Jalfrezi with Saffron Rice and a plain naan (which was enormous!) Interspersed with Cobra beer, a most enjoyable evening was had. Portions were more than satisfactory, as we were both stuffed! Service was prompt and polite. Overall, we both had a lovely time and will definitely be returning :)
Great food and very attentive staff. Lovely warm atmosphere, this was my first visit and was really impressed. We will definately be back to visit soon.
The food and service were quite good. It was not as good as my 1st visit, but very good nonetheless. I definitely will return soon.
Very attentive staff made our meal very enjoyable. Had the pre-theatre meal and the food was just as good as it normally is. Can't fault it.
The menu is great with some interesting new items. We had a lovely meal, with good service. Very handy for transport. My friend and I will definitely be back again.
Fantastic! The food is really delicious (and excellent value too). I eat at Masala Twist West End quite regularly, and would definitely recommend it. :-)
Lovely restaurant with great food and very nice staff. We had a lot of food. Portions were good and the naan breads including the peshwari was brilliant.
