Food was wonderful...asalways. Service was a bit sketchy, which typically isn't the case. They were busy, but felt we needed to "find" the waitress when we needed something.

Great tapas. Very good friendly service. Sitting outsise on sunny day. What more could be better? A total ban on smokers would make things perfect for outside area. Thanks

we enjoyed a really good lunch at Zitto yesterday - very tasty food, an unusually fine expresso (Italian expresso is invariably - and regrettably - merely warm, not hot), efficient table service and friendly staff.

On entering the restaurant we were greeted with a friendly lady who arranged a different table to the one allocated without any fuss. Food was really good and the staff excellent. The 3 of us really enjoyed our evening. Would recommend.

The service we received was so poor. A lot of mistakes were made and no one apologised. Overall has put me off from ever going back!!

Excellent food, really good service even though the restaurant was very busy. We all had pizzas as a main and thoroughly enjoyed them. Desserts are a must.

Service was good, staff bright and cheery. A very big and varied menu,something on it for everybody. We both enjoy a good pasta and liked the fact we were able to choice both the size and the sauce and at our age prefer to have penne, much easier to eat. Service and food and wine excellent. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend to go for lunch or dinner. We sat in the wine bar where you can watch the world go by on a sunny day. The restaurant in the back is also great, especially for evening tapas or dinner.

Food was great. Service was spot on. Would definitely go back again. There was a large table of around 20, as well as other smaller tables through the back. Service to our table was spot on. Never neglected, someone available if we needed more drinks. Waiting time was not compromised for the larger table.

The food and service were fantastic. Unfortunately there were lots of really big groups dinning the night we were there, so it was impossible to hear what people on our table were saying. We had to leave straight after our main course.

Lovely lunch and good service , not rushed in the slightest. Reasonably priced and small portions available. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Had 6 different tapas dishes, all were delicious but Roman risotto was particularly good. Service was excellent and our young waiter was particularly helpful with his recommendations. Would definitely go back when in North Berwick again.

I think the food is good but it’s a bit tired, especially in the back restaurant. Maybe some soft music would help to detract from the noise from other tables. Staff are pleasant but not always attentive.

This visit was a real treat for my wife and I. From starters to sweets it was by far the best Italian meal I've had. The staff were very pleasant and very professional. Clean efficient pleasant service, Took my 2 Grandchildren of 6 and 4 for lunch and we all had a great time. Food was delicious , huge choices , very child friendly and enormous portions.

A good menu with lots to choose from. Friendly attentive staff. Delicious food served in a timely manner Good ambiance. Cosy wine bar style at front leading through to larger restaurant area at back with room for larger tables.

Amazing from start to finish! I will definately be a returning customer. I would advise to book in advance online or phone especially at weekends as it was quite busy. Meal for 2, with whitebait and parma, melon and mozzarella for starters and lasagne and carbonara for mains. Food was exceptional, quality of ingredients were good, portion sizes great(I'm not one for a small plate) timings were excellent bringing out food and staff were friendly 😊 the only downside is it is quite noisy open plan in the restaurant. Maybe some booths or partitions would be great.

The tapas lunch menu, 3 for £14.50 is great value for money. We have been a few times now and have never had a bad meal.

Great food, service was good too. Didn't stay for deserts but had both starters and mains. Wine list looked extensive but unfortunately was driving so I didn't sample any. Will definitely come back again.

As always, great food and drink in a relaxing setting. Front bar area was cold as the door was always opening with guests. I prefer sitting in the restaurant

A lovely welcome to a very nice restaurant. It was a set menu for New Years Eve. Antipasti was delicious as was starters however the spaghetti was a bit bland the prawns were delicious. Cranachan was ok not great. Coffees wines and tablet gorgeous. We were finished by 10.30 so weren’t hanging around for the ‘bells’. We seemed to be the only table not automatically given our complimentary or included Prosecco so asked for it. We would go back though but not on New Year’s Eve and strangely enough avoid spaghetti.

This was my second visit to zittos and it was fantastic once again. Excellent fresh food and great service. Cant wait to return for my 3rd visit

Service was very good & our servers very pleasant. Once we’d ordered we didn’t have too long to wait before both drinks & food arrived at the table. We’d all ordered from the Tapas selection & everything was very enjoyable. Can recommend the Rice Balls & the battered Jumbo Prawns & the cocktail from the board - Zitto Mimisa

1st time I’ve been always heard good things and it was not a disappointment. Service was fantastic, Food was amazing as was the price as we both had 3 courses. The haggis Bon bons starter and meat balls pasta was amazing then I forced myself a pudding which was awesome even if I felt like a whale afterwords. Stunning place and will be back.
