Zen Japanese & Oriental Restaurant

Really enjoyable visit to try out the Sunday buffet. A decent range of sushi and some great hot dishes as well (loved the teriyaki duck!)

Buffet on Sunday (al a carte available). Lovely sushi mixed with chinese style dishes. Amazing as always.

Always enjoy our evening here. Lovely food & helpful staff. Good price, especially if you go for the tasting menu/evening buffet. Try from the menu as much as you like - Starters, Mains & deserts including coffee. Never had a bad meal & I've been going here since it first opened 😋

Very tasty as ever. Had the set lunch menu which is decent value. Love the seaweed salad. Spicy beef noodles also great. Would definitely recommend.

Zen has a very nice and welcoming staff, huge portions. Probably the best sushi place around Southampton, would definitely recommend to anyone who loves sushi. Try their special rolls!

Really tasty food. Generous portions. Seaweed salad is a real favourite. Only criticism is they automatically add a 10% service charge - service is good, but it should be discretionary.

The food was tasty, with a big selection to choose from. The service was prompt, and the staff were very friendly. Would go back again.

Valentine's consisted of a set meal that was 30pound per person, was a shame was hoping for a buffet. Will try next time on a normal day

Have never had anything but a fantastic experience at Zen, and we've been going there a handful of times a year for 10 years now. One of our American friends once described it as "the best Japanese restaurant​ in the world!".

Great food; good atmosphere. Buffet menu very well priced. A favourite! And very attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us on the night. Love this place.
