Very cramped.Seemed to be alot of staff and at one point five members where setting up one table rather than seating customers. Lovely food though.

We used Ye Olde Punchbowl as a halfway point to meet up with friends last Tuesday night and I looked for pubs in and around Bridgnorth - we couldn't have found a better place to visit! The service was excellent, both friendly and helpful and the food was spot on and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend (and have already!) this pub, and we will be returning!

Great pub in a great location. Carvery was super with a choice of 4 meats and my daughter was happy you could help yourself to Yorkshire puddings. Only request would have been mash potatoes.

We visit the Punchbowl regularly and have always been pleased with the food and the service. Whilst visiting on Easter Sunday the food was as always, beautiful, however the service was really poor which surprised us. We waited half an hr for a dessert menu, but appreciated that they were very busy so we were patient and asked again. Shortly after this Gareth quite abruptly told us we only had 10 minutes left on the table. We left shortly after, a few of us waited outside whilst whilst the bill was settled, a few people were coming and going and someone had left the door open , Gareth then came to the door and slammed it shut in anger without saying anything. Usually we are always happy with our visits here however the service has now put us off.

Lovely hot food. Portions of meat not as good today. Pleasant calm atmosphere. Pity the queue at the bar was so long because a barrel needed changing. No non-alcoholic beer available but ginger beer was excellent. Thank you.

Lovely meal, but slow service which does not accord with previous experiences. Staff were polite & knowledgeable but service was slow when the restaurant was not massively busy.

Welcoming staff showed us to our table. Staff at bar friendly and a jug of water sent to table before we had made it back from ordering drinks. Carvery looked good, plenty of choice in both meat and vegetables. Food was delicious. Staff friendly throughout all of the visit.

A quaint well established country pub that spans back centurys, the punch bowl oozes comfort and tradition with well mannered friendly informative staff...,it has good quality affordable food with a heartily prepared carvery to 'die for' thats cooked on a traditional agar oven viewable in the lounge/bar area..good wines are available as are traditional well poured beers, ales n ciders..the punch bowl appears to be a much loved historical pub, full of tradition, nostalgia and friendliness thats well worth a visit for whatever takes your fancy.

Looked forward to going to this place as we have heard such good reviews. The fact there were not many cars on the carpark on a saturday lunch seemed strange, but it turned out after we had our meal, we learned the owner was away and the chef that was on was dissappointing. We were left waiting 10 mins at the carvery before the chef came out of the kitchen, and the Roast beef, which we were looking forward to having, was small and looked dry. So we had Turkey, which was one slice and Ham which we were given plenty. The vegs needed to be topped up as there were not many of some and no Yorkshires, which came out half way through our meal. What we had was nice, it was just a shame the beef was not, for us to have tried it.

Very quiet lunch with my elderly Mother at the Punch Bowl / never been before presumably a quiet day due to the weather though and it was Wednesday lunch time. We had chicken gojons ( probably spelt incorrectly ) with salad to start followed by the carvery which was hot and delicious. Coffee to finish - drinks with our meal. Pleasant staff provided efficient service. Total bill 37 pounds which I thought was excellent - thank you Punch Bowl Inn we will come again!!!

Our meal was booked for the 4pm Sunday sitting and the restaurant was fully booked. There was plenty of food on offer, especially as there was a lot of people in front of us in the queue. Staff were re-filling the great selection of vegetables as the dishes were emptied and all the meats on offer were very tender. Staff were very friendly and helpful even though the restaurant was busy. Would definitely recommend.
