Decided to go here to celebrate our twin daughters 18th birthday. It's a lovely place, great food , great prices , really lovely staff

Felt a bit rushed, having to wait in a queue for the carvery with only having 1.50mins for the use of the table, by the time took orders for dessert and ate them We had 5 mins to spare,

Food was ok, meat was tender and plentiful, vegetables were a little tasteless, red cabbage was over sweet but overall would have the carvery there again

The food was lovely but more vegetables would of been better only peas carrots and cauliflower cheese we would of liked a bit more variety

We go regularly to the punch bowl, their food is exceptional, staff Chris and Charlotte are amazing, so friendly, we were a group of 10 and service was swift, the food was gorgeous the portion sizes for deserts and starters were really great value for money. Had a great time x 10

Love coming here for our Sunday lunch the carvery is the best we live in Telford and don’t mind travelling that extra mile for something worth having

Lovely pub with lovely friendly staff. We struggled with the menu a little and what I chose I wouldn't have again, but that is person preference. The carvery and other meals that our table had were of a high standard and we had a lovely evening over all.

Great selection of carvery, beef was had a fair amount of chewey gristle but the turkey was lovely. Overall a good meal.

Overall Sunday food good. Yorkshire puddings hard and I suspect cheap frozen ones.

Arrived there just before six,was shown to our table ordered some drinks,atmosphere was very good,we had a 3 course special, which was excellent, the staff were very helpful, thankyou, see you soon.

Excellent food, We had the early sitting at 12, the doors were not opened until a few minutes to twelve and when inside we were immediately told to vacate by 1.45, no problem but I think they should open at 11.30ish to allow people to get in, settle and order drinks at the bar, felt a little rushed from entry. I realise they have other sittings but allow people in 15 to 20 minutes early

My family and I have visited this place twice and both times we have has delicious food and yummy, indulgent puddings. We definitely recommend

Lovely to have lamb, veg ok, we are regulars at the sister pub, The Plough Far Forest which overall is better food and value

First timers having been recommended by family and couldn’t have been more lovely. We were seated straight away, queue for Carberry wasn’t too long and food lovely.

Lovely food but I do think the service could be better as the staff aren't very friendly at times. I get they are busy but friendly faces are key for customers wanting to return. Table was booked for 2PM we arrived after 2pm but the table wasnt ready, we didn't mind the wait though so not too much of an issue.
