Had a fantastic carvery this evening. Both of my children really enjoyed it too! the puddings were also fantastic. Highly recommend
Just perfect I need every way. The setting, the ambiance, hospitality and the food was wow
The carvary was delicious and the staff very friendly. Wonderful place for Sunday lunch.
Amazing value for money...the food was amazing! We chose 2 and 3 course meals as specials. The only negative we could possible think of is we weren't allowed to sit outside on such a hot evening, the pub was quite warm.
Fabulous food great value and the chef who serves the carvery is a lovely man. He always makes a big effort to accommodate you with whatever you need. Such a lovely place in beautiful surroundings.
Really good Sunday carvery, quick service. Would recommend and go again!
Great value for money, fabulous food and warm, friendly staff.
Great food, good service and pleasant staff. Nice place with lovely gardens.
First time visit excellent all round. Carvery delicious. Definitely returning
Excellent service, friendly staff and amazing food! Beautiful pub gardens too!
Excellent Service and quality. Highly recommended. Good value for money
Meat was dry and not much taste in the vegetables
Nice and quiet during the week, need to book early for weekends. Carvery very nice and plenty of it, well recommended.
a few noisy nchildren at next table but nice lunch
Excellent food and service. We were fed and watered all within an hour... excellent!
I wanted to treat my son & his knew wife who got married the day before, as they were married in derby and so drove me back home to Telford, to a nice meal, but before we sat down was told to finish before 4, I booked table for 2, didn't feel we had a nice time, so won't be in a hurry go go again
Fantastic food , and friendly staff and very helpful indeed.
Amazing food and helpful staff. Lovely place to eat .
Lovely cosy friendly pub! Survive is 10/10. can’t forget about the food it’s fantastic! Really enjoyed my visit.
Having been to this restaurant on several occasions, our last visit left us feeling disappointed. The lamb from the carvery was tough, although the other meats were fine. Sadly because there were very few other diners, the atmosphere was lacking.
Gorgeous food, including a delicious vegetarian option. Will definitely be back!
Can't give excellent because there is always room for improvement but really is an amazing place would highly recommend .
Staff always happy to help and food is great value for money *****
Excellent food , staff , surroundings and overall visit was great , highly recommendable
Good value, good food - a great place for lunch, thanks
best carvery I have had anywhere. don't miss if you can get in.
Couldn’t fault the food or the lovely setting just a bit disappointed because the lunchtime menu wasn’t on because it was bank holiday. Had to choose off the a la carte menu which wasn’t really what I wanted just for a lunchtime
Delicious carvery, desserts great and staff looked after us well.
Very good meal cooked to perfection staff very friendly nice clean restaurant
We have always enjoyed the punch bowl but today the food was not as good as normal. looked like it had been there sometime.

Celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary today with our dearest and dearly loved friends. The carvery was beautifully presented, everything cooked to perfection, fresh and very apertising...just excellent, the chef carved the meats spectacularly and generously (I love meat!) The staff were very patient, extremely charming and very helpful...nothing was too much trouble and the "special" apple crumble accounding to our two men folk was DELICIOUS.....we ladies were too full. And the bill unbelievable value. THANK YOU YE OLDE PUNCH BOWL we had a wonderful lunchtime with you.
Lovely food and great price. Staff a little slow at drinks though
Excellent evening to celebrate father in law’s 90th birthday with close family.
Lovely meal great service, best carvery for fresh vegetables and tasty meat
First visit, took some friends who were staying with us for the weekend. Restaurant was very relaxing, excellent food and friendly staff.
Again, lovely food, never visited during weekday lunch before so was surprised to see main menu too. Good value for money, impressive gardens now fully renovated - will be visiting again.
Arrived a little early. Brilliant service excellent food xx xx
We visited today for a celebratory meal for my parents golden wedding anniversary. We had a lovely time - thank you to all the staff. The food was lovely and very very good value for money and good quality. I had specific dietary restrictions which were catered with a lovely vegan option. It was very busy, which we expected, but the staff were very organised. We will definitely be visiting again.
Fantastic room and restaurant. Lovely staff, very welcoming venue, highly recommended!
The veg for the carvery looked like it had been there for a while, which obviously didn't make it look or taste particularly appealing, but the main meals that were ordered in our group were nice
Carvery was lovely, worth the money. We had ice cream for desert, which tasted very very cheap (strawberry and choc) so was very expensive (over £5 for 3 scoops)
Very happy with atmosphere experience. Food very good very clean. Staff pleasant.
