Wiltons

My wife and I have been coming to London for many years and we always dine twice at Wiltons whenever we are in London. Our considered opinion is that Wiltons is the very best restaurant in London. The service is always very cordial, helpful, and professional. And the food...ah, the food...the food is always sensationally delicious. Watching another dinner tonight, he did a little happy dance after his second forkful of the Beef Wellington...carved tableside!!!

A lovely restaurant with a convivial atmosphere. Walking through the door they remember who you are and welcome you home. The food is delicious. The service is impeccable. Always a stop for me now anytime I visit the UK. I need to arrive hungrier though. The portions are generous. There are so many wonderful food options from which to choose. This was my second visit and I look forward to many more.

Wilton's has a great tradition and continues to maintain its standard. Attentive service and top quality ingredients are the key. The menu is comfortable but don't expect anything cutting edge! The cost is what you expect from a central London ' legend ' .

So this is not the cheapest of restaurants but this quality of service and cooking is not cheap, we look forward to returning soon.

Had a wonderful first experience here. Wiltons has an old timey British feel and their steaks are some of the best you can find in the City. The waitstaff at Wiltons were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every need was met. The food was outstanding. Probably the best ribeye I've ever had. I'd definitely come again.

Great food and service. As always the sole was spectacular.

The special duck dish and vegetables were cold and tired. The overall cost of the meal was quite extortionate compared with the quality of food. The service was forced and disinterested. The atmosphere was cold and uninviting. Would not recommend it to anyone. Embarrassing to take Japanese friends there for a special evening.

Good experience but found food is fine. Guess my expectation was a bit too high.

Ok so it’s overpriced (£6 for a small side dish of cabbage for goodness sake) but this is old school, great cooking, great atmosphere,great people watching, attentive service and relaxed. Well nearly. If you’re a bloke and wearing a jacket they will tell you off if you take it off. But I forgive them for that and the six quid sides because Wilton’s makes meet feel relaxed, comfortable and happy. Save up.
