Nice and clean restaurant and the food was really tasty with a good and varied menu. There is a young staff but they are very polite and attentive. The 4 of us really enjoyed it and will definitely be going back.

First time for all of us, came on recommendation and was not disappointed.

We have eaten there before and have never been disappointed. the only criticism on this visit was it was a little warmer than ideal so having the air-con on, on a very low setting would have been welcome.

As always food was great but it would benefit from standibg on a hot plate/burner. Unsure whether it's the tables or what but the serving dishes and the plates cool very quickly resulting in cool food toward the end of the meal Also we needed finger bowls, not provided Only small things but they do make a difference between good and great We will be back

No one else there but atmosphere came from bar downstairs which was showing Villa live in European football match. Food and service very good but no one knows it exists, even locals I spoke to who often go out for meals did not know Hagley had a Chinese

Waiting staff were pleasant, restaurant was clean and had a lovely cosy feel but it became quite noisy as more guests arrived. The food was mostly very good, although portions were on the small side. However, two of my friends had the wrong meal brought to them, one wanted coffee but couldn’t have it as the machine was broken and my ice cream and my friend’s had big lumps of ice in them.

We went as a couple, ordered prawn crackers, 2 starters, 2 mains and a side and left hungry, seeking dessert elsewhere! It was expensive for the small portion sizes you got but what we did have was very tasty and serves quickly. Waitress was friendly, but didn't go out of her way. Wouldn't rush back

The restaurant was very cold. There wasn’t any food warmers so our food went very cold very quickly. Lovely friendly waitress’s but needed basic training on what drinks they serve & what deserts they have! Generally the food was very nice & the decor is lovely.

Wow, where do I start, the bar/restaurant is tastefully decorated with mainly a younger & successful looking customer having a fabulous time. The separate restaurant upstairs is equally as welcoming with a young & very attentive staff who were very capable. The food we had was simply delicious. Oh to be young again, our party of 5 were considerably older than the average customer, however we felt very much alive there & loved every minute. Superb.

Service was ok. A couple of things we ordered never arrived & the bill wasn’t right but the food was exceptional so we’ll definitely be back. Would have liked a drink afterwards in bar downstairs but it was a bit raucous & not suitable imo for a romantic night out.

Wonderful food, great choice. We really enjoyed our evening and will book again. Only a small complaint - the main course plates should have been dinner plates rather than side plates and they should have been warm.
