Fabulous Indian restaurant. We live in Ireland and travel to Birmingham once a year just to eat here. Highly recommended

We are regulars at the wonderful Viceroy and it never fails to delight us. A small, cosy venue place with lots of atmosphere and amazing food. Took some friends with us this time, they loved it. This is one of Birmingham's best restaurants.

It’s really hard to excites how genuinely lovely it was. The staff are wonderful but the full array of flavours was incredible. We picked dishes we wouldn’t normally go for and they did not disappoint. The calves liver starter was stunning. The prawn was seriously the best we have ever tasted. They papadums (especially the spicy) were delicious as were the condiments. For main we had red snapper and lamb which were glorious. I don’t have the menu to hand but I hope that leaves whoever is reading this time to explore the options. Thank you so much. We definitely want to come back.

Lovely Indian food generous portions of top quality ingredients. The spice is beautifully balanced allowing all the flavours to shine. Rice and bread are light and tasty. Details in the salad such as pomegranate make it feel special. Highly recommend this restaurant

Very enjoyable. Staff make you feel very welcome, the restaurant has a relaxed contemporary feel and the menu is clear and there is a wide range of choice. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. Service is attentive but not intrusive and seating is comfortable with large tables and plenty of room between tables so no one feels hemmed in. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

I live in Birmingham and the Viceroy is my favourite curry house in Brum. The food is always wonderful as is the friendly, warm service. The staff are incredibly welcoming and will go out of their way to please and make your experience feel special.

Some of the dishes were a bit disappointing in terms of taste and flavour. There was far too much tamarind in the chicken dansak, the prawn byriani had overpowering cardomon flavour. The other dishes were nice . The music was quite distracting and not to our liking. We would have much preferred Bollywood music. This is just our opinion. The staff service was very nice and welcoming. We were treated in a friendly manner.
