Excellent food- delicious! Excellent service as well. Would definitely go again
It was fabulous. Amazing food and super service. Thank you!
Great place and table. Food and service superb. Will be back soon.
Food was poor, service was abysmal. I thought that they were making changes to management and rectifying mistakes. Never coming again.
Food excellent Service good Really enjoyed it as always Will be back
Excellent as always. Lamb was memorable. Wine list also reasonable
Very good, interesting choice of food and wine , attentive service.
Very good service and the food was nice thank you
What a great experience/. We heard that the eggs and black pudding were exception.... that was an understatement. Wow!!!
Excellent food , good service but v noisy group of 12 men meant that we couldn’t hold a conversation until waiter moved us
We have been coming to Tom’s Kitchen since it’s opening day and today we were very disappointed. It wasn’t busy but service was slow, our eggs were cold and no one came around to see if we wanted anything else. Don’t see us returning which is saddening.
Second time here, and experience was equally good. A favorite.
Bar man ill so no cocktails, even mocktail! Had special main £22 (cod), a third of the size of the fish on the fish & chips my daughter had £18 and potatoes were included. My sons Hanger steak was really tough, mentioned to waitress and she said it looked chewy, no more said and still on bill at full price - unbelievable. Expensive, no atmosphere and won’t be going again.
We ordered two glasses of wine and two main meals. The waiter came back and said he had given us the wrong menu and one of our choices not available. We then both changed to the same main course (good) and it was served two minutes later (too quick) but still no wine until half through dinner. Lots of apologies but atmosphere like organised chaos.
Nice atmosphere helpful staff but TINY portions for the pre Chelsea menu. No bread or carbs. But delicious. Not very good value for money.
We have been to Tom’s kitchen on many occasions but what a difference when we went on Saturday 4 May. Menu was very reduced, food was cold when it came as were coffees, there have been obvious changes in the kitchen and service staff. It shows! Come on you can do better than this! We even got the wrong bill!
It was a pleasure to have lunch with a good friend!!
Extremely poor, slow service. Food ok but totally ruined by management's lack of management. Eating upstairs makes you a second class citizen. The establishment should not open upstairs if staff cannot cope. Many issues: Whilst waiting for one of our guests we ordered a shared platter. It came 10 minutes before drinks ordered at same time Plates were not given with shared platter Mains and wine ordered. Wine took 15 minutes to arrive - we had to remind staff Had to request cutlery Initially incorrect food order delivered to table We requested mayo and ketchup 3 times. It never came. We could see plastic bottles of both near staff station. We were told they did not have enough little receptacles to put it in. Presented with bill instead of sauces when trying to catch the eye of staff. Bill incorrect, they needed 3attempts to get it right. Generally the attitude of staff needs serious work but, to be fair, they did not seem well supported.
Not very welcoming . Young waiter very helpful. Starters okay at best , mains cold as were the sides. Harassed manager apologised d removed items from the bill. Earlier reviews tell same story so obviously the place not listening. Will not be returning or recommending
Had eggs & salmon, really Good food. Extremely bad and lousy service. Went on a sunday morning
Lovely lunch in a relaxed atmosphere with good quality food and great service. I would recommend. I had the 2 course set lunch of a main and pudding.just the right size for a light lunch
The reason for my rating is the bad service. Food wise was very good. I had booked two days in advance but apparently they hadn’t received my booking. The woman there was rude, and said that to sit downstairs you need to book way in advance. I asked to see if we could move at any time and she said she will come upstairs to tell me if that’s as possible. I did see her upstairs many times but never came to say yes you can move or sorry you cannot. Upstairs was extremely hot and noisy, and the service. Quite slow service I always give 5 stars but the rudeness of the host decreased this.
We were given a table next to the kitchen and it was very noisy - when we pointed this out to the waiter they did quieten down a little. It would not however stop us from booking again and the food was delicious
We Love the new decor and the new menu is super !! It is A great addition to the neighborhood We are looking forward to going back again soon
As always, relaxed, busy and great venue to hook up for late late brunch and early lunch all at the samw time with friends on a sunday
The wide selection and quality of every item was so enjoyed. From the halibut perfectly cooked to the slow roasted lamb cook for seven hours we were in culinary heaven
We had a lovely lunch thanks. The Hake was perfect as was the Gavi! Love the new interiors. Couldn't test the sound as you were not full.
Disappointed with the food as it is normally very good! Service was slow and the food mediocre. Their fish and chips is normally very good but on this occasion it was not. The chips were not crispy and seemed to be old. Very disappointing especially seeing it was a birthday lunch.
The fish and chips were probably the best I’ve ever had. The fish was fresh and the batter both thin and crispy. Service friendly. Highly recommend.
Great food, service and ambience. Delicious desserts. Portion sizes for the main course were generous, beautifully flavoured and perfectly cooked chicken schnitzel. Enjoyed a glass of very smooth Merlot.
Food was great but the service was incredibly slow. You can usually get a table upstairs which is nice on a weekend, but it seems that’s where they put all the families with kids and babies - so it can get pretty noisy up there.
The world record level starter, wonderful main Course. Dessert: one was excellent, the other not as expected. Personnel: friendly and competent. Overall: go there and enjooy. Highly recommended
Noisy; not very comfortable seating; and very expensive for the quality it delivers. Service was good if somewhat pushy! Not sure I will return soon.
Excellent food. Very pleasant and efficient staff who were a tad short handed and had to work extra hard to keep up. Extra help for them to ensure even better service would have helped
Great food Great ambiance Great service A very nice evening in Chelsea A nice recommendation for a perfect dinner Sharing dinner it was with great food and wine
Too many small children screaming but food was terrific. Service very good. Lovely venue. Great chef great staff. Interesting menu. A very able cocktail barman
