Very nice place, good cocktails, slightly expensive. Definitely worth a visit during happy hour! x x x x x x x x x x x
Had a great time at 3 little birds with my partner and mother, its my second time there, food was excellent, the venue is quirky, modern and non offensive and the service was on point, the lady who served us who i think was called Claudia was bubbly, funny and very professional. Will be back for sure.
They bought our starters and mains at the same time so we had to ask them to keep them warm. Food was ok. The prawns we lovely aa were the chicken wings. Oxtail was a bit tough. Could have been a bit more spicy too. Curry goat was as expected. Would go again but not for dinner
Nice venue and not too crowded for Brixton. Really helpful staff and nice cocktails and wine. Food was good but needed more spice and heat.
Great waitress, fab food and a brilliant atmosphere. Nice vibes. Only fault was we sat near the toilets which we could smell at times other than that it was lovely.
Can't wait to go back, very pleasant and vibrant restaurant. Starters and main were amazing. The cocktails are very nice. I just think the owner should have an cocktail named after she cause she beautiful.
I had a great time at Three Little Birds, as was the case on my first visit. Quality food, quality service and quality atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning!
Portions are way too small. My partner had chicken in brown stew and he got 2 bits of bone in a not spicy bland sauce.
We had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the staff so very friendly. Thank you three little birds for a lovely time 😀
Clearly I really like it there (understatement of the year- so far)... Had a sister day with my sister (funnily enough) everyone was so welcoming and friendly... once we sat down she was like do you work here.. :)
Went here with my friend she had the Ackee and Saltfish with Dumplings she loved it and rightly so, I had a taste and it was really good, the dumplings were amazingly fluffy inside (like a gosh darn cloud) - if I knew what a cloud tasted like... Another great meal. :)
My mum and one of my friends share a birthday and we were going dancing around the area on that night, so as I thoroughly enjoyed the food with my mum I thought why not :D.. It was the only choice that came to mind knowing that I would enjoy the food.. we had a drink there as well the aptly 'Buffalo Soulja' it was delicious..and dangerous, it taste like refreshing juice with a hint of ginger, be it catches up to you in a warm inviting way that you don't see until you're laughing and enjoying yourself :) Thanks K/C/A
The drinks and music are really good! But the food isn't so great. The Mac and cheese was very dry as was the rice x
I went with colleagues from work and ordered a range of dishes, which we shared. I can't remember much about the food... but the rum cocktails were excellent. :)
Excellent food; the happy hour is good value and the atmosphere's good. The curry was quite salty but mixed with other flavours it worked well.
Nice, cosy restaurant with a chill, relaxed atmosphere. Although the menu was a bit sparse, the food was well cooked and nicely presented. I'll definitely visit again.
Great good, atmosphere, staff and cocktails! Everyone so friendly and the food is delicious especially the chicken bites and sweet pot chips. Thank you for the amazing cocktails made even better as it was happy hour.
Three Little Birds is more of a cafe than a restaurant with a limited menu which was chalked onto a blackboard - nothing available in print. Not great if you wanted to peruse the menu for any length of time. The food was very overpriced - a case in point jerk chicken wings for £8 with no sides, and no children's portions. On the plus side the decor is very nice as is the ambience with the reggae of Bob Marley's records being played in the background. Overall though I have to say more style over substance. There are a lot of restaurants in Brixton now so Three Little Birds has to be more competitive.
Unfortunately I wasn't greeted when I got to the restaurant found my own table, took the staff 35mins to come and ask us if we wanted drinks even though nobody had given us a drinks menu, he then brought the menus over, but never came back to ask us for our order. We waited for an additional 20 mins. The restaurant has a nice buzz to it, couldn't Comment on the food or drink. Sorry to say it wasn't a great experience we ended leaving and eating elsewhere. Three little birds need to step up there service I'm afraid
Food was really, really good and good sized portions too, nothing too big or small. Service with a smile too 😊 Good atmosphere too... Although the cricket was on so of course it was lively!
Nice restaurant. Great vibe. Food was also good but change in menu since I went on Mother's Day. Jerk bites are my favourite and I would also recommend the jerk burger. The sweet potatoe fries can get a bit sickly after a while though.
First time there; lovely place, quite convenient to the Brixton tube stop. Food is a collection of smaller dishes/starters and somewhat larger, single-person dishes. All very nice. Great cocktails, excellent selection of music. Noise at tolerable level, lovely staff.
Good food but portions were way too small! Curry goat was the standout dish, loved the oxtail buns and cocktails too. Service was very friendly.
My friend and I had been meaning to visit 3 Little birds for a while and when we both become available it was an easy decision where we would go and we were thrilled that we went. the food was fantastic and the service was timely we both had the Jerk Burger - it was delicious, truly. the meat was done to perfection (medium/rare) as request, succulent spicy beef....you could really taste the jerk spices without the overwhelming heat the onions were a delicious accompaniment for the spice, the bun was soft but held firm (didn't fall apart like some can) I loved it. So good, Little food heaven!
Food was very good. Charming hosts. It was the first day of our waitress and unfortunately she had not been trained at all:she didn't know what a bammy was nor what was in the Redemption song cocktail for example, which are key elements of the restaurant's success (good food and great drinks).
Service was a bit slow to start with Starters were quite nice, we had the salt cod, veg spring rolls and chicken bites. I wouldn't say it was amazing food, quite average I think the main course let us down. The goat curry was good in flavour but wasn't enough meat. The fried chicken dish was really dry. The rice and peas didn't seem fresh and the portion of coleslaw was tiny. The chicken was fine, again nothing to write home about. The run punch cocktail was very nice though. Doubt we would return I'm afraid. Has the potential to be really good but they need to up the quality and presentation of their food to ensure customers return.
Fantastic venue, welcoming and great background music. Lovely staff always ready to be helpful. The food was tasty and all my party agreed. Plenty of vegetarian options a bonus. Cocktails amazing! I surely recommend it and I will return to taste the rest of the menu.
The atmosphere was nice, we had to ask for reggae music as we were expecting this from the description of the restaurant/café. starters were nice, we had the oxtail for main which was very undercooked, we also had the curry goat which was good, just a little bit fatty. our dessert was great especially the ginger ice cream.
great service, food was ok, needed bulking out a little maybe, flavors were good, seats at the back on the high bench really uncomfortable! nice place though, clearly a lot of care has gone in to it
Took my mum here on her birthday, she's not one for restaurants so it was a risk in that respects.. but after my first visit I thought is was worth the risk. It was wonderful they helped me set the table with flowers for her so when she arrive it would feel a little special. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and it was so yummy :) my mum got the same last minute when she heard what I was ordering. She need hot sauce with hers which was happily provided, her taste buds are spicier than my own :D. The chicken was lightly crispy on the outside and incredibly moist on the inside (perfect) and waffles were wonderful. Thank you C/K/A
Lovely little relaxing rum bar/cafe. A group of us went for dinner, a little bit underwhelmed by the food personally but the bean burger looked incredible, wish I'd had that! I'm not sure it's at the top of my list for must go back but a nice little spot with a great soundtrack! Next time I go back I think i'll try the cocktails as they did look really exciting!
The ambience of the restaurant is great, however the food isn't that good...my friend ordered a salmon and he wasn't satisfied with the portion size...
Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere & fun reggae vibes. Just a little hot where we were seated and at a high table. Would have preferred to have been lower down.
Extremely slow service. Food was mediocre at best and was neither tapas nor full sized portions. Beer was overpriced. Location was good and music was good. Wouldn't go back again.
Spent Mother's Day here last night, the food and service was amazing as always! Will definitely be going back very soon! Thank you so much
This is an absolutely delightful restaurant. The food is 5 star - delicious and EXCELLENT value for money. Try it and see for yourself! I can't wait to go again soon.
The service was excellent. The food is lovely I just wished there was more of it. The cocktails were so nice I just kept ordering and the whole atmosphere was great . Will definitely be returning. Loved it
Lovely food, great atmosphere, the staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely be visiting again to try out the other delicacies on the menu.
I celebrated my birthday in Three Little birds and the service was great the food was great. I really had an enjoyable experience and so did my friends
Nice staff but .... very confused menu i thought. Main dish of coconut prawns was literally. ... 4 prawns deepfried with two tablespoons of tartare sauce on some spinach. For £9. Similarly the goat felt like it had been rushed, lacking a lot of fkavour. Style over substance. Would go back for drinks only. Ps if you dont have a dish available, let the guests know when you give them the menu, not after they have waited to order for 20 minutes and then happen to choose that dish.
Recommend the Highway 2000 the jerk chicken, really tasty, the staff are really friendly, considering the size of the restaurant they pack them in and maintain cleanliness and smart look to it.
Was really easy to book, and easy to find as well. The menu was short, but we really enjoyed the food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, would definitely return.
The food and service was excellent. Atompshere was relaxing. I will definitely come here again. It was nice seeing the owner April speaking to the customers.
Lovely and friendly, great service and delicious cocktails! My callaloo was a bit dull and I couldn't taste the coconut, but otherwise it was all great.
An intimated setting with very good food, value of money and customer service. Enjoyed the cocktail, background music and will definitely be returning again! Recommended!
booked this for my birthday we were a large group of 12 and it was a bit of a disaster for starters it is really a cafe /coffee shop so if you are expecting a restaurant like we were you will be disappointed. It was so small we were scattered over 3 tables (its probably just ok for 2 or 3 people meeting up to grab a snack) Then it all goes downhill from there the service was hit a miss one waiter was really good but there was a waitress who bordered on being hostile! she was so rude 2 of my guests left before ordering. Then we had a disagreement about the service charge we explained we were a large group so we wanted to order and pay for our drinks at the bar the waitress basically told us we could not do that she had to get the drinks for which she added 12.5% service charge to every single drink. Then Food was not spectacular the Chicken I had was a tiny leg and thigh (I did request a side breast and wing but was told that they did not offer that part of the chicken???) and the rice and peas that accompanied was not the normal cup portion it was like half a cup it couldn't feed a child. Apart from the portions the rest of it was not much better. Altogether a very unpleasant (and very expensive for what it was) experience they really have to sort out some of these issues before I would thing of returning.
Great restaurant and great atmosphere. Although we had to wait a long time for our starters, the food was delicious with generous portions. I would highly recommend the goat curry....... Am planning go on taking two friends there again in a couple of weeks.
Three little birds has a really nice vibe and the food is delicious. They seemed to be very busy when I arrived. Nobody greeted me, I had to go to the bar to ask where the table is that I reserved. The lady behind the bar was very nice and polite. She pointed me in the direction of my table. As I waited 30mins for the rest of my party, no one (waiting staff) came over to offer me a drink or anything. The tables were all very cramped. When the rest of my party arrived, we were served near enough straight away. Food didn't take very long to arrive but the portion of rice and peas was extremely small in comparison to the chicken so I had to order another portion and I'm not a very big eater so that kind of gives u an idea of how small the portion was. The chef served us our meals and took our dessert orders as I'm guessing they were under staffed. The food was really really nice as were the cocktails. It's a nice little rum bar/ restaurant but too many tables cramped in. They did seem short staffed and busy but it would have been a lot better if more effort was made with the service. Staff was nice when approached. I would give the benefit of the doubt and go there again but maybe not on a Saturday night.
Great service, good food, relaxing vibe. We went along for a Sunday brunch and had a lovely time. We will definitely be returning in the near future.
Absolutely amazing vibe and atmosphere, swift service and the staff were very attentive!!! I took my staff team there and they absolutely loved it from the offset; it was extra special as I asked April to share her journey with us which she sat and did with great pleasure. I look forward to seeing the 5 year plan in execution #GreatEnergy #GoodMacCheese
