Might try for breakfast but in the evening the music was way too loud,
For our first dinner on our London vacation we found Three Little Birds. We were warmly greeted and had April (owner) help us with our dinner selection. We had an amazing dinner here and would gladly recommend it to others, casual and 5 stars for sure!
Tasty food and cocktails! Attentive staff and nice relaxed attentive
Food was great so were the cocktails. Definitely go again
Great atmosphere, really friendly staff (Stephanie was lovely), amazing food (jerk chicken wings were spot on) and cocktails made expertly by their bar man. Will definitely be back!
Great food, truly wonderful especially the codfish fritters. But the service is slow, it's clearly short-staffed which is a shame as it's an amazing place.
Friendly relaxed place with a great atmosphere. Good local joint.
I tried restaurant at opening to try grill dishes. Still staff were great. But we knew this would be was reliant on wonderful EU lovely staff ....
Lovely place for a drink with friends and great cakes!
Three little birds was amazing. The owner created a really nice vibe to go along with all the delicious jamaican inspired tapas. I can’t speak enough about the food, and drinks. My only regret is that my family and I found the restaurant hours before we scheduled to leave London.
Delicious authentic Jamaican food, great customer service - what more could you ask for?
Nice cocktails, nice service & outstanding banana bread cake 👌🏻
Our first visit to Three Little Birds cocktails were great especially during happy hour we had a table for 5 we sat at the back but unfortunately the bench seat became very uncomfortable it needs some sort of cushion on the day of our visit it was full and there was only 1 server although she did a brilliant job at times it impacted on the wait it needed more staff at least one more. Overall a good experience.
Lovely food with an excellent waitress. Would definitely return and equally recommend.
The host was great. The food was exceptional very tasty just like true caribbean food. A good portion of food.
As always, a wonderful experience. Some delicious new dishes on the menu too!
Good food, with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. A little over priced.
The food was not what me and my partner expected the stewed chicken was not very nice at all to the point we refused to pay for it and to be honest we wouldn’t of paid for any of it if we had the choice not to the rice and peas was dry and not very nice either I definitely won’t recommend this place to friends and family and would never eat here again when was the worst 30 pounds I have ever spent
Amazing food and nice service It took very long to get a coffee
Nice atmosphere, good food, rustic feel... all in all we had a good time....
Great food! Affordable. The most amazingly cute waitress! Definitely recommend!!
Food was ok service was good but a bit slow.
The food was absolutely delicious and the waitresses were friendly. But we had to remind them about our drinks order three times, as they seemed to have forgotten, and we had to flag them down a few times so we could order more drinks/food. The restaurant was also extremely noisy and the toilet was a little dirty. So while the food was great, i won't be rushing back.
I booked with high expectations after watching the proprietor on Sunday Brunch. What a disappointment, the quality of the dish ordered left a lot to be desired. My guest ordered curry goat and rice and pea and I had rundown. The rice and peas looked and tasted like something cooked from the day before. It was dry and tasteless my rundown was far from authentic. Mackerel rundown is made with salt mackerel NOT tin mackerel. There was no accompaniments to go with the dish. Which is traditionally boiled green bananas and dumplings for this particular dish. I was offered rice and pea as an alternative. But instead decided to go for the plantain. The rundown arrived with I can only describe what appeared to be leftover slices of hard boiled green bananas. The highlight of the evening was the happy hour and the background music. Sadly I will not be going back again for these reasons.
Value for money is 1/6. Overall 3/6. Cannot revisit. Sorry.
Lovely atmosphere and great food. Will definitely come back again.
Given that we were only one of a handful of tables eating the time between plates arriving was quite long. That said the pear and ginger cheesecake was special.
If we where in the middle of nowhere, would be very good. But in Brixton, this doesn't stand out. A bit disappointed by the quality of the meat used
Good service. Great rum punch. Food okay. Quite dry rice and peas and meat dishes quite underwhelming in flavour. Not in a hurry to go back.
Great food and staff. The tables are a little small if you order the recommended two dishes and a side each but this was sorted easily. The Curry Goat, Codfish Fritters and Plantain were delicious but we felt the Stew Chicken needed a little more punch of flavour. It would be better if there was a greater choice of soft drinks, such as a fiery Ginger Beer. Definitely worth a visit and we look forward to returning.
Friendly and attentive staff. Food was a major let down. The codfish fritters tasted like fried dough - no taste. I think you know it's bad when you feel the need to add salt to Carribbean cod fritters, a dish that is traditionally made with salt fish or salted cod. The vegan curry was just as much of a let down, as was the run me down mackerel. If you're going to have a Jamaican restaurant, ensure the food is as authentic as possible.
Possibly my favourite ever restaurant. Coming to Three Little Birds is like the best kind of family meal. Warm, relaxed atmosphere, the best hospitality and food beyond compare. According to my 13 y/o the mac and cheese is 'the best ever'. Superb selection of rum and cocktails too, the old fashioned is a wonderful delight to end an evening on and the new winter menu has some absolute treats; loved the pumpkin croquettes. Staff always remember repeat customers and are so helpful and welcoming. Always leave happy and can't wait to come again. Can't say enough good things about this place...
Amazing food and atmosphere at Three Little Bird Brixton. When I come to London, it’s always one of my favorite restaurants to visit and have an excellent meal.
Three Little Birds may be my favourite place to eat ever. Such a good night there with the family. The food is incredible, the drinks divine and the staff are superb. Customer service beyond compare. We will be back soon.
The Little Birds is an excellent Caribbean meal. The codfish fritters and curry goat are delicious! Make sure to wash it down with a Red Strip or a Dark and Stormy.
Fantastic anniversary meal! Food was amazing, will definitely return. My favourite dishes were salmon and the jerk chicken tacos, they were fantastic. The cocktails were so good that I had to have 3!
Really enjoyed the food and the cocktails. Great service and a good atmosphere. Would like to come back to try the banana bread some day.
Lovely staff and great food. Limited menu but that is an advantage I feel, all the food tasted fresh and good quality. Its a very small venue and tables are very close together. Tables are small and once the food is on the table there is a bit of a squash. Cocktails are very good. I will definitely return
Really tasty food - like Jamaican tapas. Initially thought some of the portions were a bit small, but the advised 2 small plates and 1 side per person were enough to fill me and my girlfriend up. Food is reasonably priced too. Got a couple of tasty cocktails in happy hour, for £5 each these were great value (the cocktails were initially on the bill at full price, but the waiter was happy to change the bill to the happy hour price when we pointed this out). Outisde of happy hour drinks are fairly expensive. I like that they add £1 onto your bill as a charity donation to local food banks - it's not much extra on your bill, but will go a long way to helping when added together with everyone else's donation.
A very cosy and friendly restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, great decor, modern but authentic Jamaican food, great service. Excellent cocktails too. Don't miss the banana pancakes.
Food was great and very reasonably priced. Staff in there are always lovely and were very attentive. The vibe and the music in there always make it worth a visit.
A great venue for an evening out. The food and the cocktails were very good and the staff were very helpful. Already planning my next trip.
Really enjoyed our visit here staff were really friendly and the food was spot on,only thing we didnt enjoy was the goat curry way too oily with no kick or spices
Great carreabean food Amazing service, the staff is welcoming and friendly. Very nice and chilled place and the music is good. Might seem a bit pricey but food is very good quality
Chicken poorly cooked. The seasoning was not authentic enough. I did feel the Caribbean experiences. Staff are lovely. Very attentive. Great selection of music. Just the food that needs attention
We celebrated out wedding anniversary 30/05/2018 at Three Little Birds. The food was fantastic, very tasty. Customer service was on point. The waitress made fantastic cocktails. Thank you.
Simple but delicious menu, great drinks super friendly service with everything clearly detailed for allergies. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Really fun and great atmosphere.
I had come to Three Little Birds around 3 times a year ago and had found the food to be very tasty and with good portions. However, I was disappointed to see the new menu last night with ‘tapas style’ dishes and food that doesn’t look or tast like authentic carribean cuisine (I am particularly thinking of the jerk chicken). It is a real shame. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
The food was great. Surprisingly good. Service was a bit unfair for the Thursday evening. Only one girl practically doing everything from making drinks to taking orders and serving. Only let down was the calimari. All the food was experimental and each dish was great but the calimari was clearly frozen breaded calimari you could make your self or buy in the frozen food section. Was expecting something a bit more exciting considering all the other dishes were great. Cocktails were good. Throughly enjoyed. A lack of choice on the desert front. The food and restuarant have some twist on the fine dining style but has small let downs that are apparent to the food crictic I am. The ambience was pleasent. Looking forward to trying more on the menu next time.
Coctails were good but all dishes were a disappointment. Service was average at best. The prices are scandalous for what they are serving. I won't be returning.
