Lovely meal with great service, Sunday roasts all looked amazing and tasted wonderful!

We love going to the Wild Swan as the food and service is always great. Added bonus is 6 we can walk to it!

great, enjoyed our visit, waitress was pleasant, cheerful and efficient. Food was great, only downside was that we were in the bar and near the door so it was a little drafty everytime the door opened, which happened a lot as it was a busy lunchtime.

Had to wait quite a while for our main courses, but most of our party of 9 enjoyed their choice of food.

Fantastic little pub/restaurant this is. Nice ambiance great quality meals an excellent value for money. Only one point, don't bank on getting in by just turning up. Be sure to book first. Certainly recommend here.

Lovely setting friendly staff and owner. Attentive service without being overbearing, really tasty food with an excellent choice. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu.

With a earring difficulty the noise from closely adjoining tables made it impossible to hear the conversation on our own table. The restaurant is excellent.

I booked a table for 4 people over 6 weeks ago for yesterday and to our dismay were seated in the bar which was very squashed. Unfortunately it was quite cold in that area and then sadly our food came out just warm. I have eaten here many times before and been delighted as we have sat in the dining room. When I booked no one informed me that we would be sat in the bar area. We were all very disappointed.

It got a bit noisy due to amount of people. Portion size we felt a little small for money. Overall, very good and will visit again - after Christmas.

The festive menu could have been better, otherwise a restaurant with a great reputation. We shall return, but not for turkey!

The tables were rather close together and this meant that getting to and from the seat was awkward, particularly for the older member of our party.

Staff were very friendly & helpful and the food was delicious

service very good and lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately my soup was cold and had to be sent back. It tasted fine but not more than that. Not as good as previous visits which have been excellent.

The only real weakness was the seat allocation. Our first very close to the ‘kitchen’ run; the second too close to an adjoining table necessitatating two of our party having to get up each time they needed to go to the toilet!

i wasn’t impressed to be told everyone in the party had to have the christmas menu and one person at a table couldnt!! why not theyre separate meals & if i was on my own couldnt i have it?? it also doesn’t state on the menu everyone has to have it. it was also freezing at the tables near the door & i was sat right in front of the radiator!!!!

Great service and super food, great to be able to see the chefs preparing the food.

Third visit in a couple of months, each time it’s been great. Just what you look for in a really good dining pub. Great food, great beer, lovely staff, not rushed, perfect place for a nice long lunch.

This was our second visit within the last five days and it is our intention to revisit very soon.

I was a little disppointed at the portion size of my meal (venison) and that more veg would be extra. I was tasty though.
