Really enjoyable. Staff were extremely friendly, and food was very good as well. Thoroughly recommend.

Overall not a pleasant experience- inexperienced staff - long waits- claustrophobic seating - limited menu- food ok - toilets clean

Staff were attentive and polite The food was very good - my only criticism was that I thought the green vegetable portions were a little small (especially as they tasted so good)

Didn’t have my choice off the specials board despite it being 6pm - why was it left on the board. My friend ordered Hunters chicken and they had substituted the Cajun chicken and it was so spicy and hot she couldn’t eat it. Not impressed.

What a great pub. Lovely welcome (for us and our dog) followed by good beer and a very nice Sunday lunch. All in lovely surroundings and at a reasonable price. We will be back!

They had run out of three starters so only fish available but hubby doesn’t eat fish. Ran out of Yorkshire puddings And run out horseraddish sauce to! . So was disappointed. The potatoes were nice and crispy but had a very fatty after taste like deep fried oil. Vegetables were excellent as was meat and gravy.

Unfortunately the main chef didn't turn up and so we waited a long time, it was cold, the food was good apart from the burnt potatoes Landlord apologised and reduced the bill and asked us to go again and we will

When we arrived none of the ales were available. We ordered food and then server returned to tell us that most of the dishes on the menu were not available and we were the first in for lunch! We paid for our drinks, refused to pay the 12% service and left. Will never return.

Had a super lunch at the white horse Rogate on 29December. Pub has an attractive interior so looks appealing. Sensible menu. Service was v friendly and food very good. I had the fish and chips but all the meals were good. Would definitely recommend

Just fabulous - so happy to see our local pub firing on all cylinders!

Drinks were forgotten, starters were missed (we ordered 5 squid and got just one). Mains came at different times. No music playing (a week before Christmas). They removed one £7 squid from the bill… but still charged us 12.5% service. Disappointing.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was lovely and very attentive to our 2 year old child.

Not good. Dull menu, took forever to take our order, after ordering they realised they didnt have 1 of the mains available and then the starter took 2 attempts to arrive. 90 mins in and with no sign of a main course, we left. The couple at the table next to us whispered ‘we won’t be back either’ as we departed!

In comparison with many other pubs in the area, the sandwiches we had were priced a little on the high side for what they were.

Lovely to see TWH open again. Beautifully refurbished. Nice atmosphere. Pleasant helpful staff. Food was good but it took a long time to come. We arrived at 1230, did not take too long to order but did not get our mains u till 1335.

Potato Chips were very oily, food was salty, no salad with children's beefburger, pricey menu for what you get

Great re-opening of lovely traditional village pub. Beautiful stone floor and fire place, right on lovely village green. Good atmosphere, food and lovely team of staff.

only been open for a couple of weeks but already our 'go to place'. This was our 5th visit, so we are working our way through the menu! Alex the new owner is very receptive to any suggestions, so it can only get better. Book well in advance as they are very popular!
