Great food, good atmosphere and singer was excellent. We had chateaubriand which was excellent value for money and we are looking forward to our next visit
Food very good, but restaurant very quiet, needs a few more clients to give the place ambience.
Lovely food and staff , quite a wait for the food but it was worth it. Nothing too much trouble. Will return
Over priced food from an odd menu. The main I had was a veg roast which consistes of 2 roast potatoes, some mash, some cauliflower cheese and bolied carrot and bolied green beans with a massive yorkie shoved on. So the only thing roasted was the potato . I was expecting asomethinv like a nut roast but. It was basically a plate of sides. We also orders the trio of pork. This consisted of 2 x 2 cm squares of belly pork, 2 chipolatas and 2 small black pudding fritters. Again it was like a starter. Shame as this place used to be good.
Lovely Sunday evening meal & joined in on the quiz. Would go again.
the food was lovely, a wider dessert choice would have been nice. but still had a lovely time.
Visited for Sunday Lunch. Food was tasty, however for the price portions were a little small. Our sauté potatoes consisted of two new potatoes cut in half. Staff were pleasant but service was a little slow despite there not being many people dining
Great new menu, cooked very well and enjoyed by both of us. Shame chicken wings are no longer on the menu!
Best meal we have had this year. Lovely menu all dishes enjoyed. Service very helpful. Will come again. Thanks.
Fabulous food and great service. Only negative was the music was a little too loud. Will be back.
Last minute booking for 6 of us. There were two other tables ordering food. One of the other tables queried with a waitress where their meals were as it was taking excess time to arrive. I appreciate fresh food takes longer, and although we didn't enquire as to how long ours would take, we was thinking the same. The price was slightly elevated compared to other competitors I.e haighton Manor. Food was nice but portions were quite small. I ordered a strawberry panna cotta but the only evidence of it being strawberry was the fresh strawberry sat on top. I think they may have also forgot to add any sugar. Needless to say, I did not eat it. On a number of occasions we had to attend to ourselves, ordering more drinks, condiments, removing empties and obtaining the bill. Theres a lot of work needed here.
A very nice meal, different things on menu than the usual pub food, very friendly staff, a nice relaxing atmosphere, a nice evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The food was tasty but the atmosphere & service need work. Its a shame because food was good but we like to dine & enjoy the place ,our 2nd drinks never came no salt & pepper on tables or the offer of it. Two waitresses were gossiping at the bar about boyfriends very loudly & as its quite pricy you do expect the service to go with it
No chef, no food. Hope they get this sorted soon.
