The Stonhouse

Went to the Stonhouse to have a group Christmas lunch and the meal was perfect; 3 courses of clean plates.

Great food and good value. Pleasant staff. Went for Sunday roast and food was plentiful and tasty. It was very noisy, but then again, it is a pub.

I’m normally pretty happy with the food here, this was the first time I had a steak 🥩 here. But I wasn’t impressed of the overall quality of the meat considering the price I paid for it.

Always enjoy the Stonhouse, good atmosphere and great staff. One slight criticism would be that the food was not that hot.

Gorgeous Sunday roast as ever. Portions were amazing, fabulous wine And the staff were faultless. My favourite place to eat in Clapham!

Orerall good, was very warm in there for a while until eventually someone propped the doors open. I had the nut roast which was super bland, have had much better elsewhere. Great Yorkshire though. Great service. Good atmosphere.

Great food, too busy for a relaxing lunch as there was the rugby on and large groups of people in so table service suffered and was noisy but can’t fault the food.

Stonhouse always serve great food, and always have a good specials board too. Staff are friendly and polite.

I know I’m middle-aged but I don’t think the music needed to be as loud as it was. Hard to hear each other at times without raising our voices. Pub was full - plenty of chatter and conversation would have been better as background noise. Roast chicken was a bit dry - possibly ‘end of the day’ roast.

Friendly and accommodating staff. One of our guest was diabetic and they were patient with her diet selection. Always come here for a relaxing vibe with great food.
