This pub has a great atmosphere and the food quality was great. Staff were very amenable and could not do enough for you.

Booked to eat early 6.45 as though would be quieter time for a Saturday night. Could not access the rear entrance as blocked by people sitting in the doorway drinking - no offer to move out of the way. Once in the pub … loud music in bar area -slightly less loud in eating area. The real issue however was a table of adults with baby & young boy in the restaurant being very loud trying to entertain bored child - it was like having dinner in a crèche! Not allowed to play hide & seek - throw things around the restaurant. Not good. Have being going to Stonhouse for many years - sorry - Won't be going back.

Went here for their Wednesday Steak deal, would definitely recommend.

Rushed service with young inexperienced servers. Cheap basic food cooked badly and expensive. Overall a poor experience

We arrived at 4 pm on a Sunday. This is a great pub Sunday roast. Fantastic service. Food was amazing. We had roast beef dinners and vegan wellington dinner. All were delicious. The vegan roast was particularly tasty. Beef was cooked perfectly. All the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend coming here for Sunday roast.

Pleasant but food came a bit quick before drinks. Staff helpful and attentive.

Wonderful experience, great hosts, ensuring we were aware of special offers. Food was beautifully cooked, entirely to our taste. Lovely pub, beautiful open garden , highly recommend and of course we will be back !!

Went there for a Sunday roast toady. The pork was great but the beef roast left a lot to be desired. 7.5 out of ten on the food but a 10/10 for the service

The staff at the Stonhouse are kind and efficient and friendly.

The waiter did not give the us bill when we asked for pay, just the amount we needed to pay, and when i looked at the machine it was showing 30% for service. I liked the pub but I would not come back, because I think service its optional, and i dont think its honest to put the highest percent without ask for it.

Food was great but the dining area was way too noisy.

The food was mediocre and our drinks took over 25 minutes to come.

The roast was amazing, I had not been for a while and it was great to see the food had improved so much.

They have some brilliant food deals, including an amazing 2 steak dinners, a side salad and chips, plus a bottle of Malbec for £45. Only on Wednesdays .
