The Stonhouse

Sadly not the best experience. Squished in a dingy corner, mocktails ordered were forgotten about and then we're badly mixed. "Sourdough" bread was just sliced bread. Olives hadn't been drained. Asked for steak medium and it was barely rare. Mistake overcharging on the final bill. Disappointing.

Always head back here because we love it. Great selection of food and drinks, friendly staff and buzzy atmosphere. Also a plus that they have a nice outside area.

Went to the Stonhouse to have a group Christmas lunch and the meal was perfect; 3 courses of clean plates.

Great food and good value. Pleasant staff. Went for Sunday roast and food was plentiful and tasty. It was very noisy, but then again, it is a pub.

I’m normally pretty happy with the food here, this was the first time I had a steak 🥩 here. But I wasn’t impressed of the overall quality of the meat considering the price I paid for it.

Orerall good, was very warm in there for a while until eventually someone propped the doors open. I had the nut roast which was super bland, have had much better elsewhere. Great Yorkshire though. Great service. Good atmosphere.

Great food, too busy for a relaxing lunch as there was the rugby on and large groups of people in so table service suffered and was noisy but can’t fault the food.
