Lovely food, the calamari was some of the best we’ve eaten! Attentive staff, wouldn’t hesitate in returning.

We arrived at 4 pm on a Sunday. This is a great pub Sunday roast. Fantastic service. Food was amazing. We had roast beef dinners and vegan wellington dinner. All were delicious. The vegan roast was particularly tasty. Beef was cooked perfectly. All the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend coming here for Sunday roast.

Wonderful experience, great hosts, ensuring we were aware of special offers. Food was beautifully cooked, entirely to our taste. Lovely pub, beautiful open garden , highly recommend and of course we will be back !!

Great Sunday lunch; variety of roasts and wine menu, and a relaxing atmosphere with friends

Went there for a Sunday roast toady. The pork was great but the beef roast left a lot to be desired. 7.5 out of ten on the food but a 10/10 for the service

The staff at the Stonhouse are kind and efficient and friendly.

The waiter did not give the us bill when we asked for pay, just the amount we needed to pay, and when i looked at the machine it was showing 30% for service. I liked the pub but I would not come back, because I think service its optional, and i dont think its honest to put the highest percent without ask for it.

Food was great but the dining area was way too noisy.

The roast was amazing, I had not been for a while and it was great to see the food had improved so much.

They have some brilliant food deals, including an amazing 2 steak dinners, a side salad and chips, plus a bottle of Malbec for £45. Only on Wednesdays .

Lovely evening but quite noisy with crying baby at the beginning. Would definitely go back.

The table behind us was an absolute nightmare, which contributed to the overall noise and atmosphere. The team tried their best to deal with it. We ordered a side that never came, but it got removed from the bill. Overall, good value :) we shall return.

It was all ok. Just. Ambiance, service, drinks all good, though we moved tables after an hour or so due to some chaps who seemed to be having a very competitive chat. Nothing to do with the pub, just loud Clapham chaps. The food was just not special, merely serviceable. Never enough chorizo in the chicken & chorizo pie and it was more like some filling in a sheet of pastry rather than a pie with a base, sides and top. Will definitley go for a drink there again, but will probably not eat.
