Probably our third visit in as many years but still has the friendly atmosphere and good food and ale. Attentive and helpful staff. The 'Three Cheers' house ale was very good and all in all the four of us enjoyed the evening.

This is a great place if you want a table outside on a sunny day. The food's good too, although you may struggle to figure out what you want on the menu, what you do have you'll really enjoy.

I always enjoy coming here! I've not once had a bad meal and again this didn't disappoint. Great meal and a good selection of wines to accompany.

The fish was a bit overcooked and too much garlic... The pub needs a little refurb. Such a great space and location, owner needs to invest!

Went with a group of friends for the Sunday roast which was lovely and came in decent portions. Desserts were also massive. Staff were friendly and happily provided us with extra gravy when requested.

Went to the Stonhouse for a Sunday Lunch. We got there at 1:45pm and as it was busy, were informed it was an hour wait for food. When the Sunday lunch came, it was slightly lacklustre with a very oily yorkshire pudding and the chicken on the bone, which was a bit fiddly to eat. Love the Stonhouse but definitely not the best Sunday lunch I've had in London...

It was a gorgeoya hot day and we sat in the courtyard. Staff were friendly as always and delivered great service despite the warm weather. The bumbleberry cocktail was excellent too!

Lovely staff, lovely steak (paid the extra for the sweet potato fries which was well worth it) and great value - especially with taste card!

The staff were lovely and the food was great. As it was Friday night it was busy and just a bit too loud for my elderly family but the pub is lovely and would recommend to anyone.

Friendly service, a good varied menu and wine list and comfy English pub atmosphere. Excellent steak and great real chips. We like the late lunch service until 3.30pm then you can linger with your wine or coffee. Book at busy times.

Amazing food with amazing service. Particularly loved the scallops, ham hock hash, brisket and sticky toffee pudding! Would gladly dine there again any time! The Malbec was also exquisite.

Probably my favourite gastropub in Clapham. It's very casual and unstuffy with a great beer garden. The chateaubriand is an awesome dinner for two! The pub is dog-friendly as well.

Great flexibility with booking time as we were 30 min late and still had our table ready for us. Great honest and tasty food with a good variety of dishes.

We're big fans on the Avalon and Abbeville, so thought we give the Stonhouse a try. We ate around 7pm on a Sunday. The roast chicken had obviously been kept warm since lunchtime as it was so dry it was impossible to swallow. Roast potatoes were barely cooked too and certainly not crispy from being cooked in the goose fat they promised. Desert wasn't much better, I ordered apple and rhubarb crumble. This consisted of fruit that had been stewed so much is was more like a purée. I'm pretty sure the crumble topping was crushed up biscuits, sprinkled over the top. All in all disappointing. Good point the Proseco was great.

One of the best pub in Clapham! Great service, the food is really good and they often change the menu. It's dog friendly and they will make your dog also feels very welcome. :-) Definitely recommended!
