Nice place, good quality food, fresh fish cooked to your desire, with reasonable prices, and the staff was very kind. I would recommend this restaurant.
It is certainly one of the best fish chips I've ever had. We also had a delicious fish soup and to end the pudding dessert was wonderful. The staff ia kind and the price is fair (perhaps slightly below what I expected).
I am a regular at The Sea Shell and always have rock salmon. Yesterday there was no rock salmon available, and that is very disappointing for a top fish restaurant with such a good reputation.
The best fish and chips I ever had in London: soft, fresh and perfectly cooked. Nice staff, friendly atmosphere. I will definitely recommend to friends and will come again.
Great food and service. Lots and lots if choices. Been going here for over 20 years. Easy to get to by tube. Fair price for quality.
Best fish and chips around. I travel up from Sussex for my regular 'rock and chips', and it is well worth it. The only one I have found to compare is in North Devon.
Sat by the fish tank, great fish, the haddock and skate. The tartar sauce is nice to. Certainly worth a visit if you like fish n chips.
Friendly and service minded personnel, great food and very good value for money. Fish and chips are the best I've had in the UK. Certainly a place to go back to !
Visit was a business evening meal, to introduce my overseas guests to the UK tradition of fish and chips. the environment was very modern and clean, and we had good seats in quiet corner of the restauraunt. Service was pleasant and efficient. We all ordered cod and chips with mushy peas and pickles, and was very tasty. The only slight down is that the cost of the meal was a little on the high side.
Always a good meal here and quick service. Wide choice of dishes and nice to be able to choose the way your fish is cooked.
Attentive staff and great food - very quick service - great place for quick lunch. Great to be able to choose between grilled and fried fish and choice of potatoes
Very nice and friendly staff! Excellent kitchen. Great Location for Dinner with the whole family, friends or even for business. Or for having a romantic evening in a stylish atmosphere!
It was very clean, friendly and helpful staff, with excellent food. We both had Smoked Salmon to start and I have never seen such large portions. For mains, I had the Halibut and my brother had Dover Sole on the bone. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious. The bottomless chips were great as were the Onion Rings we had as sides. For dessert we had Apple Cake and Spotted Dick which were good.
Outstanding in every respect. The restaurant offers a large variety of fish cooked to your liking. The quality is superb - fresh, well prepared and presented. The service is welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.
2 meals out of 3 were delightful but one other person found that the batter around their fish was rather heavy and wet underneath, could have been lighter and crisper. Fish itself was beautifully white and flavoursome but only batter let it down a bit.
The restaurant had a great atmosphere (lovely fish tank!!), the service was good and the food portions and quality were fantastic!! I would definitely recommend The Sea Shell.
The food was less than average the waiter ignored an order, the chips were terrible in fact I could cook better myself so what is the point of going out
Food was excellent, but expensive. I think the waiter should have told us about the Express Menu - cheaper option! Anyway, can't fault the food.
Super special fish and chips. The best I have tasted in London. Try the haddock and mushy peas, delicious. They don't over face you with chips but with every main course you can have unlimited chips, just ask the waiter for more. What a great idea.
Excellent fish dishes with a wide range on offer. Prices median. The wine list is comprehensive and all vintages offered complement the fish. The ambience of the restaurant is attractive. Service is very good on the whole although one waiter was a little brusque.
Very tasty and well cooked fish (haddock), chips and mushy peas, nice wine (Chablis) and well looked after by staff. Good pre-theatre meal location for Regent's Park Open Theatre.
always a good meal and service!!! plenty to chose from, and not only fish, you need to book as gets busy especially on a Friday and Saturday.
Great service with fresh fish. A party of 9 including a 2 year old and one of eight. nothing was too much trouble. good selection of drinks. When in London I try to go here as it is constantly good.
Very fresh fish and delicious dishes with nice staff with warm hospitality. This is one of the best seafood restaurants for anyone who want to experience the British taste.
Great service & attention to. Food excellent and priced well as live near the sea so plenty fish places but not so good. Will come again when next in London.
Very good Fish and Chips food. Tasty and quick. Even for kids the menu is healthy and attractive. I will repeat the experience soon. Keep going
Good value fish restaurant when staying in the Marylebone area. Excellent choice starters, mains and desserts. Can get busy at the weekend, so probably advisable to book, especially for larger parties.
We could enjoy typical english food in comfortable atomosphere. This was very helpful because we were with tired old people who had taken long flight.
Our meal was excellent and served very promptly which surprised us because the restaurant was crowded. However the experience was marred by boisterous, drunken customers at the next table.
The fish was good, the chips were mediocre however the service was very slow. It appeared that the waiting staff were more attentive to regular customers.
Excellent venue, Excellent atmosphere, Excellent cannot describe the Fish & Chips - Sublime applies here !!! It is more than 25 years since i last visited the Sea Shell - the decor has changed dramatically but the standar of the food and service is still top, top level !!
Very slow service , 30 minutes for our main courseand the food was not up to the standard of my many previous visits. Very disappointed.
Two ( US) for dinner. Had the Halibut with chips and Haddock with new potatoes, what a wonderful dinner. Desert was brownie for one and Spotted Dick for the other. Food was great and service was very good. Absolutely will go again!!
Excellent food and service. We had seafood soup as starter, fish and chips (cod) as the main. We really enjoyed it. The service was great as well.
Fresh fish in London is unique. The only suggestion is change olive oil for virgin olive oil instead of regular one, Spanish preferably, mucho better
Best fish and chips I've had in a long time, fantastic ice cream flavours. Good service and very clean and simple decor within he restaurant. Great experience.
Great fish and chipperie. Well cooked. Good quality. Expensive. Nice fish tank
I was so impressed with The sea Shell last night... Excellent food, great atmosphere, tasteful interior with lovely pictures. The staff were top class... Highly recommend and will definitely return soon
Amazing food!!!goat cheeese salad, whitebait and classic cod and haddock recommended. Fried ice cream came as surprise. Excellent service. Every time we visit London seashell is a must pay visit!!
Fish and chips were superb and the other dishes also delicious! My friends from Japan agreed that English famous dishes were nice ! I will use again!
It was excellent! Fish was freshly prepared and kindly explained dishes.
Excellent in every way: lovely fresh fish, interesting starters, good choioce of puddings. Staff were helpful. The place was decorated in black and white, loos were clean well- lit and fully equiped.
We've been a very few times, as we're from SE London, but its worth the effort. Very simple menu, but everything that you need and all EXCELLENT! Quiet, roomy, friendly.
Easy to book, plenty of space, good service and tasty fish pie. Great for a lunchtime meeting. Staff were attentive and very prompt with orders.
nice atmosphere - helpful staff- good fresh fish and chips- well located and spacious restaurant - I would recommend if you want a friendly relaxed meal
Food was good. From ordering to reaciving the food did take longer then expected. They did not get order quite right .Over all we where pleased with are meal.
Really good food and excellent friendly service, I have eaten here many times. Of course the Cod and chips is my favorite choice, the gambas and the scallops are excellent .
I've been an avid fan of SEASHELL for some 31 years - by far the BEST fish and chip shop outlet in whole of LONDON!
Have to be honest ............... the evening was so lovely we choose to use the linked chip shop sitting outside and eating them there. I did use the facilities in the restaurant and was impressed by the decor and the air conditioning. The food from the chip shop, which I can only assume was the same as you would get in the restaurant, was superb and we would recommended this to others.
Food was good but the did not have our resavartion I had to insist that I had booked as shot them the booking sheet .
