The food was good but a little slow to arrive and when I was asked if I wanted any sauces they never arrived. Good location.

Fantastic place to go to enjoy views of the Thames and some of London's best landmarks! The food and cocktails are delicious and makes it worth while putting in an extra little bit of effort to find this place. Well worth a visit.

We were really disappointed with this place. The bar felt pretty soulless and the food was mediocre. The staff were rude as well and spent most of their time talking to each other rather than serving staff. Overall very disappointed

Had a lunch meeting, overall service was very good but I found that my order of Mac 'n' Cheese was a bit dry. The other in our party were impressed with their lunch orders.

Great food, nice view on the river! We were over for a business trip @ Rabobank, very close to their office. The place is a little bit hard to find due to construction.

The bar/restaurant is rather hidden away but is in a great position for views onto the RIver Thames. Good selection of beer/ale and staff are friendly. This was my second visit and food is straightforward 'pub grub' and is served with minimal delay. Overall I like the place and will return.

Good food and nice venue. Pizza oven was broken though during the 50% off food when we were there which was disappointing but the food we ordered instead was very good. Bit pricey if the 50% off wasn't on though

Service was extremely slow. Food was good when it arrived but we were there for 1.5 hours to only have main courses and a shared near starter

Great place and good food. The staff made an error calculating our bill but they got is sorted out in the end. I recommend this place.

This pub is in a great location with wonderful views across the river. There is a good choice on the menu. Service and food were very good.

Excellent food. Great views and location. Bar staff very friendly and an excellent choice of beers and wines. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend.

Freezing cold restaurant, asked to pay extra to swap chips to sweet potato chips, slow service and the food was really average. A shame because this is one of my favourite pubs in London

Great service, food and atmosphere. I would highly recommend Peppys Riverside Bar and Dining for any event from catching up with a friend to leaving due and parties.

Food was good but took an hour and a half to get our mains. We were offered a free drink due to the food being late, but as this was a work lunch it was very inconvenient to have to wait so long.

The steak was simple and tasty. The price of wine is conscientious. The seat where the Thames river looks better was good. Bright and open interior is comfortable.

The food was great, service was good and we had a lovely table in the heart of the restaurant. Very accommodating for a big group of us.

Another great afternoon at the Samuel pepys bar, cannot fault the food and service. It was nice sitting on the balcony overlooking the River looking forward to my next visit there

Friendly staff, good snacks/shares and spacious table with a great view. Beer on tap not as cold as expected to be in a hot day.

A bit of flexibility in menu alterations would have made this rating a 6 (colleague asked for alternative side to that shown on menu and could be done but at additional cost). Otherwise great food. good service

This is an undiscovered little gem, by the river, at the edge of the financial district. They have a very good restaurant and a spacious bar, with an open terrace over the river as well. The Millenium Bridge with the Tate Modern is around the corner, and St. Paul's Cathedral is a few minutes walk up the hill. Fantastic!

The Pepys Riverside Bar & Dining is worth a visit; it's a lovely spot, we had a great view and we all enjoyed the food.

I would best describe Pepys as a bar which serves good quality food. It has views across the river towards the Shard, the Globe and Tate Modern,. The service was excellent despite it being busy. It has a very vibrant atmosphere therefore not the place to go if you are looking for a quiet meal. I would certainly recommend Pepys and I would eat there again

Great venue, views of the river with excellent service. Food is reasonably price, will recommend and actually going back for a work team do as we had such a nice time

I found that the food was very good food and the service very friendly and helpful. The table was where I had requested one (overlooking the river) and I would certainly have no hesitation returning to this restaurant.

Food was excellent. Service was slow (just 1 person on service) and they did not have my reservation listed but luckily they had the space

Scenic with unbeatable river views. Excellent food and good reasonably priced drinks. Relatively quiet but with a city buzz on a Friday night. Would visit again.

Amazing view! We had a table with themse views directed to the shard. Very cozy but noble location - good for both casual dining and nice going out events. Service was very welcoming and food very recommendable!

On a Friday night it was absolutely awful for a family who was after a meal! Only drunk afterworkers. I tried to ask the bartender about our reservation, but he didn't even bother to look in my direktion. Surreal.

Always have a great time here, lovely bar and staff with great food and atmosphere. Amazing views on the little balcony, will be back soon!

Food & service both excellent. Point only lost as the food took a while to come out but that could be as we were in a large group.

Great views, decent food, restaurant area not too cramped...what's not to like ? OK beer selection - expensive but it IS the City. Remains a little secret down the lane..

Had to wait a bit too long for the food, but once it arrived, it was delicious. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.

Dined at lunchtime. Nice place, not to big with plenty of attentive staff. Table was ready for us early so we had the choice to have some pre-lunch drinks at our table or on comfy sofas. Food excellent, very good and varied menu choices. Had a nice table overlooking river and great views but it appeared all tables offered a good outlook. Will definitely return but perhaps in the evening.

This restaurant offers fantastic river views onto the Thames river. The atmosphere is cozy and staff very nice. The Starter boards are huge and perfect to share over lunch.

We had a lovely view across the river and we ate really great food. The service was good as well. Good value for money. Highly recommend.

I visited The Pepys Riverside Bar & Restaurant for a colleague's leaving lunch. My company had used this restaurant previously for social functions and had recommended it. The food was good, staff very pleasant and view amazing. I would recommend this restaurant.

No Pizza, although on the menu - something about problem with the oven. As a vegetarian ordered the only veg main - macaroni cheese. Main came in a small bowl. Not even on a plate, no salad. Overall a terrible experience.

Food was nice, staff were pleasant, just a bit of a slow service. Location was great and superb views. Will defiantly be booking again soon

THe service is extremely slow, especially on a Friday, but the food is good. It's a good idea to just order as soon as possible and prompt staff if you don't receive food within 30 minutes.

Lovely bar. Really nice setting with a great view over the river. Very attentive staff. Bit of a wait when going to bar, but waitress service at table was excellent. I would definitely go back.

Staff very friendly. Food good, maybe a little slow. Lovely setting on river, but very hot - no fans / air con and windows couldn't be opened. Reasonably priced.

Have been several times before and always been good but waited 45 minutes for food and when it arrived it was cold - not a good experience

The service at the table was a Very friendly service, there is an absolute great view over the Thames, the food was ok. Next time we would go for a drink and a snack but not for a diner, other guests were having a real good time but very loud. Which is a great atmosphere but not when you want to have diner conversations.
