Excellent food/drinks especially in the Summer outside on the patio
The portions are small, place is really loud. We recommend to come for drinks only. We (4 ppl) came for Sunday roast, booked for 15:15 and ordered at 15:30. We received very small portions of all of our dishes (beef, lamb and vegan), and when we complained the waitress apologised by giving us extra potatoes... We also ordered the white-choc cheesecake, which was supposed to come with a strawberry souse. there was none. When we asked the waitress she just said "we ran out" without acknowledging it should have been started before we ordered it...
Used to love this place but it’s gone downhill and no longer special. My sleeves stuck to the dirty table so much I had to cover the table with napkins.
Dry potatoes that had been sitting for a long while. Veggie option was all parsnips. Sadly not worth the cost ☹️ very average
Food was delicious and super quick. I truly recommend here for location, staff, food, and organisation.
Nice food and atmosphere but service was a bit slow and not very friendly!
Lovely food and warm Christmas vibe. Excellent service and staff really accommodating. One of my favourite pubs in London - highly recommend! 😊
The Sunday Roast was the worst I’ve had for a long time
Nice pub it's quite big when you go to the back. Food was served nice and hot. It was very busy. Only thing I didn't like was that there was too many dogs. With food around found it unhygienic. Dog owners picking up dog so hairs are floating around. However overall nice pub and food was nice.
Not a very good experience sadly… -Hour wait for food- no mention to pre warn us of the long food wait -No other vegetarian kids meal option other than nut roast. -My meal wasn’t hot, had to return back to the kitchen. No lamb sauce, horseradish and bread sauce: Had to ask twice. -Lamb fatty -Chicken dry and over cooked - Ordered the cheeseboard for our Daughter as only vegetarian option without nuts asked the server to make plain- cheddar, crackers. Arrived twice with blue cheese and Brie and charcoal cheese crackers. Finally returned and our child had a packet of crisp for her lunch
Awesome lovely service and great food. We loved it 😊
Very average. Limited menu especially for kids where there was one option other than kids roast (sausage, chips & peas). Disappointing beef, very disappointing roasties. Sauces in satchets just look a bit cheap! No salt and pepper. Used to be such great food here :-(
Good Sunday roast with cauliflower cheese 😋 nice and relaxed
We were in the Map Room which was a perfect place for our party of nine. The staff were excellent, the menu had something for all ages and we all came away happy.
Family and dog friendly environment good food reasonably priced. An enjoyable experience
Front of house really grumpy 🤣, Food lovely. Service great.
Enjoyed the Sunday roast on the terrace. Staff is always friendly and service quick.
All good seating a little tight but the Sunday roast we had was up to standard
Great spot! Love the beers + outdoor seating by the park. Sunday roast is great but make RSVP!
