The pub has a lovely atmosphere and its great for kids as there is s play area. On this visit however the service was slow - there was a wedding reception but the restaurant was fairly quiet - many of the drinks we tried to order were out of stock and the menu was more limited than I recall from previous visits.

I even got a discount for the slight delay in getting my afters. Lovely food, friendly staff and generally a lovely place to spend your Sunday afternoon

The Rosendale had basically no food come Sunday evening. I thought maybe the management had changed as I use to go to this place regularly and never had this diabolical experience before. Went home and cooked for myself. May as well just serve crisps and nuts at the bar.

Good food, generous portions and efficient service. Reasonable value for money.

As ever, friendly service, good food and value for money. We'll be back!

The food was nice, the potatoes were a little over cooked and the portion sizes a little smaller than a lot of other places but overall lovely service and nice venue. I would however add that Apple pie and custard not being on a menu for Sunday roast is a little crazy, if apple pie and custard/ cream alternatives for ice cream was to be added it would be the cherry on the top. :)

Lovely atmosphere, nothing was too much hassle for any of the staff. Great evening

The pub and the location are nice. I had monk fish which was really good. My friend had BBQ ribs, their special of the day, but let’s say, if I were American I’d refuse eating it. All in all, it was nice evening. Nothing more.

Service was slow took us a long time to attract someone attention. Steak was tough🙄 Eat it because I was sooooo hungry

Service was awful, food so average ... took 40 mins to arrive after ordering and took 20 mins to even order a drink. 1 waitress was good but the other so miserable when I highlighted our disappointment. Not going to rush back despite it being our local :(

Friendly staff and a varied, fresh and well-presented menu, both meat and vegetarian dishes were excellent.

We were given a friendly welcome. The staff are smiley and helpful. My duck was rather undercooked for my liking, but poached nectarines were delicious. My friend and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Very pleasant mid week lunch; not too busy, not too noisy. Slightly disappointed with the size of the starter special rissotto - could have been more generous as 4 people had it as a main!

Lovely food and great atmosphere. Felt at home with the kids. Service not as good as usual but was very busy.

Food was amazing, prices very well. We asked for red wine for the table and would expect the waiter to let us know prior of the price, you have red wines that are not only 35 but waiter just gave us one of the more expensive bottles instead of the table red wine available in your menu- this did not go well with me as you have a duty of care to inform customers and not just assume what pricing and costs should be passed on- very disappointed about that.

We were happy to find out that Sunday roast was served on bank holiday Monday - lovely as usual.

We went on a sunday . Roast beef was very good juicy and tender but the desert was a bit disappointed for the price we paid not so great quality.

Great burgers both beef and vegan. Friendly efficient service. Quite noisy with babies and dogs!

had a great lunch on Easter sunday, we didnt have a roast dinner, just a lot of the starters and salads which was shared between 4 inc 2 children. There service was quick, efficient and friendly. The food was very tasty, very impressed especially with the lovely staff. Thanks so much

The food was lovely, particularly the vegan nut roast was amazing. It felt quite busy and noisy though, probably normal for a Sunday but I've been to other busy pubs before that didn't feel as noisy
