Excellent food and service. A great area outside at the front, and a very kid-friendly enclosed area outside at the back. Piping hot Sunday Roast as a birthday treat, so we were a very happy family - thank you!

Good food, excellent service and very child friendly. Probability not one for a romantic meal for two, at least not at lunchtime anyway! Will definitely visit again.

It's been our regular place for a long time now. It's a family friendly place with an outdoor beer garden and a playarea for kids. The food has always been very good.

We enjoyed sitting outside in their garden on a Sunday evening. Food and service were excellent. The fish was so crispy. The burger was delicious and cooked to perfection. Gravy was the best I've tasted. Will definitely go again.

Great service. Our waitress was most attentive. The food was imaginative, well presented and tasty. Good wine list. Pleasant surrounds. I will definitely be going back.

Food wasn't great, poor service. There seemed to be lots of staff not doing much and the ones we did have contact with pretty useless! A shame really - I remember the great atmosphere The Rosendale had before its most recent refurb. Lost its touch!

Lovely food, good food service but drinks service was poor. We would have purchased many more drinks if we didn't wait so long for the ones we ordered.

Lovely place, lovely staff, great atmosphere. Service occasionally forgetful, especially when things are busy: Sunday afternoons bring a case in point. However, wine list is greasy and draught beers imaginatively assembled.

The roast beef dinner here is faultless - absolutely delicious. The kids' meal was amazing value (not sure he got an awful lot less than us!) and the service is always spot on. We've just moved into the area and this is the second time we've had Sunday lunch (and eaten during the week a few other times) and look forward to continuing to come back for more!

The brand new menu is great. The pizzas are really well cooked and flavourful. All in all the service and atmosphere are what make this place unique!

Great location, great staff, great ambience and great food. The Rosendale has a menu that caters fantastically well for veggies and doesn't break the bank.

Great balance of child-friendly and not too "family style". Good service. Lovely food. Would recommend for those with or without kids joining them. We will definitely return as one of our regular summer haunts!

The Food was great, but the service was very slow. We went on a Saturday at 6pm with kids and olds, so not that busy yet. They also ran out of 2 of the beers we wanted. Would I'd still go again though. I'd suggest buying your drinks directly at the bar rather than waiting for the waiter/waitress to bring them over, which took about 20mins.

The special feta salad was really flavourful. My friends had fish and chips and they had this big slab of fish with loads of chips nearly coming out of the plate!

We are always guaranteed a good time and great food at The Rosendale and it never disappoints. This restaurant caters for families so it is always quite noisy in there. Perfect for us, as we have a 3 year old, but perhaps too noisy for couples.

The food was delicious and well presented. Only one hiccough, one person's main was a bit slow to arrive. Otherwise, very happy with the food and service.

Definitely not worth my time. Went there and asked for tap water and lady had attitude. Even towards the end when I asked for a refill she forgot and then when she remembered she just had attitude and walked off. Customer service was definitely not up to standard and nor was the food.

Always a great experience coming here. We always make a reservation bc it's very busy on a Sunday. We get seated on time and served with a smile. Wait staff are really accommodating and very friendly. Its on the load side, so beware. Food quality is always excellent!

The food was lovely and the actual pub itself was very pretty. A nice place to spend a rainy Sunday. The service was cheerful but very forgetful and not very attentive. We were charged for dished that never came and our order was messed up a little. Staff kept coming to our table with drinks that weren't ours

We went for dinner on Monday night. When we got there a pub quiz was starting which might have been nice to be informed of. Luckily it was that intrusive but it does take place in the front area of the bar so worth bearing in mind for a Monday night meal in future. The food was great as alway though we did have to wait about 20 minutes which felt a little long.

It was noisy so couldn't have a easy conversation. Food was OK but one meal with chicken was very short on meat and not appetising. All food was lack lustre

Thanks for another great meal. It is a kid-tastic restaurant, so if you want something on the quiet side, this may not be the right place for you, but if you have kids, then look no further for great food, great atmosphere and a kid-friendly pub! Our new go-to place for Sunday lunch.

First off, the food was outstanding. Best roast dinner we've had in a long time. But extra points for being a kid-friendly pub. Loved the back garden built to accomodate the small people. We'll be back again for sure!

Although food was OK, service was slow and noise levels were atrocious. You couldn't hear the person talking to you across the table. And that was before the music was played. Avoid if you want adult conversation.

Everything was fine. We ate well, the beer was excellent ( and there was a good choice of ales), and the staff were very pleasant and efficient, and the decor/layout spacious and comfortable. We'll definitely go back here when in this corner of SE London.

All the staff are really young and sometimes need to remember that people can see them congregating and chatting whilst people are trying to get their attention. Food was hot, but veggies only barely cooked, and portion a bit unbalanced.

Excellent service and atmosphere. We had salmon and haddock fish pie with kale which was delicious. We would recommend the Rosendale for small or large groups.
