Lovely food and friendly service. Decided to come back for lunch the next day.

Kept waiting at door. Then waited ages for a menu. Bread roll offered when we’d finished our starters. Sent up to Carvery and waited ages for a server. Didn’t want to order a dessert as we didn’t want to wait. Really disappointed. Surrounded by ‘dirty’ tables. Obviously under staffed.

What a fantastic little place! If your hoping for a quick tasteless meal do not go here, it’s a proper ala carte restaurant doing it properly so if you want great taste be patient. So clean, tidy and well presented staff are so welcoming. The chefs hard work definitely goes to show with the taste of the food and the presentation. If anyone is worried about dining since COVID this is the place to go you actually see them cleaning the menus etc. They have everything organised it’s a tight little ship that I hope continues to be a huge success for them! Defo a hidden gem first time we’ve tried it by word of mouth someone recommended it and we live five minutes away. We will be back, thank you the rose garden!

Lovely welcoming staff exceptional food, my wife had the Duck and I had the prawns and the Beef Wellington both excellent only one very slight criticism the cauliflower was a bit overdone for me but everything else was perfect

The ambience in the restaurant was very nice. Food was excellent. Service was very friendly, albeit a bit slow in serving drinks. Would definitely go back. The only criticism (but will know in future) was that we did not know when the last order for drinks was due to the 10pm curfew. So it would have been nice to have been told when last orders were when we arrived. But a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Did wait quite along time for the food, but upon reflection this could be due to the Covid safe guidelines in the kitchen area.

When we looked on line it said it is a carvery but in the present climate it is waiter service, I think this should be make clear. We asked for not a too large meal and that is what we got. Would recommend it to other people

It would have been better with more attention to measures to prevent the spread of Covid such as less tables so customers are not too close together, disposable menus and cleaning of tables thoroughly between customers.

We booked a table for our wedding anniversary last Friday (31st July) and had a really lovely evening at The Rose Garden. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was fabulous. We were served by a lovely waitress who made us feel special and there was no rush for us to leave. We will definitely be returning and have recommended The Rose Garden to friends & family.

It was my civil partner's and my 20th. anniversary, so we decided to return to our favourite restaurant. Service was a little slow, but that meant we could pause between courses. You are never pushed to finish and get out. The food was up to its usual high standard. The starters of soup for me (piping hot!) and prawn cocktail for my partner were delicious. A new introduction was a complimentary apple sorbet after the starter. This was sharp enough to clean the palate but was really smooth. The steak that I had was done just as I asked for and there was an excellent selection of vegetables. My partner had the Chicken Wellington and his plate was so full he could not finish it. Finally we had bread pudding and ice cream for me and fresh fruit salad for Derek - just right to round off a lovely evening

Having been to the Rose Garden for lunch, for my 2nd visit I took friends for an evening meal. The waitress was lovely, the food superb. Price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the dishes. Wine well priced for restaurant. Can't believe that there was only our table of 4 and a table of 6 for the evening. I've only recently learnt of this restaurant from a friend,although I understand its been there for a while. I will definitely be going back and will be spreading the word!

Really like Chulani's food, every course always very well presented, never disappointed! Highly recommend The Rose Garden.
