A very nice meal in a welcoming place. Peaceful and no hassling.

Nice welcome... Food overpriced.2 had lamb reported to waiter that it was tough. Nothing was done about it, not even a comment. I had pork it was tasty but very small piece of pork. We wouldn’t rush back.

We chose here as a last minute booking on the way back to our holiday cottage and we had a very warm and friendly welcome. The menu was inviting and the food absolutely delicious and reasonably priced given the quality and presentation! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend calling here if you can even though it is slightly out of the aY. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent meal for 4 people. Restaurant was not very busy but, despite service being very attentive, waiting times were over long which, we suspect, was due to the kitchen staff being overloaded. Also, not having my favourite beer(s) on tap and a broken cappacino machine resulting in over strong and not too hot 'regular' coffee. Nevertheless, good quality food from a talented young chef.

Lovely pub/restaurant and the food was excellent. The menu was varied but not huge, which is a bonus these days, meaning food is freshly cooked to order. Being Thursday, early evening, 18.30, it was quiet, 3 couples, but it 'felt' comfortable. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent food and very friendly welcome. No problem with the dog joining us and we were also advised on a lovely walk by the river after our meal. We have booked to come back for an evening meal.

We had an absolutely delicious Sunday lunch. The staff are excellent with an obviously talented chef. I have never been disappointed by the menu and there is an extensive selection of wines and spirits. Well worth a visit.
