Went for the quiz. As always the food and service was excellent. You are spoilt for choice so, as we go every week, it's easy to have something different each ti,e. This week I had hunters chicken and my friend had Katsu chicken. Both tasty and hot. Well worth a visit.

Had the chicken flatbread starter with a side of sweet potato fries .... a really tasty meal.

Food is always goon here. Been coming regularly for a few weeks now and never a bad meal.

The food is always good and the service too. As you've gathered my friend and I are regular customers. This week she had the small sausage and mash .... a sizeable portion and hearty meal. I had the small belly pork which again was a good portion and very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

As always service was very good. My friend and I both had the Katsu curry ..... a good sized portion and very tasty which we will both have again. We would both recommend the food here.

A group of us regularly visit this restaurant and in every occasion it is superb We started visiting several years ago and continue to enjoy the friendly excellent service and friendly staff

Long wait time - nearly hour for drinks. Missing items from food order when arrived.

Sausage and mash ..... delicious! Always worth a visit .... we go for dinner and then do the quiz.

Had a lovely meal ! Staff were friendly would of give a top rating if they had remembered my drink ! had to wait 20 mins after everyone else’s had turned up then had to remind staff three times about it. Tbh was busy and I except these things happen

Hadn’t been before and was pleasantly surprised with the surroundings and quality of food. A little noisy but early evening so a few children were present. Would not put me off visiting again.

Lovely good value food though we had to wait nearly 45 mins for food after ordering. After mains no-one came to take our sweet order so we then asked someone if we could have coffee. We were seated close to the kitchen doors and the beverage machine and this noise was intrusive.

Really enjoyed our visit our only criticism was the vegetables hadn't seen any boiling water they were raw. Apart from that we had a lovely family get together. The staff and food were great and would definitely go back.

Although it was New Year’s Day, we were very dissatisfied with the menu choices as we all really just wanted a jacket potato or wrap etc. Neither we’re availav as it was a bank holiday.

Fantastic evening, originally booked for 16 with 5 hours notice, ending up with a party of 19 and the staff coped with the additions Tremendously and of course the food was worth the wait catering for 19 at short notice. Was an enjoyable evening thank you all at the Racehorse Warwick

Waited an hour before order taken and then another 45 mins before we received any food. They were very busy but the staff were very, very slow. Food was “acceptable”. Not my best visit

Service was very poor, ordered dishes missed and poor cocktails.

Had to wait for our table as it wasn't ready yet. Didn't get our starters until after an hour of arrival. Long time to wait for the mains. Had to ask for cutlery. Carrots were extremely under cooked. Mashed potatoes tasted as if they were mixed with off margarine, tasted very strange. Hunters chicken consisted of a very small chicken breast. Shame because I used to love this place before the change of owners and refurb.

The racehorse is a lovely place and I will be visiting again but probably not during the festive period, it was quite busy and we had to wait for a while for our food and drinks. Other than that the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Would recommend going.

Rude service, drinks in an empty place took half an hour, had to collect our selves. Food was slow. Desserts arrived one at a time. Overall food quality was good but service very poor!

Food is good and is value for your money but the service is abysmal. It was very noisy as there was a Christmas party. Previously the noise levels have been OK.

Food was lovely but service was very slow and although we had preordered the food took ages to arrive and meals were missing. We did not get charged for the missing/late courses but it did affect the enjoyment of our Christmas work lunch.

Christmas meal with friends. Food was delicious especially the crumble. There was a wait for dessert but Paul explained that to us. Service was great Paul was lovely. Only negative was the live music it was a rock band - was far too loud even table vibrated

We booked our Christmas lunch for my 89 year old Mother as a special treat back in September. We confirmed attendance yesterday and arrived in great anticipation slightly early today and so had a drink in the bar area before being shown to our table at the allotted 2pm. We waited patiently to order our meal and were roundly ignored. There appeared to be only two serving staff on duty and to be fair they were rushed off their feet. Finally at 2:20pm we were able to order our Christmas Turkey meal. We waited and waited. Other tables after us were served their food. Still we waited. At 3:00 pm I lost patience and went to complain. Nothing, just "really sorry, please bear with me".... so we waited again. Ten minutes later our "food" arrived on cold plates!! The Yorkshire puddings were cold to the touch and conversely the roast potatoes looked like they had an argument with a flame thrower!! We refused to eat it. I left my email address with the same member of staff I had spoken to before and we walked out. We went straight to Miller and Carter in our home town of Banbury and had a BRILLIANT meal. My mother enjoyed THAT one!! So, Racehorse.... what a shame. You have lost 3 loyal customers, you will lose more unless you buck your ideas up!!
