My roast potatoes were not great they seemed deep fried and hard in the middle, apart from that the perfect roast. Great services, great staff.

We found this place after watching Anthony Bourdain and Nigella Lawson share a scotch egg on CNN’s Parts Unknown. The Victoria Princess has since changed ownership and no longer serves the Whitebait and fat chips. However, the scotch eggs didn’t disappoint and the staff was fabulous.

Nice decor and good service. Food is ok, I wouldn’t say it’s of gastropub quality but better than an average pub. It is a quite pricey.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fantastic, the service is brilliant and spot on, the room is wonderful to sit in and very tastefully decorated. A great place for a family/friends/just grown ups gathering/but also date night - they also make a great negroni

The service was very good and the table comfortable. The good was average and not really hot enough. We did not like to complain at the time as the waiters were so nice

Great food, beautiful venue. It was just so busy we had a little wait for drinks etc. No big deal though as the service was good too.

Great service and atmosphere but a couple of notes on the food - the burger meat was too aged, far too Gamey tasting and the treacle tart was disappointing, dry and tasteless. It was also quite chilly in the back restaurant area, perhaps a draft coming from the sky light or doors leading to the garden at the back.

Great! We got a lovely table by the fire which we requested, and the service was great! The quiz was hilarious, as usual! We will be back!

Beautiful refurb of pub and food very good although waited a while for mains to come. Had Sunday roast and would recommend it. Could have wider range of ales.

Food was a bit disappointing for the price. A long wait for small portions of lukewarm rather unimaginative and quite expensive fare, but it's a beautiful pub - one of the most impressive in West London and I'm pleased it's reopened again. I hope the food can once again achieve the standards under the previous management.

I love this pub, always go there when I’m back in uk. They need to turn the heating up though it was quite cold inside

Food was mixed. Decent portions but the meat was dry and there wasn't enough gravy. Chicken liver parfait was tasteless and the Xmas pudding barely had any sauce with it. The restaurant was really cold when we arrived. The staff turned a gas heater on but it was really noisy and when they turned it off it quickly became very cold again. The place lacked atmosphere - no music and very quiet. The service was friendly though.

The place is very nice, the ambiance is great, refurbishment went really well. The Christmas decoration is awesome. The staff was nice, though they didn't really checked the table if we wanted anything else, or took the dirty dishes. The food was pretty average, not bad, but nothing extraordinary, could have been hotter.

Sunday roast was very good Beef was thickly sliced and cooked well (slightly pink). Yorkshire pudding was large and tasty, as were the roast potatoes

The food was cold, the building was cold, it didn’t have warm atmosphere. The nut roast was greasy with no vegetables in it. Service was poor and absent throughout the meal. We complained to management and they responded kindly and apologized.

A very nice meal and great service! This was a busy pub- restaurant but there was a really good menu with lots of choice and everything was freshly prepared. The staff were very helpful and friendly despite it being busy with office Christmas night out clientele

I have been to this pub many times in the past having meals with my family. The food has always been excellent. This evening I had dinner with my daughter who was just back from Croatia. We are both very fond of good food but this evening we were bitterly disappointed by the meal. Dull first course and my fish & chips was very poor as the fish was dry and badly over cooked. A bitter disappointment.

We had a wonderful, relaxed evening celebrating a birthday with some close friends. Overall atmosphere and ambiance was great and nice touch of historical feel by an 1829 built pub. Food was excellent, and all staff were attentive, helpful and with a good sense of humour. I had often driven past, but will certainly return!

Service was very poor. Two dishes arrived with extra hair at no additional charge. Starters and roast pork was enjoyable.
