Everything was great. The food and the waitress who took the order was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, there was one waitress who came over to our table and removed our bottle of water which was unfinished and never replaced it! She had an air of customers being an inconvenience and could have blighted our experience if it wasn’t for the lovely waitress. Perhaps she should get a job she likes.

Booked in for Sunday lunch and the food was amazing. It’s a lovely pub, great atmosphere and the service was first class.

Let down by poor service Meal served but no cutlery Shame Bar staff often busy with lap tops ignoring the punters.

It was good but did not take kindly to the staff touching customer dogs then touching glasses etc and not washing their hands. We pulled up staff politely on this but despite them saying that they would wash their hands they didn't as we were sat such that we could see the bathrooms. Have to question hygiene here as staff should not be touching customer dogs then touching glasses and plates of food etc.

Popped in for Sunday lunch yesterday and couldn’t have been happier. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just spot on – warm and inviting. Ez was absolutely brilliant, such a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend for a lovely meal out!

The food is always excellent. How do they ensure that the vegetables are al dente and the meat moist when cooking in such large volumes? Staff super-busy but always manage to arrive at your table with an air of calm and big smiles. Excellent wine list. It can get loud in there with chatter if it's full, luckily, they have high ceilings mitigating some of that.

We was greeted with a happy smile!and seated, then was told that they was out of key items in a Sunday roast which completely changed everything my whole purpose was to take my kids for a Sunday roast. I had the beef which was very chewy and I couldn’t eat a lot of it . Service was vey good apart from those things.

The worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. Our reservation was at 21:00 on New Year's Eve, the waitress didn't knew were was our table. When we get sat, we wait for 40 minutes for someone to offer us a menu or something, no one even looks at us, taking into account that the restaurant was almost empty. When we decided to ask for a menu because we were hungry, the waitress tell us that the kitchen closes in 10 minutes, when she brings us the menu she rushes us because because of that, then another waitress comes to rush us again and to remind us that the kitchen closes in 10 min, in a very pushy way. 40 minutes waiting for someone to notice us and all of the sudden we are so important, that was pathetic. We ask for dinner, and again, no one tries to offer us something to drink, I mean, it's a pub, so with dinner served and not even a glass of water, we ask a waitress for a bottle of wine, and she asks what wine, a bit difficult to know without a menu. But I look it up on the web as I didn't want to wait another 40 minutes to get served. Our plan was to spend there the evening, as for what they put on their website we could have had a good time for the new year's, but it was so disappointing. As we finished dinner we paid and we leaved the restaurant as we wanted nothing to do with that place. Oh, and of course the 11% on the bill for "good service" or something like that, HA! Funny joke.

Friendly staff, the place was clean and tidy. Didn't wait long for food 😋 and i had the sea bass which I'd highly recommend.

Always a good experience since Branson turned this pub into a winking Princess Victoria.

Had an 8.00pm reservation. Sea Bass not on the menu, had run out. Left fish and chips for fish not meat eaters. A bit average to be honest. Very long wait for pudding, which was ok when it arrived, but the place was empty by the time it arrived. Staff were very nice, no problem at all there.

Amazing sharing roast and the crumble was sensational! Really good portion sizes and very good value for money, can’t wait to return. Our only comment would be it’d be really nice to have hot plates come out with the sharing roast to keep it hotter for longer, but really was 10/10!

I had pre booked my table and reviewed the menu on line. On arrival in the restaurant which was very noisy with Rugby on a giant TV screen was informed the only cooked food I could have before 7.30 was Pizza due to a wedding reception being held . As this was pre booked I should have been informed.

Had a really good Sunday Lunch at the Princess Victoria today with 5 friends . The roast Dinners were on point. We enjoyed our food and will definitely come back again .

We’re regular customers on match days & I always book a table for various numbers depending on the size of our crowd. Food & drink is always top quality & also the service. 2 for 1 beers always welcome & Pizza & Fish & Chips excellent again tonight. Shalom often looks after us & does a fantastic job & always makes us welcome. We’re back in on 19th Oct - table for six & already looking forward to it. Great pub & professionally run. 👍👍
