Nice location, beautiful food. Meal took a while to arrive (45 minutes- more kitchen staff?). Staff should explain if delays when customers ordering. Will return

Beautiful dining room. Interesting menu, including good choice for veggies, excellent service, good value. Only negative, my main course was warm rather than hot. My two guests loved it.

Great food! Scotch eggs were really impressive and the Sunday roasts (we had the pork belly and the pan roasted fish) were awesome. The ambience is great and overall a very nice experience. Will come back for sure.

Good food and professional manner in a informal way. The place is perfect for a well done meal at a reasonable price or for just a drink, just be sure you booked a table for any of the Sunday's meals!

Lovely ambiance and good Sunday Roast. The bar is amazing and we enjoyed the Bloody Mary and Scotch eggs! Too bad service was a let down. They simply couldn't handle the volume of people.

We arrived at 12:30 and the food didn’t come out until 2pm. Such a shame as it was delicious when it arrived but disappointingly slow with no apology.

Really lovely set lunch. Went mid week and would highly recommend the three courses which were varied, delicious and perfectly balanced. The deal even included a glass of wine which was a lovely surprise treat!

Convenient neighbourhood restaurant but limited and unchanging menu and slow service during peak periods are major bugbears. They had run out of the best item on the menu (the 10oz sirloin) by 7pm. Otherwise some of the items had the hallmarks of being mass produced and merely assembled on site to cut costs. This was not reflected in the final bill however which was expensive given the pedestrian quality of the food and untrained service. Princess Victoria often provides amazing deals but last night we paid full price due to a mistake over dates and it was simply not worth it

Food of good standard but we had to fetch our own condiments. The pub busy but a long wait to clear the table and get the bill.

Went on a very hot summer's evening and loved the airy open feel. Lovely staff at the restaurant and a varied and delicious menu! We went as a group of 3 with a vegan and vegetarian amongst us and both claim it was the best pub dinner they have ever had! We will be back!

The positives: the food was delicious and the portion size definitely big enough and the dining room was beautiful. The negatives: the service wasn’t even close to what we expected. Everything took VERY long. After having our pre-lunch cocktails we were never asked if we’d like to have wine or other drinks with the food so ended up having water that was already on the table. After the main course we waited for someone to ask if we’d like to have coffee or dessert but that didn’t happen either so we just ended up getting the bill. The staff seemed very young and inexperienced. We were a group of 9 and felt quite invisible and forgotten. The waiters were very nice but they just didn’t have enough experience to see what was needed.

Uncomplicated dishes well executed on the whole. Great wine list. Great value with the 50% off deal. Best option in our neighborhood. I thoroughly recommend it

So, a couple of things went wrong - one main course was late and we were brought a more expensive bottle of wine (which we didn't pick up on until it appeared on the bill). BUT the way it was all handled by the team was brilliant! We had a great evening and, of course, we'll be back.

Nicely air-conditioned inside - toilets were like a sauna though. Good food, service was fine. Nice little area outside the front, but I was too hot to sit outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our original reason for going to the Princess Victoria is to follow Anthony Bourdain's stops shown on "Parts Unknown". The scotch eggs, chips and Guinness did not disappoint. The World Cup match involving England was an unexpected bonus as I made a reservation in advance of any knowledge of quarterfinal outcomes. The perfect atmosphere for enjoying a meal and watching the football match.

Very quiet for a Saturday evening and so lacking in atmosphere. The food wasn’t anything special and I had to return my undercooked (baked) salmon. After visiting this pub for many years, we have no desire to rush back.

Extremely friendly staff - very helpful and food is good. Has improved enormously since the take-over and has embraced all during the World Cup run of matches - the hard working staff during these really busy times has been quite incredible and not a cross word!!

Reserved a table through the website and received a pop-up notification telling me to call if I wanted to reserve an outside table, so I called and did that. Once at the pub, I ended up asking the manager (without knowing he was the manager) if we did get the outside table reserved, to which he replied in a quite rude way saying that outside tables can't be reserved. We then went outside and chose a random empty table, but another waiter, Ben, came to us and asked if it was me he talked to on the phone. I said yes and he proceeded to show us our table which had a reservation plaque with our time slot on it. He was very kind throughout the whole evening, very fun and apologetic. Altogether, food was very good (although one pizza was a bit burnt – but it also came quite late) and, manager aside, service was very good.

Excellent service however the food (Sunday roast) is very average since it’s reopened. Would recommend for a drink (as it has a great selection of gins) but not overly enamoured by the food.

Great gin selection! Good attentive service, nice atmosphere, a little outside the city but worth the ride, great food - had the dips and flat bread appetizer, duck and a pizza. I was looking forward the whitebait appetizer from bourdains show but not on the menu :(

A pub with a touch of romance & class. really inventive menu & great wine list. Give yourself time to try a few new drinks & soak up the elegance. Be aware the football is being shown on screens, not in the dining room but immediately next to it.

Lovely pub, great friendly staff and the roast was amazing, massive generous portions especially the meat. Will definitely go back there! Managed to get a table last minute, but actually sitting outside of the main dining area was a lot more chilled :)

I went to the Princess Victoria for the third year running last Saturday before attending a football match at QPR. Not far from Shepherd Bush green, this gastro pub offers excellent value for money. This is my favourite place in the area to have drinks and a meal with friends in a very relaxed atmosphere. Great choice of dishes (traditional pub fares & specials) and drinks on the menu. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

It was nice venue with beautiful inside interior and also outside tables. Perfect for sunny weekend lunch and dinner. It’s too far from nearest tube station. Sunday roast was definitely must. I am not sure the dessert. The price was bit too expensive for the location. Two main meals with two beers and one dessert was £49.

We just moved to the neighbourhood and wanted to give it a try... the Noise level not to my liking (Really Loud) The food.. I am not one to even write a review buuut... bad... plain and simple... I ordered an aubergine tagine... it was tinned tomato and tined chickpeas not an aubergine in sight and some olives. oh, and oddly topped with salad leaves! . none of us finished our meal... Tagine cooked and spiced a long time... come on.. with Uxbrige road you cant do that...
