The food was quite poor, the base of my pizza was doggy but the drinks wrre lovely!
After the initial good service, we were ignored. Our main plates weren’t cleared away, and eventually we went to the bar to order dessert, but they then said that they weren’t serving food anymore. Very disappointing. Would not return for food.
Very friendly staff nice and it’s a nice chilled out bar
disappointed with the staffs customer service had to leave before wanted not the best end to our night out !
A lovely treat as a belated birthday celebration. Lovely atmosphere and excellent drinks choice
The food was ok. The Mojitas very good. But had to wait 45 minutes before getting served. I think you need more staff.
Took a long time for the food to come. Had to wait even longer for a forgotten side dish. Food was ‘ok’.
Service bad, staff not fully aware of drinking laws surrounding eating and drinking as a family. food ok’sh, overpriced.
Didn't have a meal, menu at venue is nothing like the menu advertised on the website! Poor selection for vegetarian and out of the four main meals(steak and ale pie, 8oz ribeye, scampi or fish and chips) they only had scampi or fish and chips! After wasting money on a taxi fare and just shy of twelve pounds, on a pint and a half of carling and a glass of wine, we settled up and walked out in disgust and had pizza when we got home. Would I recommend?, no avoid it like you would avoid covid 19!!!
really nice sat on the roof terrace the food was excellent
Waiting hour for drinks. Drinks never came. Refunded less than what paid. So bad.
Waited long time for drinks, food was nothing special very average. Won’t be rushing to go back 🙁
It was okay. Had a better experience last time, service was just slow.
Lovely good and great service, thank you so much !
Good food and drink nice place but very slow service
The portion size was not great and the service was quite slow
Waited an hour for food. Also, choice and quality of hand pull beers was poor. Redeemed themselves with the food, which to be fair was good.
Lovely place. We sat on rooftop terrace, lovely sun trap. Staff friendly and attentive. Good value for money.
The staff were brilliant, super friendly and welcoming! Food was great - especially the sticky toffee pudding!!!!
Enjoyed every minute staff are soo welcoming and polite thank you
Lovely meal and drinks. Service was ok little slow but understandable as only just reopened
Excellent staff the food was really nice very clean awesome
Lovely to sit out in the roof garden. 👌 will visit again
We didn’t eat this time so can’t comment on that. The staff were excellent and always happy to help. Good luck to all at the Potting Shed through these very hard times.
Lovely place a little disappointed the cocktails have shrunk in size and gutted they no longer do the bluelight card discount for NHS staff.
Lovely food, friendly staff, plenty of space, good service .
There was a lovely friendly guy serving us who was just fab and the food was yummy! I would definitely reccoment the chocolate fudge cake!
Lovely service food was hot an very good value for money
Very tasty food and defo recommend the fudge cake and ice cream
Fantastic staff, fantastic service and the food is amazing. We will definitely be back again.
It was a lovely day. The weather was nice and sunny. As for the food and staff were great . Going again
Was seated with no menus, took 20 mins to take a drink order, chicken was dry and over cooked and no one came to ask how it was or ask if we needed anything else. We had to go up to the bar to ask to pay. Was very disappointed
Visited with some friends for drinks on Saturday evening. Meet and greet at the door, shown to cleaned table, easy to open a tab for drinks & good table service. Will be back soon
Food was ok but took ages to arrive. Service wasn't great either. Considering it wasn't busy I can't see a reason for the above.
Food was cold and steak fatty won’t be rushing back
Greeted by a friendly staff member, food was ok. But service was ridiculously slow. Waited over an hour for our meal. Also witnessed the girl making bread bases taking her hat off, rubbing her hair then carrying on with her orders. Not very hygienic. Plus side, was 50% off food, and staff member deducted a further 25% off drinks due to slow service!!
We had to wait an awfully long time to get our food. Also they had no choice of red wine, Zinfandel was all they could offer.
We were placed upstairs with no other diners. A staff meeting was taking place. We waited for our drinks for a while, we then decided to return Downstairs to enquire about our drinks& also asked for a table to eat downstairs. I order a burgerto be told the fryer was broken so no fries just salad, two bites I to the burger discovered it was raw in the middle. I didn't pay for burger not a very nice experience 😕
Our visit was okay overall, the food lacked the extras you'd expect at that price point though. My vegan burger came with one piece of lettuce and the patty with a handful of fries and nothing else. No burger toppings, no sauces for the chips or the burger. Other pub/restaurant's come with more than that for a lower price. When we arrived there was no music playing and we had to ask for it although there was a pub quiz on downstairs so that could have been why. My partner ordered the salad with cauliflower nufget style bites and they were amazing. We also had a few Gina and cocktails which were really tasty. Originally the potting shed used to have sheds that you sat in outside (at the one in bingley anyway) which for me was why I booked to eat here but unfortunately they don't have any sheds at the guiseley one which makes me wonder why it's called "The Potting shed". They do have an indoor/outdoor area which is like a big comservatory with an open roof although this wasn't open when we went. If you go over the road to "The Station" they have little train sheds you can sit in if that's what you're after.
Had to wait over 30 minutes for a lemonade to then be told the machine wasn’t working. No one assisted with ordering food so after 30 minutes for a drink decided to leave. Very disappointed, rushed around to get there in time but staff clearly don’t know what they are doing and not interested in customer satisfaction. Won’t be returning.
Really slow service and food not good. Very disappointing 😕
Great service and loved the cocktails I will be going back very soon
Lovely family meal. Felt relaxed and safe. Staff friendly and welcoming
Food was amazing and the service was excellent. Thank you.
We loved the quiz and the atmosphere, but the food was poor and took 1hr and a half to come :/
Staff were very busy but cheerful, food was good, as it got busier customers were not social distancing and the noise levels became unbearable. Felt sorry for staff as they were clearly understaffed for a Saturday night.
Food was nice but let down by very slow service. Staff were lovely but worked at a snails pace we had to ask for cutlery twice and chase our drink order while watching others being served instantly at the bar. Also watch the wine measures we were given a medium when asked for a large and the next round of drinks had 2 very different measures of wine which was rectified when we told the waitress. Shame the service let the food down.
Excellent service great food. Felt safe to be eating out
Massively understaffed and dirty. Food average. Service slow. Very disappointing.
Food was good and great value. Service was not. Slow and difficult to catch servers eye. Not offered any condiments and had to as for bill twice 😕
