Absolutely great service table ready for us and Sunday Roast was fantastic, bit noisy when first arrived but they left to go to Football all quiet after! great food great service will go again

super friendly staff and the sunday roast was very nice. the live band was a little load but not unpleasantly so, the wall between the bar area and the resturant area dampened it enough.

On any footballing day when you have lunch at the Platform you know it is going to be busy and noisy. Good time had by all.

Had not picked up our online booking. Service took 1 hour from order to food arriving. Part of the order was forgotten and arrived after we had finished the meal. Drinks however were good and the food when it arrived was also very good.

The Platform has the rear ability to combine eclectic atmosphere and traditional Sunday lunch all in one place. Add to that live acoustic music being played in the bar which can be heard at background level in the restaurant and you have the perfect place to relax. It's also dog friendly which is always a bonus.

Very crowded although was Match day . Confusion over online booking. Incorrect food order delivered and one dish arrived 10 mins before rest of order. Food was good but they were struggling to cope today.

After being in a very bouncy marina due to high winds and heavy rain we decided we needed Sunday dinner and have to say was a very nice meal and a great choice of beers and ciders. Everybody in the pub seemed to be enjoying there meals the pie looked very nice as well. There was also life music.

Lovely quaint old building. Menu is simple but a good variety of food. Service was quick and meals cooked to perfection and good sizes portions. Lovely atmosphere with live band. Music wasn't overpowering and it was still possible to have a conversation! Would definitely visit again.

The Platform is a friendly pub drenched in history. They have regular live music and the food and service is world class. The cider festival is always a winner.

Restaurant very busy so a long wait for food , however the food was well cooked and staff pleasant. Will eat there again and recommend to anyone else.
