The Pasta Factory offered a really enjoyable dining experience, made even better by the excellent service. Tom, our waiter, stood out with his friendly, attentive approach and great menu suggestions—he truly added to the evening. Laura was also lovely and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was fresh and well-prepared, especially the handmade pasta dishes. All around, a solid spot for a good meal and great service.
Great menu which really delivered. Very tasty, fresh pasta. Lovely staff and good atmosphere. All at a reasonable price.
Another lovely PF lunch: great food, service & able to talk to friends. We'll be back!!
A Delightful Lunch at The Pasta Factory in Manchester I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Pasta Factory in Manchester for lunch, and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this spot excels in offering exceptional food paired with a warm, welcoming vibe. The Food: A Pasta Lover’s Dream The menu boasts a variety of pasta dishes, all crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I chose the classic spaghetti carbonara, which was cooked to perfection—its rich, creamy sauce complemented by crispy pancetta that added a satisfying crunch. My dining companion opted for the penne arrabbiata, a dish with a perfect balance of spice and flavor. Every bite highlighted the care and skill put into the food, making it undeniably excellent. Warm and Attentive Service The service was a standout feature of our visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations, adding a personal touch that made our lunch feel special. Their warmth turned a simple meal into a memorable experience. Cozy and Inviting Atmosphere The restaurant itself has a cozy yet modern feel, ideal for a leisurely lunch. With plenty of natural light streaming through the windows, the space felt bright and airy. The comfortable decor made it a pleasant place to linger, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the meal. Final Thoughts Overall, The Pasta Factory in Manchester is a gem worth visiting, especially for pasta enthusiasts. With its excellent food, warm service, and inviting atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot for a delicious lunch or dinner. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out—you won’t be disappointed!
I've never been disappointed—quite the opposite. The pasta always surprises me with its outstanding quality and rich flavor. I never miss the chance to enjoy their dishes whenever I'm in Manchester.
We visited for an early meal before the Andrea Bocelli concert. Great location for transport by tram from Shudehill to the Eithiad. Tom our waiter looked after us really well and recommended a great Aglianico red wine with our meal. It went so well with the two different pan fried gnocchi starters and flat bread caponata special, the prawn ravioli and stuffed pasta with sage butter special main. Delicious throughout. There was a lovely vibe as the place filled quickly even though it was early We'll definitely be back for dessert!
Very good visit, just a little cramped for space. However service was good and food exceptional
I have wanted to eat here with family for a number of years now and was looking forward to eating here after seeing how popular it was and for the tasty smells coming from inside. There are too many tables wedged in and waiters flying everywhere. Not a place for a family celebration, as you have to shout to be heard. Food decidedly average. Squid starter tasteless. Tuna over seasoned (you couldn't even taste the chilli). Ravioli alternative was soggy and lukewarm. Slow service. 25 minutes for the starters and a further 45 minutes for the main courses. Would not recommend. My parents main courses and the 10% service charge were taken off the bill.
This was our 3rd visit to Pasta Factory and the food was fantastic as usual. The waitress was definitely service with a smile. Will definitely be returning again in a few weeks time.
Great food and service! Will definitely go there again soon
The food was amazing & the service was solid. We’d definitely recommend!
Love this place, always eat here when I am in Manchester. It serves the most authentic Italian pasta I have had in a restaurant. Better than a lot of places actually in Italy. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic homemade pasta that was very reasonably priced. Waiters took great care of us and made sure we had a brilliant evening. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to try truly fresh pasta done simply but so effectively
It might just be part of the offer, but I haven’t been anywhere that offers zero flexibility on the menu for a long as I can remember. It was take it as it comes or don’t have it.
Excellent, first time ,very good on everything,,,maybe a bit cold at the end, we been seated next to staff doors ,we coming back 😀 👍
The pastas are amazing and I would definitely visit again in the future
Nian and Laura served us with the most amazing dishes. Everything was fresh and the flavours were perfect, I particularly loved the grilled calamari starter and the squid ink bucatini main course! Can't wait to come here again and try the other dishes!
Lovely restaurant, delicious food & great service. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
So tasty, authentic Italian food at a reasonable price :)
I visited Pasta Factory and as soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Laura , Frenchie and Tom. We were seated immediately. The Valentine's Day menu was incredible and full of flavour. The pink theme was beautiful and very creative. For starters, we had focaccia with the three dips and burrata with tomato and croutons. It was delicious and very fresh. The Focaccia was bouncy and so luxurious tasting. It was a warm hug of flavour. I could eat the accompanying dips, especially the Truffle one, all day long. We had the gnocchi gorgonzola with pork, the Valentine's risotto and the cacio e pepe pasta dish. The portions were very good and fresh. The cacio e pepe was very simple yet very delicious. The fresh pasta was mind blowing. Most Italian restaurants I have visited previously have limited Vegan and Vegetarian options, despite the fact that it is so simple to have good, tasty Italian vegan and vegetarian food. The homemade pasta is gold. The food was mind blowing with great portion sizes. The prices are very fair and it is well worth the money. I could eat 100 portions of the Tiramisu, it is decadent, rich and luxurious.
The ravioli agli spinaci was very good but a bit bland for my taste. My fault, I think, for making an over-cautious choice. I will be more adventurous next time! Everything else was top-class, and our serving-lady was excellent.
The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful
I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant, it's one of my favorite in Manchester.
It's my favourite place to have pizza in town. Best Italian food, never fails.
Tom was brilliant. Food was exquisite. Ambience was perfect and wine was even better.
Amazing food and amazing staff! Special thanks to Tom for the super nice service!
Really slow service. Cramped table. Cold main course after over 1 hour wait time!!
Great food. Service was a little slow and one thing was missed off our order but it was busy. Lovely friendly staff.
Great food especially the panelle. Good service just slightly slow.
The Pasta factory was recommended and more than lived up to its reputation. Staff were really friendly and attentive even though it was really busy. Food was amazing - freshly cooked, beautiful flavours and very reasonable . Will definitely go again 👍
Waited a while to have order taken. Starter and main very good. Tiramisu disappointing.
Always great to have a place over exceed my expectations. Heard warm things about it before our visit but have been disappointed when finally visiting myself. Not this time. Wonderful greeting on arriving and that continued through the meal . The food was excellent! And the price was good to. Definitely a place we will be going back to again now we've dipped our toes once!
Fantastic, friendly place. A great authentic menu at sensible prices
Absolutely amazing meal! Had the Lasagne of the week-Bechamel,Truffle and Brushchetta…felt like i’d died and gone to heaven!
Staff was very friendly. We had lovely evening and delicious food! We gonna be back! 😊
Great food and service. We had the ravioli with ragu and it was fantastic
Very cold restaurant and poor ambiance Will try sister ones but will not return here
To be honest, I’m quite disappointed. We booked this place as my parents (who we were with) have been a couple times before and have said good things. Tonight was not that. The wait times, for both drinks and food was ridiculous. We’d been in the restaurant for an hour and a half and still hadn’t had our mains by this point. The menu choice was very minimal. I almost always have a pasta dish with chicken or something similar when I go to other Italian restaurants. No sort of choice for any of this. Couple items we had weren’t even on the menu, we had to ask if they were possible. To not have sides was even more shocking, chips or garlic bread is standard but no. The ravioli dish looked like a starter not a main! So chips on the side wouldn’t sufficed. I personally would’ve thought there would be the option to choose pasta shapes, then sauce, then fillings such as chicken or mushroom or pork etc. Food tasted good I was just left quite disappointed. Sorry
We were celebrating my 40th and I’m so glad we went to the pasta factory!! Excellent service and a brilliant warm atmosphere. The pasta is the best in Manchester!!!
The pasta was amazing, although the lasagne was somewhat lacking in flavour. The starters could be improved, as the focaccia and dips were a little bland. The service was friendly and attentive.
Loved the food! The pastas were great, very authentic and fresh!!
Portion size was a little small but good tasting and nice pastas
Fantastic food and great staff I will be returning Definitely
the food is absolutely amazing here , definitely recommend to anyone visiting manchester
The grilled octopus was amazing! But sadly the other dishes fell slightly flat for us. The ragu lacked depth of flavour and overall did not seem value for money considering. The servers were super lovely but sadly we found the service to be slow and we would have liked to be asked for more drinks at some point during the night. The atmosphere was great and I love the fact that it’s a small business and I would love to purchase some fresh pasta at some point, but our meal tonight wasn’t as I would have hoped!
Lovely low key place with fabulous food. Everything was delicious
Lovely authentic Italian restaurant with high quality dishes. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Excellent, will visit again, very impressive all round, thank you
Welcoming and attentive staff added to the delicious food eaten - the focaccia bread/trio of dips and chickpea fritter starters were a great way to start our meal. I came with my aunt who's from London. She had such a good experience noticing how friendly staff were, that it made her evening off before a very early start for work very enjoyable. There were also a range of vegan options for me. Thank you!
Really good service and atmosphere! The food was a mix of imaginative flavor combos and traditional pasta. Would definitely recommend
