Very cold restaurant and poor ambiance Will try sister ones but will not return here

To be honest, I’m quite disappointed. We booked this place as my parents (who we were with) have been a couple times before and have said good things. Tonight was not that. The wait times, for both drinks and food was ridiculous. We’d been in the restaurant for an hour and a half and still hadn’t had our mains by this point. The menu choice was very minimal. I almost always have a pasta dish with chicken or something similar when I go to other Italian restaurants. No sort of choice for any of this. Couple items we had weren’t even on the menu, we had to ask if they were possible. To not have sides was even more shocking, chips or garlic bread is standard but no. The ravioli dish looked like a starter not a main! So chips on the side wouldn’t sufficed. I personally would’ve thought there would be the option to choose pasta shapes, then sauce, then fillings such as chicken or mushroom or pork etc. Food tasted good I was just left quite disappointed. Sorry

We were celebrating my 40th and I’m so glad we went to the pasta factory!! Excellent service and a brilliant warm atmosphere. The pasta is the best in Manchester!!!

The pasta was amazing, although the lasagne was somewhat lacking in flavour. The starters could be improved, as the focaccia and dips were a little bland. The service was friendly and attentive.

The grilled octopus was amazing! But sadly the other dishes fell slightly flat for us. The ragu lacked depth of flavour and overall did not seem value for money considering. The servers were super lovely but sadly we found the service to be slow and we would have liked to be asked for more drinks at some point during the night. The atmosphere was great and I love the fact that it’s a small business and I would love to purchase some fresh pasta at some point, but our meal tonight wasn’t as I would have hoped!

Welcoming and attentive staff added to the delicious food eaten - the focaccia bread/trio of dips and chickpea fritter starters were a great way to start our meal. I came with my aunt who's from London. She had such a good experience noticing how friendly staff were, that it made her evening off before a very early start for work very enjoyable. There were also a range of vegan options for me. Thank you!

The booking process was very easy and efficient. The welcome was lovely. Sadly, the food was disappointing as our spinach ravioli was cold and tasteless ans the sausage and mushroom lasagne was not as expected. Garlic bread was also ordered and that cane after reminding the waiter and it came after we had finished with our meals. We were hoping for tasty, authentic Italian meals after reading the reviews but it's not what we experienced. The atmosphere was buzzing and I hope other people did enjoy their meals.

Waited for over an hour Mains. Wait staff needed promoting to bring out our staters after 30mins as they had seemingly forgotten about our table. No one was even apologetic about the situation. A shame because the food is good but I don’t I’ll not be returning

Really nice pasta! Short waiting time for the food and the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and not too loud, easy to have a conversation with your friends at the table.

Myself and my brother went for dinner for his birthday. The service was great, the staff are so polite and prompt. I requested a small birthday desert for my brother and they kindly did that for me. Great service

Lovely lunch date at The Pasta Factory. Everything we had was delicious, fresh and good quality. Staff were very friendly. Only criticisms - there could have been more olives on the bread and olives starter and service was a little bit slow in places. Great place though, would recommend.

I always love going to pasta factory. As an Italian in Manchester, this is the best pasta place! You can taste the freshness of the handmade pasta and they change their menu often giving you choice to try so many different dishes and types of pasta typical of different regions of Italy. The staff is always friendly and professional and whenever I go there I feel back in Italy

Food was good but customer service was poor. The table next to us arrived later and the server took their order first and ignored us. Walked around a few times and we had to get another waitress to take the order.

Quirky little Italian restaurant with super friendly staff and amazing food. We ordered the burrata, home made bread, bacon carbonara, beef ragu ravioli and finished it off with an affogato. You can also order carafes of wine which is a nice option too. 10/10.
